Terrible experience. Everything was nasty, the steak, the soup, the rice, the steamed vegetables, the noodles, everything down to sauce, terrible, disgusting atrocity. Keep in mind that I don't like Japanese food.

Wow! Quality, volume, quick service even when they were busy. 5 stars! Fresh veggies and the volume. I couldn't finish my meal!

I ordered filet and shrimp from them via Doordash. They sent me their regular steak which is tiny and hard. Also there was a miscommunication with the sauces, not a big deal on that. But if I pay for filet and shrimp, would be nice to get what I paid for. They usually are pretty alright and fast but today was disappointing.

This is my go to spot for dinning out in Greenville, NC. The food quality is above average, all made fresh to order. It's the most affordable, quick and fresh meal in town. Can't never go wrong with anything you order from here.

Best sushi and hibachi I've had. The employees were nice and food came really fast. i definitely recommend this place to eat.

    Teriyaki Chicken & Hibachi Steak

I was amazed at how fast my food came out. Even with a full house of customers, my food was delivered to me at lightning speed. (When the cashier said my food would be out in a few minutes, he REALLY MEANT IT). I ordered the teriyaki chicken with hibachi steak and I can say that it was worth every penny.

I paid $10+ for hibachi steak and broccoli, just white rice and only got a full plate of rice. This is ridiculous. Never eating here again!

Excellent food and service. High demand so there is a bit of a wait but it's well worth it!

We ordered the Thai Potstickers, the Singapore Rice Noodles with Chicken, and the Sakura Soba Noodles with Steak (both at spice level 2), and everything was exceptional. The Thai Potstickers were perfectly crisp with a savory filling that tasted homemade. The Singapore Rice Noodles were light, aromatic, and full of authentic flavor without being greasy. The Sakura Soba Noodles with Steak were just as impressive -- tender steak, balanced seasoning, and a sauce that tasted like something you'd get at a true mom‑and‑pop Asian kitchen. Spice level 2 had the perfect kick. You can tell this place is run with pride -- fresh ingredients, generous portions, and consistently delicious food. If you're looking for authentic Asian cuisine in Greenville, this family‑owned restaurant should be at the top of your list. Easily one of the best in town.

We stopped in right at opening on a Saturday and the lady who greeted us, I'm assuming the owner, couldn't have been nicer. She was waiting on us and in the kitchen cooking. We ordered spring rolls, bi bim bap with beef and Thai basil with chicken and all were incredibly delicious. The Thai basil chicken is something my wife orders regularly and the depth of flavors in this dish made it one of the best I've ever tried. It was my first time ordering bi bim bap and also thought the flavors were incredible. The portions were huge but I almost managed to finish it because it was so good. We will definitely be back to try other options as good Chinese food is severely lacking in this area.

Service was great, the young lady working the register was sweet and she and I assume it was the owner answered all my questions and were very pleasant and welcoming! The gyoza are some of the best I have had! Absolutely amazing! I would go back just for these dumplings! The general tso chicken has a very yummy sauce and the chicken is white meat not gray/stringy! Some of the bigger pieces were a little chewier than the others, but overall it was very tasty! Nice crispy breading and again, no sketchy mystery meat! The only thing I would want different is fried rice or noodles as a side instead of just white rice. It was cooked well, I'm just not big on plain rice, but mixed with the yummy sauce it was still yummy! And they confirmed the lemongrass chicken is similar to the dish that the previous restaurant had, so I will definitely be back to try that and get some more dumplings!

The server we had was friendly and prompt with bringing food but not too overly pushy with checking on us. We ordered the fried calamari to start and for $9 you get a very large plate full. It was crispy and tasted great. The appetizer offer is so big it could be a full meal. We took advantage of the BOGO specialty rolls and got the Surf & Turf & Paradise rolls. The surf and turf was my personal favorite of the night. The paradise roll was also great. We ordered a spicy crab roll on the side and even thought it is basic, my husband said that was his favorite. Japan Inn really surprised us and after some mediocre sushi experiences in the area, I'm happy to have found somewhere to grab sushi and at such affordable prices. For my husband and I's meal + 2 drinks, it was around $55 and we left full and satisfied. Looking forward to coming back and bringing our family next time they're in town.
