We order take-out from here at least once a month. The chicken bowls are pretty big and can be lunch and dinner for me or my kids. The best part about the bowls is, of course, the white sauce. Ask for extra. Pay for extra, if you must...you won't regret it. My mouth is watering just typing about it. Ha. The employees are always friendly and it's super easy to order over the phone. Will definitely be back.

I don't understand why this place doesn't have five stars.... food is delicious AND cheap. Best of both worlds! The people who work here are so nice and always smiling, we had quick, excellent surface. I've never had food come out faster! For our appetizers, we got masago salad and calamari. The masago salad is basically a crab crunch salad--tons of tempura flakes on top covering a crab stick salad. Creamy and crunchy, yum! The calamari came out piping hot, so crispy without that fishy taste that comes with bad quality seafood. Delicious and tangy dipped in that sauce. I got a steak hibachi and WOW. I've never had such tender, melt-in-your-mouth steak at a Hibachi restaurant before. Order this. It doesn't have the traditional hibachi flavor and was more like the beef in a Chinese beef and broccoli dish, but the cook on the meat was amazing. Plus unlimited white sauce! We got too many sushi rolls to name, but all were savory and delicious. The eel nigiri was especially yummy. For dessert, we got the banana fusion which was fried banana slices with two scoops of red bean ice cream. Bananas came out super hot and was so good with the ice cream. Perfect dessert to end a perfect meal! If you're craving asian food, come here! While it's not your traditional Japanese food, the dishes are too delicious and cheap to give up! Will be back asap!

Trained at the new crunch Summerville location and decided to walk around the strip of stores and restaurants and came across this restaurant. It didn't look like a place I would expect to have a meal that was of great quality but decided to try it with my daughter several days later. The restaurant is located next to the movie theater. The server was a trainee and she was super nice and made the experience enjoyable even though she wasn't familiar with some of the questions, she asked and obtained answers for us. The calamari wasn't the best I've had but it wasn't bad either. The spicy sauce that came with it had a sweet flavor with a mean spicy punch. I ordered the spicy tuna and spicy avocado roll. My daughter orders the Philadelphia cream cheese roll and a tempura roll....we were both pleased with our sushi. For dessert I ordered the fusion cheesecake which is in a nutshell fried cheesecake....it was also very good and my daughter ordered the strawberry mochi ice cream. I tried it for the first time and thought it was really good. Pricey for three ice cream balls but good. I'm glad we visited as I will definitely return.

Strip mall food with delusions of grandeur.  vegetables that cost you extra if you are on a keto diet and don't want rice. The weakest least care taken for a tea order. All bluff and no fusion. Little real fusion Japanese flavor. The southern locals wouldn't know the difference. Way to sweet for an authentic experience. Not bad actually, because it was edible. In and out for under 15 and if you come when it isn't busy ;fast. Charged extra for little and 2.50 for really pointless tea.

Hibachi Fusion on Ladson Road in Summerville is a great place to have Japanese when you are hungry and need something really good to eat. I like all of their meals and you get a lot of food for a good value. I have been impressed with everything every time I have been here and have been overall happy with the food.

