We were honestly surprised by this place. We didn't know what to think at first. The reviews were decent, and as we walked in, it was fairly plain, there wasn't a lot of staff helping out--just one guy at the register and a lone couple sitting down. We ordered thinking they were open for another hour, but we had accidentally come right at closing. They were super accommodating and told us to stay. The food came out hot and fresh, and all the meat was cooked to perfection. It honestly tasted just like the hibachis where you sit in front of the grill, but way more affordable. We got the chicken and steak combo to share and the steak was so tender and juicy, im glad it was cooked correctly and not dry like most other hibachi places. We also got a side of noodles (they are garlic noodles!) so very addicting, just keep that in mind if you love garlic. The veggies were seasoned well and not soggy or salty. They also have crispy dumplings the owner was so kind to give us for the wait since the blacktop had to rewarm. Stopped by for lunch today and I'm very glad I did! I had the egg rolls and steak n chicken combo with fried rice. All 3 were delicious! The egg rolls were not very greasy and cooked just the way I liked them. The steak and chicken were also cooked to perfection and went great with the yum yum sauce. Had to try this place for something new. Fresh made food for sure. We both ordered the hibachi combos. If your eating in be ready for plastic plate and plastic ware and very sterile ambience. When I come back I will get it to go . Be sure to get condiment of chili oil to spice it up. Some of the reviews say it's priced well, I think it is mid range for entrees from $12 to $24 but plenty of food. Chicken was tasty, so was the steak and it was cooked to the right temperature. All the veg was cooked and seasoned well and the fried rice was great! Sooo yummy and so affordable!!! Just over $20 for a steak plate is insane. The employees have been so friendly the two times I've visited.

Way too overpriced. Portions are not worth the cost of the food. The service was good no fault of the cashier/server. I got extra shrimp which they said couldn't add to the main order and I would have to order it as a side. I did that and it costed 8 dollars. For 4 pieces of shrimp 8 dollars is crazy especially when I just wanted it on my main plate. 8 dollars is almost half the cost of the shrimp hibachi platter and on that platter I got 8 shrimps, fried rice and vegetables. Why is 4 shrimps costing half of the main plate which has a whole lot more. read more

It had really great service! Except the zebra was unexpected at the coffee pot. It ejaculated everywhere. Ambiance is lovely nonetheless.

The combination plates are priced fairly and very tasty. The "express" in the restaurant name is not instantaneous...but they do make it quick and convenient; as the food is made freshly and only takes 10 minutes or so. Ordered for delivery. Food was great, portions sizes were better than expected, if I'm being honest. The chicken was surprisingly good-- visually, I had expected it to be pretty dry. Steak was pretty run-of-the mill, but tasty. If I could make one recommendation, it would be to offer some steak options for a premium. I don't mind sirloin in general but there's something about a good strip steak or filet with hibachi and I wouldn't mind paying extra for it. Rice was extremely flavorful. Veggies were great. It doesn't say it on the menu, but yummy sauce is included. We ordered extra because we didn't know it was included and didn't want to assume. Delivery was a little delayed and one callout: it is hard to beat how hot/fresh the food is in a traditional hibachi setting, but given the price/convenience of this place, it's worth the trade-off if you aren't going for a special occasion and need the show/ambiance. read more

I have been here three times for lunch, but my wife had never been. So, I took my wife for dinner and she got the Hibachi Shrimp Entree and I got the Hibachi Steak Entree and we ordered an appetizer of Garlic Butter Edamame as well. The Edamame were wonderfully seasoned and perfectly prepared. The Entrees were BOTH delicious (as we ended up sharing) and both were prepared to just the right temperature. We both LOVED the veggies, the variety, the proper way they were cooked and how they were just right in their amount of sauce. The service has been very polite and courteous, timely and clean each time I have been here, but the server is not very outgoing (not necessarily a bad thing, just kinda a quiet guy). The ambience is nothing to write home about - it is fairly plain, but very clean and comfortable at the same time. This is NOT your fancy Japanese Steakhouse with table side Hibachi - it is a step down from that, but you will still love your meal. The portions were plentiful and the sauces were spot on.
