I'm not really sure how a cookie can be both unpleasantly wet and doughy and crumbly at the same time. It is a very singular skill. The cookies themselves are not at all pleasant to eat and practically inedible. The frostings are pretty good of a but overly cloyingly sweet. I find it crazy that the best thing from a store supposedly specializing in cookies was a cake (which is a 3.5 out of five stars on its own) ... which saved this from being a less than a one star review. I've tried this location three times es (I fell for the influencer seasonal offerings hype twice)... each trip was just as horrible as the last. Went in a little before 9 PM to get the advertised free cookie. There were several other people there for the same reason, but neither of the two employees acknowledged anyone waiting for the promotion. If you asked a question, they seemed irritated and gave very short responses. We waited off to the side for quite a while, yet the only people getting cookies were customers who came in after us and were placing paid orders. It was frustrating to be ignored while watching others get helped first. The shorter employee also had a poor attitude and kept giving customers dirty looks, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. I understand being short staffed isn't the employees' fault, but that's on management. If you're going to advertise a free cookie promotion and expect a large crowd, schedule enough staff to handle it. Don't advertise a promotion if customers who come in for it are just going to be ignored. read more

Ordered curbside pick up on my way home to try their lucky charms cookie last month. I waited about 10 minutes, and no one ever came out. It initially looked somewhat busy, but even when it was empty, my order was still not brought out. I was not greeted or acknowledged when I entered either. Never tried Crumbl before but thought I would try it because it was open this time when I was ordering from Ono Hawaiian next door. The cookies sounded better than they tasted. I was expecting the cookie part to be better, I liked the frosting component and the specific embellishments, I suppose. I'm going to have to add pictures next time . They disappeared that fast. I've tried many of their cookies but the chocolate fudge was really good last season. That said their chocolate chip is moist and chocolatey and filling. One of their current offerings is a peanut butter with a fudge icing in the center. This one is so good. The chocolate is creamy and the peanut butter cookie is chewy and delicious. The restaurant is clean and well run. Orders are either online or at a kiosk in the store. There is always a line when I go. They are quick and you can see people making the cookies to order. Super super yummy. A bit pricey but they offer assortments in boxes. You choose flavors so that's fun for an evening movie night at home. It's a franchise so they are always a little more expensive but it's worth it. I will be back. Let me be clear... I vowed that i'd never spend $5 on a "gourmet cookie." I told myself I couldn't justify paying more for something that I could easily get a comparable replacement for, at my local bakery. I said, "No way, Not me..." And then... IT HAPPENED. I was hit HARD with a wicked "sweet-tooth" craving while stuck in the middle of weekday southbound traffic. So I caved. I pulled off the exit and waltzed right in to the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked cookies--and I knew I was in for something amazing. I learned that the cookie flavors change every week so I had to make sure I tried at least two flavors--I knew that by the time I come back again, they just wouldn't be there! So I settled for the lemon-blackberry and the hazelnut sea salt cookies. Not only were these beauties uniquely flavored... but they were also deliciously chewy, and sweet. One of the best treats i've had in quite some time.... With that being said, i've become a Crumbl lover through and through... even came back two weeks later and tried the milk chocolate chip (a weekly staple) and the Ocean Spray Cranberry White Chip. I went into the Morgan Hill store on Friday, February 20, about 11:30 am, to get a cookie for my birthday. I hadn't been in years ( since they were $4.00!) I was taken back by the price, but I really wanted one, so I paid the $5.29! I told the girl it was my birthday and she wished me a hb! Later that day I texted my granddaughter and told her how I had bought myself a cookie. She asked why I paid for it and proceeded to tell me that they are supposed to give you a free cookie. I told her I did not know, I didn't have the app, and the girl working never said anything to me. My granddaughter said you don't need the app, that she goes every year to get her free cookie! I was extremely bummed, I spent my birthday all by myself and it would have really made my day a little happier if I would have been given a free cookie! They need to train their servers better! If I worked there and on old person came in and said it was their birthday, I would have made sure they got their free cookie! Would highly recommend Crumbl. Great for any occasion from birthdays, anniversaries, and more. You can order the large size or cater smaller cookies for a large party. I always preorder through the app and have them deliver to my car. You also have the option for home delivery, to preorder and go in to pick up, or to just arrive and wait in line to get your cookies. So far I have ordered three times and every time the cookies have been fresh and delicious. I am always excited to see what flavors they will have as they rotate. The workers are also very friendly and quickly. Parking in the plaza can be tight as there are a ton of other food places around, but I have always been lucky and snagged a spot near the shop. Regardless, the workers find my car and are able to deliver successfully. Personalization: to make the occasion even more special you can pay to add a sticker to commemorate the occasion. Nope. I ordered a four pack, and they got one of the cookies wrong (mint chocolate instead of strawberry). I had a very disappointed toddler who only wanted strawberry, so I had to go back with two small kids in the hot sun. I brought the box in to show them, and they grabbed it out of my hands and simply swapped out the cookie. This is tacky. No real apology, and they shouldn't have even taken the box back, in my opinion. They should have just handed me the missing cookie! Why remove the other cookie? We drove all the way back, and they couldn't even leave the mint cookie? We were ambivalent about the actual cookie, but it's the principle. And finally, the monster cookie had TWO BROKEN PIECES of an M&M in it!!!!!!!!!! Seriously?! I'm including a photo of half plus the slice with a sliver of M&M.