I recommend making a reservation. We did not but Ms. Myles graciously accommodated our table for 2. A few hours prior we checked and reservations were wide open, but by the time we got there, they were pretty booked. The staff is wonderful and the food is made with care. Simply delicious! We began with a cup of their clear broth that was light and flavorful and cleansed our palettes for the grilled meats to come. At the suggestion of Ms. Myles, we had the Crispy Pork for an appetizer. Nice and crisp pieces of pork whose fat was properly rendered back into the meat. A lot of places miss this important step. It was served with a luscious white sauce and lightly vinegared hot sauce. Then we went right into their specialty- Yakitori We had one of each of the following: Momo- chicken Thigh Chicken Tenderloin with Yuzu Honey Glaze Australian Wagyu Beef- they offer American Wagyu, and A5 Japanese Kobe as well Bacon Wrapped Crab- high quality Crab stick wrapped in bacon..this was a standout for me. So rich and full of Umami Ribeye We finished the meal off with a plate of Beef Yaki-Udon. The depth of flavor was incredible and again the Umami took center stage. Interesting fact: They have been at this location for 31 years opening first as an Italian restaurant! Myles has been in Charleston for 40 years and is an icon in the Food and Bev industry. She was most recently recognized by Congress for her impact on the Charleston food scene. We were greeted with a smile and left with a hug. Tuna was super fresh, sauce was light and didn't overpower it, and the salmon balls had a great crunch with a ton of flavor. You can tell they care about what they're putting out. I love their hibachi, and this was a VERY good deal for the amount of food you get. I ordered the lunch vegetable hibachi with a side of filet mignon. The meat was cooked really well, and the portion sizes were decent, especially for a lunch order. Flavor-wise, everything was solid. My first issue was that there's no way to add notes or remove ingredients when ordering through DoorDash. I'm not a big bacon fan, and their fried rice has bacon pieces in it, but I had no way to request no bacon. That was frustrating, especially since it's a pretty common customization. My second issue is more of a personal pet peeve: I hate when restaurants charge extra for sauces. If you're already spending money on the food, sauces (within reason) should be included. I'm very much a sauce person, and one tiny little container just doesn't cut it for me. I know it's only cents, but it still bothers me. What made it worse is that I paid for extra sauce and didn't even get it. I'm not totally sure where the responsibility falls--DoorDash vs. the restaurant--but I'd assume it's on the restaurant to double-check the bag before it goes out. I know people make mistakes, and maybe I'm venting over something small, but when it's already a pet peeve of mine, it's extra annoying. That said, the food itself was good and a great value--I'd just love to see better customization options and more consistency with paid add-ons.

(as stated on the check) The server has to split with the chef . Is the chef part owner ?? Also the tip amount at 18% was one amount. Then as soon as i paid by credit card. The credit card service charge increased the 18% tip amount. That's just in bad taste. as far as i'm concerned the server, as little salary as they get , should have the full tip amount.. From a service standpoint, there's really nothing to complain about. The food, however, was just okay. The hibachi-style entrée was generously portioned with rice, vegetables, and protein, but the flavors were pretty mild and didn't really pop. The sushi rolls were fresh and nicely presented, but they tasted fairly standard and weren't very memorable. I also tried the calamari rings and, while they were crispy, I wasn't a big fan of the overall flavor and seasoning. Overall, Yokoso is a decent option if you're looking for good service and solid portions, but the food itself felt average. I wouldn't say it's bad--just not a place I'd go out of my way for.

It is enclosed and air conditioned and the tables are spaced out much more than on the inside. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly and on point bringing their offerings. We started what would become our favorite dish of the night Scallops on the half shell. At first, you may balk at the price but believe me worth every penny. They were $26 at the time of this review but they are topped with two kinds of caviar. It was one of those dishes that after one bite you lean back and savor the flavors. The casino butter, sake and chili garlic will make your taste buds dance. I tried the chili garlic shrimp and gnocchi, and it was so good my wife threatened to steal it. Pillowy soft gnocchi in a rich, decadent sauce with hints of heat was outstanding. It is listed as a small plate, but I found the portion size quite filling. My wife had the oyster roll which was more like a po' boy not a sushi roll. We have had other oyster rolls, and they sometimes disappoint but not this one. Some restaurants just put a few oysters on the top of the bun and that's it, but this roll had oysters all throughout. It came with house made pickles and a single fried oyster on the side as a warmup. I highly recommend it. For dessert we shared a key lime pie semifreddo which was so pretty I almost felt bad for eating it. It was topped with a graham cracker crumble and both raspberry and lime curds. The texture reminding me of ice cream and was not overly tart with a nice hint of key lime. The torched flowers of meringue were really a great touch. The best word we both agreed on was "satisfying" and would definitely come back again!
