The food was great! My sister gets the all you can eat! I like to pick a favorite roll and veggie tempura. It's always busy here. I wish I could have given them all the stars but they take so long to give you service. We waited 30mins just to get the bill. Although they are very very friendly it's hard to get consistent attention for extra napkins and placing more all you can eat orders in.

The food was ok. Not as great as I remember. The rice ration to fish was too much. I prefer less rice. The service was still great and it's a chill spot for dinner. I still love Miguel Style but the fish was so thin compared to the serving of rice underneath.

I've been coming to this location for 7 years. The service used to be a lot better. Also, they didn't used to charge for sauces but now they do. The food still remains delicious. Amazing Roll "Miguel's Style" and Stuffed Jalapeños is my favorite.

I'm going to just leave this here and you decide if it worth it. Gave me ponzu n not eel sauce

Both were 10 out of 10. Service was great. I came on a Friday around 4pm. Solo date away from the kids lol. I enjoyed myself.

Came here for CSU SB orient day before cuz I saw it had "good reviews" ..Service was good , ordered the crunch roll w/ scream cheese , spider roll, n dragon. Seems like waitress didn't get the part when I said crunch w/ cream cheese added. However I request to the guy who brought it out and he corrected it, I apologized for the confusion I guess. He was very polite about it and didn't seem to mind to make to correct which was good and made me happy. Avoid spider too skimp on portion proteins, too much rice and filler all straight cut. It was the worst spider roll I had on my life. And I try every sushi spot I come across almost. The soft shell crab was about paper thin as a shrimps crunchy tail without the meat. Crunch was not that crunchy , but taste wise Dragon and crunch were decent but Don't get the buffet $ 37 USD.. and you will get over charged if you don't finish one roll.. I wish the worker explained the buffet rules system on not finishing food result to being charge fines . Extremely hard to get money worth when they skimp with rice..Ambience is more like a fast food joint than a sushi spot but food was okay. It looks like the inside of a Subway that was remodeled slightly for this restaurant. Not horrible taste wise it's just edible somewhat depends on the what you order, I've had worse but please avoid the buffet unless you plan to eat till u feel sick on OVERLOADED rice and paper thin proteins such as soft shell situation explained. I had a good time until they mentioned they would charge me for the left over when there was about one half roll left , she mentioned it was about charged for half a roll. Then my parents flipped out about being over charged. I reccomend just doing A-La-Carte to avoid their drama rules about unfinished buffet leftovers..This place is mid at best honestly, but it's not bad for a spot around here in the middle of nowhere like San Bernardino.

Sushi Miguel's is located in Colton. There is limited parking spots to the east and west of the building. This spot gets extremely busy so be prepared for a wait during peak times. Inside you'll find all low top tables/booths and a small bar top section. We have been coming for years because we discovered being able to order our sushi "Miguel's style" (adds pickled onion, chili oil and spicy ponzu sauce). It creates a fusion food that is full of flavor and really gives it that California flair ! Service is always friendly but can be a bit slow due to how busy it gets so try to get your order in all at once each time (food, refills, napkins, anything extra needed). If you're asking for something new every time the waitress comes you'll delay your service.

Full review @itsamandachamberlain Came here looking for a…read moresolid sushi spot and honestly didn't expect it to hit like this. The fish tasted fresh, portions were good, and everything came out pretty quick even though they were busy. All you can eat is the way to go n We ordered a mix of rolls, plus some appetizers, and nothing missed. The sushi had a good balance--not too much rice, not overloaded with sauce, just clean flavors. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. The place itself is pretty casual, but that actually adds to the vibe. If you're in the area and want reliable sushi without overpaying, this is definitely a spot worth checking out. I'd come back.

