DO NOT TRUST THEM. They won't hold themselves accountable for issues they can't fix, but will gladly take your money for service fees and anything else, even if your car issue doesn't go away. Cost is not cheaper than going to Tesla Service, so just stick to going to Tesla where you can trust their workmanship. Went in for my Tesla MX AC error repair. They got an aftermarket unit and it sounds like a JET on low or high (HORRIBLE OPTION). And the AC error returned. Notified them and they don't give a shit about reconciling any of it. Asked for a refund on the services charges and would still pay for the faulty part, but they have ghosted me. I wanted to give them a chance, took it back for a second look while I incurred 1 week of rental out of pocket and got the car back with the same issue. Will not be going back for another look. Of course the Dealership wanted to charge us $12k for a new battery pack, I started looking for a 3rd party Tesla repair shop and every snap I called did not work on the high voltage battery until finally I found Electric City Tesla repair shop. Cesar was very helpful, and answered all my questions and confirm that they can fix the problem with my battery. Basically they had to replace my entire cooling and heating system. My compressor completely destroyed everything which was very upsetting. Got a quote here and they were very fair. I went to this company when it called itself Hybrid Auto Club. I DID NOT HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE!! Among other problems, their guys said they couldn't fix the headlights on my Prius. That I had to take it to the dealership. It took it to Toyota of Redlands and they said all it was was burnt out bulbs! I had to pay $250 for that diagnosis and bulb change. After $100 inspection, jumped to $5.3k (front) + $2.9k (rear). Red flags: David insisted $600 trunk repair "wouldn't be good enough" for my Tesla lease, pushed $2.9k replacement. After they missed bumper damage ($600), he suddenly said repair would "look just fine" and offered to "make it even at $2.9k." That's $1,200 worth of work for $2,900--when I asked for itemized invoices, he refused and ghosted me, claiming "system doesn't allow it." At pickup, they handed me an invoice for $4.1k. Then printed a SECOND invoice--same $4.1k total but R&R costs, labor, and parts had shifted by hundreds of dollars, plus a mysterious $1,322 "discount" we never received. How do line items change while the total stays identical? Called my mom (an accountant) to review. After nearly 2 hours of them insulting her for asking legitimate questions, they claimed it was "accounting between two shops to avoid double-taxing our deposit"--ironic since they offered $300 cash discount to dodge taxes. Staff contradicted themselves: first said OEM part (explaining scratches), then insisted it was "brand new" when questioned. Let me begin by first giving you the short version and bottom line. These guys are the real deal! They are amazing at what they do, nothing is too complex for them. Truly skilled. They even make the Tesla service centers look like children. In my situation, I had aftermarket Model S Plaid tail lights installed by SOME OTHER fancy Instagram company in orange county. They claim I had a defective new tail light, didn't follow instructions, didn't know what they were doing , and to top it off they ruined by charge port. I frantically started searching for a aftermarket tesla repair and electrician experts. I came accross these guys when they returned my inquiry first thing in the morning Monday. As soon as I explained my situation and that I can't even charge my car, mayday, help - they didn't even hesitate , Abraham told me don't worry they will resolve it, come on in. I was already relieved and already got a sense of good customer service. They had three big jobs going on but they saw a customer in need and took me in. They figured out the issue down to the core within 1/2 hour to 1 hour. They even showed me where the first installer made errors and had negligence. They then let me leave to get a part from Tesla that only Tesla sells which was damaged by the first installers. I picked up a new set of tail lights , and came back a couple hours later. They finished the job and did it perfectly. I even had the manufacturer of the aftermarket tail light warn me that many installers don't know what they are doing and not to go to them. I put my trust in Electric City without hesitation and I am glad I did. They did a stand up job and even assured me if something goes wrong later to come back. They finished everything within the same day. True confidence, trust, excellent workmanship, and honesty. These kinds of companies don't exist anymore! As I told Abraham, these guys are a God send! It's now 2 days later and everything is working perfectly. To top it off, these guys at electric city had reasonable rates, they didn't try to gouge me or rip me off, let alone try to claim the issue is bigger than it really is. When you come here and get your repairs, upgrades, or retrofit, you will not regret it. I can't say enough good things about these guys. I had my 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid towed to this place because it broke down on me. They ran a diagnostic in a few days I was given news of their findings that it was the alternator amongst other things related to the alternator. I also learned this is the only hybrid car with an alternator. ‍ David was very transparent with me about the issue and assured me they can for sure repair the problem and get my car back up and running. I wanted to perform a preventive maintenance oil and filter exchange on the drive unit of my 2023 Tesla Model 3 RWW but kept getting runaround just for an estimate from TSC. Found this family owned Electric Vehicle repair shop after frustrating experience with Tesla Service Center (TSC) thru Yelp and it was the best no haggle, no nonsnense experience I've had with any auto repair. They also were able to perform a complete cleaning of the AC condenser/radiator from top to bottom where most DIY tutorials only show to do partiall cleaning only from the top. David was very prefessional and detailed in explaining all the work done, very prompt, and all the staff where very nice. Once again, there is nothing scarier to a Generation 2 Toyota Prius owner than that dreaded "Red Triangle Of Death" as I mentioned in my previous review. When it appeared on my dashboard once again, I actually felt a physiological reaction in my body and my heart started to race. I immediately called Hybrid911Prius and Sam immediately got me to calm down and we developed a plan to limp my car into the Covina shop in order for him to diagnose it. This time it was the hybrid battery pack and it needed to be replaced. Given the age of the original battery, this was to be expected. I learned that with these types of vehicles, replacing the hybrid battery should be considered a part of regular maintenance and not a capital repair. The battery pack was professionally replaced the same day and at a fair price. But I wanted to go a little further in my second review... As Sam and Eric were working on the battery, the NASA engineer in me could not resist asking how the hybrid battery system worked. They were kind enough to explain how it worked, how they pinpointed the problem, and how they were going to fix it. I have never had a shop explain how they were going to fix it right the first time in such detail. This of course gives the customer the confidence and security to know that their vehicle will be serviced correctly. My Tesla Model Y had scratches along the rear hatch along with rear windshield. I first went to Tesla specialist body shop and their quote was extremely high due to how they wanted to take the rear apart along with painting all the way down to quarter panel to match the color.
