I've driven by this place a few times and I finally had a chance to stop by and check them out. It just happened to be July 4 and it was pouring rain. I ran in and sat at the bar. There was about five or six people inside, but the place filled up as time went on- with every bar seat taken by 8 PM. Taylor, the bartender, was super nice and helpful. He gave me the food menu and let me know that the kitchen closed before bar closing time. They had a weekend special of a fried bologna sandwich, but I went for the pretzel bites. I also had a flight of beers; they basically let you have as many as you want and they're all the same price. I really enjoyed the black IPA. I had quite a few mini beers. There was really only one that I didn't like. It was their beertini, which was a riff on a gin martini and it even came with olives. Some people like it, but it just wasn't my style, which is weird because I actually like gin, and martinis and olives. The local crowd was awesome. I talked to everyone at the bar. They were very welcoming. They have a mug club, which has a six month waiting list. There's a limited amount of mugs and prior mug club members have priority to reenlist before new members are inducted in. Each year the mug is different and has a number on it so you know which one is yours and you keep the mug there. Mug club members have special events throughout the week and they get either a larger poor than regular customers or the same poor at a cheaper price/discounted pours. Mug club membership is $140 a year. They also have access to new brews before the general public. They have trivia on Thursdays and that books up fast, so you need a reservation for that. Very cool locals bar and super welcoming. I will definitely come back.

Been open 6 years and I just discovered Hiatus. Was just expecting microbrews but the pub food was awesome. I highly recommend the Pretzel Bites and Wings. We went with 5 ounce beer flights to discover our favorites. Tyler the bartender was very informative and helpful. I shall return.

Came here for the first time on the day after Christmas and it was SLAMMED! I felt so bad for the waitstaff because it was a full house with only 1 bartender, 1 busser and 1 chef. Took a good while to get our food but they were super apologetic and kind. Hopefully they can have more foresight on staffing for busy days! The chicken tacos had great flavor and were super affordable. I felt like there should've been more meat in the shells but otherwise very tasty :)

What a place. Our second time here as a great dinner spot on the way home from Atlanta. Had the "Everyday is Saturday " and "They Call Me Baltastic" (a Kõlsch and a Porter) with dinner. I had the Thai Flatbread and my companion the Smoked Wings with Lemon Pepper rub for dinner. All were top-notch. The bartender was both professional and friendly. They were patient as we hemmed and hawed through both menus! Two "thumbs-up " A must stop if you are passing through, and for those lucky enough to live in or near Ocala, a great addition to the craft brew rotation! Go! Now!

Very nice atmosphere, clean, friendly staff, beer and appetizers were very good! I had the "everyday is Saturday", we ordered the nachos, pretzel bites, and hamburger pizza. All great!

Leave it to Ben to find a way to get in a brewery while visiting his mother. Not far from their new house in Ocala is this small, vibrant brewery. They have a list of different beers that they make but they also have guest taps with ciders and drinks for those who want something different. This was great for Ben's mom as she enjoys ciders. Mostly on tap were CiderBoys, which is a great brand/brewery. They also have food but we were just coming from a late lunch. They are also listed on Craftapped. It is an app you can sign up for that gives you 10 BOGOs per month. Ben signed up in January when it was on a special for the year for only $10.00. That is insane and Ben has gotten his money out of it a few times over again already. We used it during our visit (especially since this is so far from us) so two beers for the price of 1 is always a great deal. He got Hiatus Pink Boots Blend 2021 and Still Hazy After All These Beers. I can see this being a stop in our future when visiting his parents as it's less than 2 miles from their house.

Decent enough local brewery in Ocala. They have some good tasting ones made here. I enjoyed their sour a lot. For a small brewery they have a lot of food options and that was a welcomed surprise. I ended up getting their Cuban which was very good. Service was okay but not great.

Needless to say…read morewhen I arrived at 6pm I was told the festival sold out at 2pm that day even though the event was advertised as being from 11-9pm. so I decided to sit at the bar and have a drink. First I was in line behind someone being help at the register on the other end of the bar. The waitress helped the gentleman and then left the register as if she was handling some other things behind the bar, never returning to take my order, even passing by me several times. Taking orders around the bar. Then A young couple walked up behind me and were helped by the gentleman behind the bar, I assumed he had been helping them before because they were discussing how much alcohol was in a particular beer and weather or not the underage young women could legal drink it based on the alcohol , Now I'm still standing there, yet no one asked to take my order or if I needed anything! Two people finish eating and left so I took one of the seats at the end of the bar beside where I was standing . I watched while the lady lady bartender finished her shift and left and another bartender took her place, upon staring her shift she went straight to help the large group of gentleman at the bar with drinks, so I told myself maybe they have been waiting just as long as I have , yet when she finished with their drinks she walked right past me sitting there with a menu in hand! The final straw was seeing the gentleman with the beard come and take orders from two groups of people standing right beside me , where I previously was and he never attempted to take my order! I won't even mention me looking up and catching a a gentleman staring at me, like literally hard staring at me!! I don't like to make assumptions however I can only assume I was not a welcome sight in this establishment due to me being a black woman!!! I'm in Ocala for a travel assignment and I can say experiencing something like I did at this place yesterday tells me all I need to know about this area! I love the vibe, what a great place to meet friends and hang out. The huge hall also offers food while the brewery is the center point with the bar wrapping all the way around the tabs in the center. There's a beautiful outdoor deck with a view of a lake. The only drawback for me was that I love to enjoy my tasty craft beer, and it was hard to dodge the cigarette smoke. Even though the patio is huge, it is covered so the smoke gets trapped. One smoker polluted the entire patio. It was a beautiful day, but we had to go inside. As a non-smoker I do wish the patio was smoke-free.

It is really awkward making this review, because I really did not get the full experience. I walked in, looked around, checked out the beer menu, asked if they had any of their own beers. When that answer was "no" I left. The end.
