Reasonably priced lunch specials under $8.00 ended up being around $12.00 with drink and egg roll. Food was hot and made to order with a about an 8 min turnaround time. I love this place! When I lived in Charlotte, I lived 5 minutes from here and would visit once a week. The owners are ALWAYS here and it seems like they never have a day off. But you can tell they are dedicated in what they do. We always get the beef & Broccoli, which is very fresh. The broccoli has a nice crisp to it and the beef is nice and tender. Their pork egg rolls are bomb, I always get a couple extra. It's our weird tradition to stop by on Christmas as they are always open. And since we were in Charlotte we stopped by and loaded up. It's nearly impossible for one to stand out. i suppose they should receive high marks because the person that answered the phone spoke English without me having to guess if she understood. However, i did request my General Tso spicier, and although she did repeat that it was spicy when i picked it up, it wasn't. Favorite Chinese Resturant around and very reasonable prices!! My favroite is their Egg Foo Young by far. Also have the great stuffed up Crab Rangoon that some other places lack. Been here a couple of times and always tasted great. I only have tried the egg rolls, crab rangoon and egg foo young so can't say much else about the rest of the menu. Traveling to airport we stopped in as it was one of the few restaurants near Charlotte airport. All four of us left food in our plates and we just had lunch specials. My husband and I became bloated and still today dealing with stomach issues. The food and the sauces were not what we've ever experienced. We have been patronizing this resturant since it 1st opened a few years ago. This last experience has totally turned us off. I called in our order. When I arrived, I was told it wasnt ready, Even though I noticed a bag of food in view. After many customers came & went, well over a 12 hr waiting, even 2 that ordered on the spot, I asked again was it ready. I was finally handed the bag THAT WAS sitting there since I came in. I requested chop sticks, extra duck sauce, & mustard. I expressed my concern on it being hot. But he said he just put up there, which was a lie since I had full view of it. We love Jin Jin.. the lady at the front who answers the phone is always very nice... a little hard to understand sometimes but still very sweet. we love the Egg rolls, the crab and cream cheese Rangoons, and General Tao's Chicken! The ONLY bad thing I will say is... You cant get Swt. tea without lemon floating in it... the make and package the tea in Soup containers and all of them have lemon in them and I hate lemon!! For service & price they're hands down my favorite take-out. Now I will be perfectly honest, it isn't legitimate "CHINESE" food... but it is a good Americanized Edition. There are the occasional less than par nights, but to be honest, it's never been horrific. This is my usually go to spot for Chinese food, but not anymore. I ordered the burbon chicken with extra burbon sauce and I got home all the way on the other side of town only to find out my chicken was as dry as a towel out of the dryer. I blame myself for not checking in the box before I left, but I as I said this was my go to place and I never had any issues before so I never had any doubts. I called them up and I wanted was an acknowledgement that they messed up, nor did I want anything free. All they had to say well come back and we'll give you some sauce on the side or something, but instead they blamed me and said, "Maybe you left it out too long." I replied that it was just 20 minutes ago. Then they hung on after I said I won't be come back to you ever again. We stopped eating here about 6 months ago because the food was subpar. Decided to try our luck to see if anything changed. Tonight we got crispy scallion chicken combos, plain chicken wings, and crab rangoons. It was the best Chinese food we have ate in a long time. I have no relationship with this place but I know the owner is Chinese and I speak Chinese. I will relate all the good comments to them when I stop there again. One of my sisters also has a similar business in New Jersey and has lots of business from local due to their good personality and my brother-in-laws is a good chef. My sister was a high school teacher before moving to this country and she speaks 4 languages. Many years ago, Chinese move to US didn't have high education, most of us can cook well and we love to eat well. Restaurant is a good business to handle. I've been to Jin Jin to buy fast food a few times because it was too late for me to cook. The lady was very sweet. I only ordered Chicken and Broccoli, the portion was good.
