Let me paint a picture here 4 you . It's two days after thanksgiving you're tired of leftovers nobody wants to cook . It's Saturday night and going to a restaurant would mean a 1HR wait for mid food . I hella recommend you hit up your local food truck .for quality fresh food . I order two combinations plate with a side of noodles. Had excellent customer service. I appreciate the place being well lit seeing how the street is dark. . The food was amazing AF with big portions and seasoned just right . Please support your local chef they always out cook a chain restaurant

My husband and I tried this place on Thursday night. The guy was really nice took our orders, gave us each a piece of chocolate and told us it would be 18 minutes until food was ready. We sat back in our car and waited and right at 18 minutes we had hot food. It smelled amazing. The amount of food that you get is incredible! I have eaten dinner and lunch the next day and barely made a dent in my to go dish. I know I could eat another 2 or 3 times easily. I wanted to try the veggies but I will get those on the next trip. This guy deserves your business. We will definitely be back. Thanks Ricardo! God Bless you!

Tried this spot for the first time today & let me tell u it's so bomb! It's like $20 a plate but very well worth it! You get a big amount of food & the flavors of the steak, chicken, rice & vegetables are so on point & delicious! My son even liked it & he is picky as hell. Lol! But it's an Awesome lil spot to get food from. You gotta try it, u won't regret it!

Amazing customer service, the food is delicious, it's freshly cooked. We were looking for a spot to have a nice date, and this came up on yelp, we went and felt it was God sent when we seen my favorite verse on the truck; Jeremiah 29:11. Definitely recommend!

    Garlic noodles, so good!!!

Portions are Big!!! You get your moneys worth here. The food truck is parked in the driveway of a house, let me say this will be my new go to spot. The owner is so nice, he takes cash, credit card and Zelle. Food is so good & portions are so big this is more than one meal for me.

The fish tasted fresh, portions were good, and everything came out pretty quick even though they were busy. All you can eat is the way to go n We ordered a mix of rolls, plus some appetizers, and nothing missed. The sushi had a good balance--not too much rice, not overloaded with sauce, just clean flavors. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. The place itself is pretty casual, but that actually adds to the vibe. If you're in the area and want reliable sushi without overpaying, this is definitely a spot worth checking out. I'd come back.

The sear was perfect, and the green onion topping and sauce, along with the small slice portions made this easy and fun to eat. Definitely try this in your first round! 5/5 - Shooting Star (front) - Very savory and delicious! If you like the cajun flavor with the spicy aioli sauce, this won't disappoint. The crunch from the tempura shrimp with the texture profile of the crab and rice makes this a very satisfying roll! 5/5 - Carpaccio - This was actually one of the best carpaccio dishes I had gotten, and I think it is due to the seasoning. You only get one order per person which is typical of other AYCE sushi places, but definitely something to savor! 5/5 - Bluefin Tuna - This is limited to one order per customer, but it was the first time I had eaten a bluefin tuna at an AYCE restaurant that tasted like bluefin tuna from Japan. This is more toro than chutoro/otoro, however it did have that distinct bluefin tuna taste. Impressed! 4/5 - Dynamite - Interesting baked roll dish. Served under a small flame that dies out, it was a very savory, easy-to-eat dish with chopsticks. However, it felt a bit overcooked by the end of the flame, which understandably can be hit-or-miss. Definitely try it out, as this kind of dish is typically rare in AYCE restaurants. 5/5 - Del Rosa and East Highland - These are both the same No Rice Roll just with different wraps. The fish serving was generous and we were impressed! The sauce complemented both perfectly. 4/5 - X-Girlfriend and X-Boyfriend - Pretty much the same No Rice Roll but with different fish. Kind of tastes the same from the other No Rice Rolls so I would just get one order to try it out. 3/5 - O.M.G., Pizza, and SBD Hill - About the same flavor profile with the creamy sauce with the seafood that is placed on top of California rolls. You can probably do with just one of these rolls whichever appeals to you. Of course, it is not exactly the same, but we didn't really care to figure out which was which as we were eating it. 2/5 - Flying Dragon - Was not particularly impressed with this dish. There was a lot of rice served for a thin slice of eel and white fish. The sliced onion was OK, and it did not seem to complement the dish significantly. It seemed more like a separate item placed on top of the roll. 3/5 - Cajun Tuna Nigiri - Decent tuna nigiri. I thought the slices were very thin, so the sear actually went through the whole fish rather than just at the surface which would have made a two-texture profile bite. However, it just seemed dry due to the seared thin slice. 3/5 - Cajun Salmon Nigiri - Same issue with the cajun tuna nigiri. It was seasoned well with the cajun, but the thin slice of the salmon made the sear more of a "cook" rather than a seared surface. 4/5 - Regular Salmon Nigiri - Typical salmon nigiri flavor with regular portion of rice. I think it is beaten out my other AYCE sushi restaurants that are generous with their fish portion and provide minimal rice. 1/5 - Shrimp Boat - This dish was very disappointing. While it is advertised as shrimp with crab meat, our whole group found that it was an overwhelming amount of crab meat and could barely pick out the shrimp. Difficult to finish especially in the 2nd half of our meal. Granted due to being a tempura roll, it was served later. 1/5 - Lobster Ball - This dish was also disappointing. While it is advertised as lobster with crab meat, we barely found a difference between this and the shrimp boat aside from shape. Even with the pictures, the size was larger than we expected. Difficult to finish especially in the 2nd half of our meal. Granted due to being a tempura roll, it was served later. 3/5 - Calamari - Huge portions but could have been salted more. Good crunch but I would hesitate on finishing this portion because you might get full! 3/5 - Shrimp Tempura - We ordered 4 orders of this and only received one order (2 pieces). Decent fry and could also be salted a bit more.

