Black and blue
Matt S.

If there was a brunch ambassador for downtown Littleton, it would definitely be Grande Station as it's a highly visited and trendy restaurant on Main Street. Extensive breakfast and lunch menu offering the usual sandwiches, burgers, salads, and breakfast creations. We ordered a handful of dishes including some lunch and breakfast items and everything was just OK. The black and blue and southwest chicken salads were good except for our proteins which were fairly disappointing. On the breakfast side of the order, they had a fumble on a diet restriction order and the crab cake Benedict looked good. Service was great and had a replacement dish out fairly quickly. Dining room is a bit small, but on nice days have additional seating on the patio.

Food: Albuquerque Bowl will Green Chili. Best green chili I've had, with LOTS of meat. Rueben: Excellent Service from Aida at the bar was superb. 1/2 off bottles of wine! Yes I'll buy one! She also makes a mean Blue Hawaiian! Ambiance is relaxed and casual. Great outdoor seating.

Southern benedict. I chose the greens but you can also choose potatoes too!

Great service with absolutely delicious food! The ambiance is down to earth and inviting. When we were first shown our table we thought it was strange because it was away from everyone in an empty room. After we were reseated the experience kept elevating bit by bit. Such a great experience! Friendly and upbeat waitress along with the wait staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the energy while catching up with family! Oh yeah...and the food! I ordered a southern benedict which had a piece of sausage on top of the muffin smothered in hollandaise. Perfect! However, the Colorado bowl someone at our table ordered looked decadent! They finished it. Admittedly there was a bit of food envy but that's why another trip is certainly in the works!

We went here the Friday after Christmas and were happy to have a reservation as it was pretty busy! I ordered their holiday gin fizz drink and it was absolutely delicious. We ordered the prime rib French dip, bison and green chili tacos, bison pot roast, lamb lollipops, and lemon caper salmon. Everything was very tasty! Unfortunately the bison and green chili tacos did end up coming out with sour cream on them despite clarifying when ordering this was on the side and had to be sent back and remade, but this fix came very quick, so I wasn't too behind in eating after everyone else started. The environment is interesting, it's not really what I expected, and I do wish we had been sat in the enclosed patio area as that was all decorated for Christmas and much more visually stimulating than the inside.

Dang... we have been here many times before and today the food was a huge let down. The hollendaise was so watery and there is zero flavor. The breakfast potato's don't have a speck of seasoning on them, not even salt or pepper. Altogether just incredibly bland and could have made something more flavorful at home. The cinnamon roll was the star.

Dinner on a Saturday evening and was able to get outdoor seating fairly quick to enjoy a breeze. We ordered a artichoke dip for an appetizer. The crisp on the cheese was a plus on the slides of toaster bread. For my main, I went with the NY strip steak. The steak was tender abd the sides paired well. Overall, would definitely return to try other dishes.

Excellent food and service. Good coffee drinks as well. But we really enjoyed the Colorado bowl one ordered with bison one ordered fillet. My husband loved, loved, loved the fillet Colorado bowl. The meat was extremely tender. My Daughter-in-law ordered the Maryland eggs Benedict and the crab-cakes were good. I loved my Sonny Benny with salmon and capers. It was excellent.

UPDATE! When the girls and I were in search of a spot for breakfast or brunch in between all of us, Grande Station came to the rescue! A lot has changed since my initial review - in that: - the kitchen has expanded (creating an awkward layout exposing said kitchen to everyone to enters) - the color scheme has changed throughout the dining room - the vibe feels more upscale, yet relaxed - the patio got a makeover and now looks like something out of a Parisian dream - and menu got a facelift! The girls and I were pleasantly surprised at the wide variety of menu offerings - featuring both breakfast and lunch - that had our mouths watering! I ultimately opted for the Crab Cake and Arugula salad (and a side of parm truffle fries!) which came with the most delicious and light Champagne Vinegarette! Not only was my meal gorgeous, but delicious too! One sister ordered a breakfast sandwich that was as large as her head - yummy too! - while the other opted for the Ruben, which was piled high with meat and sourcrout ! YUM!! We washed our meals down with espresso and freshly brewed iced tea - and chatted the morning away - without feeling like we had to turn over the table at any point! The service is great and prices are reasonable for the area and portions. Everything about this little spot has improved and worth a trip when in downtown Littleton!

