Please be careful eating here. I stopped by on my way to a job last night (coming from charlotte) and ordered steak hibachi add broccoli for dinner. Later that night I woke up multiple times throwing up as I had gotten extremely sick from what I guess is either the mushrooms or the white sauce. Worst food poisoning I think I've ever had. I ordered filet and shrimp from them via Doordash. They sent me their regular steak which is tiny and hard. Also there was a miscommunication with the sauces, not a big deal on that. This is theeee cream of the crop top place to NOT go to eat. We walked in expecting to get seated no one seems to notice us about three minutes pass so we head toward a table by the register, only to be told we are not able to sit. We had to all (party of 5) walk up to the cashier and order our food then pay before we are allowed to have a seat. (This will make sense soon) So we order noodles, hibachi steak, hibachi chicken, rainbow rolls, some other forgettable roll, edamame, teriyaki chicken. The edamame was covered in salt and NOT cooked all the way. It was as though they defrosted it in a microwave for like 2 seconds and poured salt over it. Hibachi chicken is basically teriyaki chicken breast cooked on the flat grill. You can taste the lighter fluid before you taste the dry chicken. When you are starving the dry steak hibachi lighter fluid induced dish will be edible to hold you until you. Noodles. Not sure what's up with the word noodles at the two Japanese restraints I have been to , but apparently these noodles are also just plain noodles with a strong lighter fluid flavor. Very strong. Just noodles nothing else. Nada. Noodles and lighter fluid. The rolls are tiny and taste like expired seafood. Very disgusting. Everything is self serve. There are like six wait staff and they all just kinda huddle behind the counter probably waiting for an outburst of agony from disappointed customers. They stare when you go get your drinks. The bathroom was decent but they do not expect little customers in their establishment because their sinks are so high my 5 year old could barely reach. The hibachi bowl was very good but could have used a little less vegetables. The white sauce was also delicious. Okay first off let me say the situation my friends and I called food over the phone and we were very excited so leaving in Greenville you expect rain and well it was down pouring we went in and waited in line and the cashier made an announcement saying that the cash register broke and can't accept card. Well my friends and I still wanted our food and they told us that we had to go to an ATM in order to pay, we expressed that that shouldn't be the case because in some cases the customer is always right. We asked if there was anything that they could do to compensate and they straight up told us no. We asked what would happen to our food and they told us that they would give it to the kitchen staff. Tried this restaurant as I was visiting the Greenville area for a business trip . The place was extremely packed with college students so I assumed it would be a great choice . The things I liked about the place was that the white sauce / shrimp sauce was self pumped and you could get as many as needed with no additional cost, the food came out rather quickly even with a full house waiting . The things I did not like , first off every hibachi place I've ordered from has included sweet carrots with the meal . This restaurant does NOT include carrots with their meals .I asked if I could add carrots and the staff said a charge of .89cents . In retrospect I should have known this was a bad choice considering it was not even on the menu :/ I added the carrots but boy was I disappointed . Apparently when you add carrots it is just chopped up fresh carrots quickly cooked along side the meat and other veggies .(NOT sweet carrots) . It reminded me of the texture of carrots you dip on ranch , needless to say it ruined it a bit for me . It just didn't add that yumminess I'm used too. The meat given on the regular and combo plates was very skimpy . Also to touch back on the shrimp/white sauce, while it was in abundance it tasted like pure mayo so :( no bueno . read more