The noodles are made fresh in-house, and you can really tell from the texture -- they had a great chew and held up well in the broth. The tonkotsu broth was rich and flavorful without feeling overly heavy or greasy. The chashu was tender and well-seasoned, and the soft-boiled egg and wood ear mushrooms rounded everything out nicely. I added a little chili paste for extra heat, and it worked perfectly. The Spicy Garlic Edamame was much better than I expected for a side dish. The edamame was cooked just right, still firm and plump, and coated in a flavorful garlic sauce with a nice kick. We also ordered the Gyoza, which had a beautifully crispy bottom and juicy filling inside. Simple but very well executed. The Pork Rice Bowl was huge and easily shareable. The sweet and savory sauce paired really well with the rice, making it a great comfort-food option alongside the ramen. Overall, everything tasted fresh and well prepared, and the portions were generous. Definitely a spot I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.

Kaz Ramen used to be our favorite, but ever since they went 24 hours, the quality and flavor just hasn't been the same. Ramen Koko in Highland is still pretty good, although I think the presentation and service could use some work. Sosogu Ramen in Redlands is another solid spot. After trying all of them, Ramen Jo's tonkotsu broth stands above the rest. It's rich, creamy, deeply flavorful, and the kind of broth you don't want to leave behind. So why only 4 stars instead of 5? The protein was the only thing holding this place back. The chashu and other beef in our bowls were overcooked and chewy. Instead of being tender and practically melting in your mouth, they took a bit of work to eat. If they can improve the quality of their protein, this would easily be a 5-star ramen spot. We'll definitely be back because that tonkotsu broth alone is worth the visit, and we're hoping the protein is better next time.

So, of course, I look on Yelp and came across Nko Niko sushi, which is regarded as one of the best sushi spots in Redlands. I actually went as far as double checking on reddit and the votes were definitely in! This place seemed legit so I had to try it. It's located in a shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking. There are several restaurants in the area, while Niko Niko is tucked away near the water fountains out front. As I arrived, they quickly sat me at the bar area and my typical rainbow roll and I tried their snow cone roll. The rolls were so good and the fish was fresh! I loved the sweet sauce that was added to the snow cone roll. After about 20 mins, the chef, who's name is Yaser, started asking me what my favorite fish is and why I like it. I told him Albacore and he instantly makes me some concoction with ponzu sauce which was fire. He then asked me if I like salmon and I told him yes and he makes me a seared salmon roll with orange sauce and pepper. By this time I'm stuffed but enjoying this experience. He made going to a sushi restaurant interesting again like when I first tried sushi. We start talking about Japan and he ask me if I ever had salmon skin. I tell him absolutely not and that when I bake salmon I usually take the skin off. He then tells me that I HAVE to try a salmon skin handroll so I figured I should just go with it. My mind was blown!! I actually like salmon skin lol. It was so good! Overall, I had an amazing experience at Niko Niko and Chef Yaser. I left him a generous tip for the experience and he changed the way I will forever dine at a sushi bar now.