Kind and decently fast service. Though the menu says "Sushi/Nigiri", they only serve nigiri. It was…read morea nice touch that we received dessert on the house, which was a matcha ice cream! 6/5 - Sexy Salmon (back) - Savory and delicious, and the star of our meal. The sear was perfect, and the green onion topping and sauce, along with the small slice portions made this easy and fun to eat. Definitely try this in your first round! 5/5 - Shooting Star (front) - Very savory and delicious! If you like the cajun flavor with the spicy aioli sauce, this won't disappoint. The crunch from the tempura shrimp with the texture profile of the crab and rice makes this a very satisfying roll! 5/5 - Carpaccio - This was actually one of the best carpaccio dishes I had gotten, and I think it is due to the seasoning. You only get one order per person which is typical of other AYCE sushi places, but definitely something to savor! 5/5 - Bluefin Tuna - This is limited to one order per customer, but it was the first time I had eaten a bluefin tuna at an AYCE restaurant that tasted like bluefin tuna from Japan. This is more toro than chutoro/otoro, however it did have that distinct bluefin tuna taste. Impressed! 4/5 - Dynamite - Interesting baked roll dish. Served under a small flame that dies out, it was a very savory, easy-to-eat dish with chopsticks. However, it felt a bit overcooked by the end of the flame, which understandably can be hit-or-miss. Definitely try it out, as this kind of dish is typically rare in AYCE restaurants. 5/5 - Del Rosa and East Highland - These are both the same No Rice Roll just with different wraps. The fish serving was generous and we were impressed! The sauce complemented both perfectly. 4/5 - X-Girlfriend and X-Boyfriend - Pretty much the same No Rice Roll but with different fish. Kind of tastes the same from the other No Rice Rolls so I would just get one order to try it out. 3/5 - O.M.G., Pizza, and SBD Hill - About the same flavor profile with the creamy sauce with the seafood that is placed on top of California rolls. You can probably do with just one of these rolls whichever appeals to you. Of course, it is not exactly the same, but we didn't really care to figure out which was which as we were eating it. 2/5 - Flying Dragon - Was not particularly impressed with this dish. There was a lot of rice served for a thin slice of eel and white fish. The sliced onion was OK, and it did not seem to complement the dish significantly. It seemed more like a separate item placed on top of the roll. 3/5 - Cajun Tuna Nigiri - Decent tuna nigiri. I thought the slices were very thin, so the sear actually went through the whole fish rather than just at the surface which would have made a two-texture profile bite. However, it just seemed dry due to the seared thin slice. 3/5 - Cajun Salmon Nigiri - Same issue with the cajun tuna nigiri. It was seasoned well with the cajun, but the thin slice of the salmon made the sear more of a "cook" rather than a seared surface. 4/5 - Regular Salmon Nigiri - Typical salmon nigiri flavor with regular portion of rice. I think it is beaten out my other AYCE sushi restaurants that are generous with their fish portion and provide minimal rice. 1/5 - Shrimp Boat - This dish was very disappointing. While it is advertised as shrimp with crab meat, our whole group found that it was an overwhelming amount of crab meat and could barely pick out the shrimp. Difficult to finish especially in the 2nd half of our meal. Granted due to being a tempura roll, it was served later. 1/5 - Lobster Ball - This dish was also disappointing. While it is advertised as lobster with crab meat, we barely found a difference between this and the shrimp boat aside from shape. Even with the pictures, the size was larger than we expected. Difficult to finish especially in the 2nd half of our meal. Granted due to being a tempura roll, it was served later. 3/5 - Calamari - Huge portions but could have been salted more. Good crunch but I would hesitate on finishing this portion because you might get full! 3/5 - Shrimp Tempura - We ordered 4 orders of this and only received one order (2 pieces). Decent fry and could also be salted a bit more.

So, of course, I look on Yelp and came across Nko Niko sushi, which is regarded as one of the best sushi spots in Redlands. I actually went as far as double checking on reddit and the votes were definitely in! This place seemed legit so I had to try it. It's located in a shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking. There are several restaurants in the area, while Niko Niko is tucked away near the water fountains out front. As I arrived, they quickly sat me at the bar area and my typical rainbow roll and I tried their snow cone roll. The rolls were so good and the fish was fresh! I loved the sweet sauce that was added to the snow cone roll. After about 20 mins, the chef, who's name is Yaser, started asking me what my favorite fish is and why I like it. I told him Albacore and he instantly makes me some concoction with ponzu sauce which was fire. He then asked me if I like salmon and I told him yes and he makes me a seared salmon roll with orange sauce and pepper. By this time I'm stuffed but enjoying this experience. He made going to a sushi restaurant interesting again like when I first tried sushi. We start talking about Japan and he ask me if I ever had salmon skin. I tell him absolutely not and that when I bake salmon I usually take the skin off. He then tells me that I HAVE to try a salmon skin handroll so I figured I should just go with it. My mind was blown!! I actually like salmon skin lol. It was so good! Overall, I had an amazing experience at Niko Niko and Chef Yaser. I left him a generous tip for the experience and he changed the way I will forever dine at a sushi bar now. If you're in the area, please stop at Niko for some fresh tasty sushi and an excellent sushi experience with sushi chef's that know what they're doing. OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros

Unfortunately, the service experience started off a bit disjointed, as we felt noticeably rushed by our waitress to place our order. When it comes to the menu, be aware that there are no sushi rolls without cream cheese. This is a significant limitation that makes selecting food difficult if you prefer a cleaner, more traditional sushi profile, effectively forcing you to pivot toward the mariscos. Despite those constraints, the kitchen generally delivers excellent flavor balance and solid execution: Tuna Tostada: A standout. It's a simple dish, but the flavor profile is fantastic, showcasing an exceptionally well-balanced mix of spice and lemon citrus. Aguachiles Ranch: Another strong mariscos dish. It packed a great amount of spice with a highly enjoyable, vibrant flavor profile. Fish & Shrimp Tacos: The kitchen's frying technique was spot-on. Both proteins were perfectly battered, and the portion sizes were generous. Aguachilito Roll: A bit of a mixed bag. The accompanying salsa negra was absolutely perfect, hitting that ideal harmony of lime and spice. However, the technique on the roll itself fell short--the sushi rice was noticeably hard on several of the cuts. Kids Meal: The chicken nuggets were solid. The toddler ate without a single complaint, which is always a win. Strong flavor profiles, perfectly battered tacos, and excellent mariscos, but the overall experience is held back slightly by rushed service, hard sushi rice, and a frustrating overreliance on cream cheese in the sushi rolls.
