I just left this restaurant and let me start off by saying the owner must be paying people to eat there or people in the Matthews area just don't know what good Chinese/ Hibachi food taste like. I would give the restaurant negative stars. I have been living in this area for 7 years and I never visited because I'm not a fan of buffets, but it's my son's birthday weekend and he's eaten there before. You could not pay me to ever eat there again. The food is masked with sauce, no flavor whatsoever. I tried the Hibachi and the steak tasted like shoe leather. I asked for spicy garlic sauce, it was nothing spicy or garlic. The sweet was exactly what it meant, it should be syrup tea, I had to add water to it and it was still tooooo sweet. I might go into diabetic shock and I'm not a diabetic. I'm out of $38 and I want a damn refund. I would have preferred to flush it down the toilet. Needless to say I will never eat there ever again. If you never visited the restaurant and I say that loosely, stay clear, if you want good Hibachi, go to Carolina's Place Mall to the food court and if you want good Chinese food, visit Red Bowl. I wish I could give 0 I work Postmates part time and the little guy LARSON wouldn't even give a courtesy cup of ice in 100 degree Weather and of course I could have paid for it but his response was we don't have courtesy here piece of crap the courtesy was letting a a hole like you work in our country thank goodness I'm ordering a 40.00 delivery for a customer I wouldn't spend a dime here and p.s. we are delivery drivers a freaking cup of ice would help when it's really hot businesses always ask would you like a drink while you wait considering the hot freaking weather here in NC so as I sit here for over 20 Mins and wait for a customer's order currently in your restaurant as we speak you have officially lost a customer you never had a hole read more

There were about 6 or 7 entrée buffet tables , a small sushi station, a make your own Hibachi grill, also around 3 or 4 desert tables, hard ice cream, fruit /salad tables. Like most buffets , very, noisy, but overall a pretty good buffet. Compared to some of the other choices in the area, this one's better. PS. Don't. Sit in the area way in the back on the left, I think there is some kind of food prep area on the other side of the wall... allot of banging noises, like someone is pounding on meat, or chopping something. read more

This is the best hibachi spot in Charlotte. Actually it's the best in the state of North Carolina. Hands down. It's not even close. They have the best service, cleanest dining room, and the food makes me want to come back everyday. Whether you get the buffet or you go to the back and get a hibachi plate you can't go wrong. The owner is a great guy, he treats you like family and makes sure you have a good dining experience every time. I recommend this spot to everybody I know and they all say the same thing once they try it. I went today and I'll probably be back tomorrow, it's that good. read more

Came for a quick lunch with my coworkers and fell in love with this place Nice and clean place , they have salt and pepper shrimp during lunch and dinner the hibachi grill in the back is also include witch I think it's really good . The prices are very affordable not many restaurants have a good price for a buffet. The servers are very nice and respectful very good service they also have rewards program where you sign up and get points for every visit and you get free drinks and meals witch also that is great. This Hibachi Grill is a great place to go when you are hungry or feeding your family! My nephew loved this place as he can eat all he wants including sushi, fresh hibachi, ice cream, and even regular American food. My favorite part is the hibachi grill. You pick your meats, sides and sauce buffet style, had it to the cooks and they cook it in front of you. It's not the most extravagant meal you've ever had like at a real sit-down hibachi restaurant but it's cheap and good! read more

Not sure why this place doesn't have a five star rating but if I can help it it will. I ate here yesterday and I was with the skeptical friend who does not like to eat at all you can eat places. The food here was pretty amazing and they had the best dessert selection I've ever seen any buffet.
