Beforehand, we worked with Jessica to develop an all-vegan menu, and she prepared a tasting meal for us. We wanted our wedding meal to be southern-themed, and Jessica came up with creative and tasty all-vegan options - macaroni and cheese, grits, collard greens, biscuits, bbq tofu, and a peach salad! Plus vegan fried chicken and waffles as an appetizer that guests raved about. We were very pleased with the tasting and decided to hire her for our wedding. The pandemic put our plans on a year+ long hiatus, but Jessica stayed in contact with us throughout and made herself available on the day of our wedding. She also made time to come by the wedding venue a few weeks beforehand to scope things out, which was really helpful. On the wedding day, Jessica showed up right on time, and dinner was ready exactly when it was needed. She also worked with us on pandemic-related precautions, which was appreciated. Overall, it was a really great experience, and we highly recommend Jessica and Humble Bumble Catering.

The chicken has been tender and seems like maybe marinated. I've picked up their brownies and considering they're made of protein ingredients, they're tasty. That said, I can see the appeal for those who are just too busy overall and want fast, healthy meals without having to cook. Overall, glad to have tried another local establishment. Ended up buying a red velvet cupcake because red velvet is my weakness. HANDS DOWN the best red velvet cake I've ever had. The BF doesn't even like red velvet normally and he loved this one. Not overly sweet with the right amount of cream cheese frosting and rich flavor. Both the red velvet cake and the creamsicle cake we sampled were perfectly moist. There were three people working at the tent, two of which I believe are a husband and wife team. I want to say the other gentleman was the brother. Even though we caught them as they were closing, all three were so friendly and personable. We will definitely be back to visit them (and try the famous sweet potato cheesecake). Truly nice people, and delicious treats! Give them a shot.