Pranced Pub Decor

This Grande Station: Prancer's Pub is an awesome Christmas pop-up bar for Littleton! The festive decorations are fun and thoughtfully done, creating such a warm, cozy holiday atmosphere the moment you walk in. And bonus it was still warm despite being outside on their "enclosed" patio. The service was fantastic from start to finish. Very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the lemon caper salmon, walleye, shrimp scampi, and pot roast. Delicious! The Christmas-themed drinks were awesome. Very creative, festive, and perfectly made. Between the amazing service, cozy vibe, and excellent food and drinks, this is a must-visit spot during the holiday season. We'll definitely be back!

Walleye with vegetables and mashed potatoes

Grande Station is a great dinner spot that my mom and I found when we were staying Littleton for my sister's wedding! My mom's walleye was absolutely delicious and my crab cake salad was wonderful - really liked the vinaigrette they chose as salad dressing. The wine was also delicious and reasonably priced for a 9 ounce pour. We really enjoyed sitting outside and people watching on Main Street, and would love to come back the next time we're in Colorado.

During my June, 2024 vacation to Colorado, my friend, Felixx, invited Alyssa and me to meet up with…read morehim for after dinner drinks at the Lazy Greyhound on Saturday, the 22nd. Wow, I didn't expect to be blown away by a bar! The Lazy Greyhound is not your typical watering hole - the establishment is a chic speakeasy-style cocktail lounge inspired by the classic British gentlemen's clubs of the 18th and 19th centuries. Nestled within downtown Littleton on Main Street, the location is a hidden gem amidst numerous breweries. After easily finding free street parking nearby, we arrived shortly before 8:30 PM. Entry was like stepping into a different world through an unassuming exterior - inside, the dimly lit room's timeless elegance with Chesterfield leather sofas was softly illuminated by the three stained glass pieces above the bar, one of which depicts the venue's namesake. The tasteful décor adds a touch of class and sophistication to the intimate ambiance and handsome atmosphere. After we were granted to enter past the red velvet rope at the front door, we grabbed a seat at one of the Chesterfields. The comfortable lounge seating made for a cozy spot for relaxed socializing and the music volume was perfectly pleasant for personal conversations. The setting was casual, but refined, with vintage touches. My kind of place, for sure. To complement the stylish environment, The Lazy Greyhound offers an extensive menu featuring a unique blend of timeless classic cocktails, "OLD DOGS/TRIED & TRUE CLASSICS," and creatively crafted modern drinks, "NEW TRICKS/SEASONAL CREATIONS," as well as beer, wine and "SMALL BITES/SHAREABLE SNACKS." Remarkable service also adds to the delightful experience. Our server, Zach/Zack/Zac (sp?), was warm, friendly and genuinely engaging - he took the time to guide us through the impressive menu and was eager to offer beverage suggestions based on our preferences. I was looking for something with an egg white foamy topping, so he suggested the AMARETTO SOUR, IMPROVED ($15) which was velvety and the signature almond sweetness was not overpowering. Alyssa went with the ALWAYS ON CALL ($15), a deliciously creamy coffee-forward mixed drink. We also ordered the PINK SQUIRREL which Zach/Zack/Zac comped for us due to the long wait. The retro, indulgent mixed drink tickled us pink with its hue and creamy, sweet and nutty flavour. Serving the PINK SQUIRREL on the house to us reflected The Lazy Greyhound's commitment to customer care and satisfaction. Felixx ordered the yummy MEAT & CHEESE BOARD which was served with thoughtful presentation. True story: I super suck with electronics and am practically blind without my eyeglasses, so I accidentally undertipped Zach/Zack/Zac while using the handheld payment system. When I saw the receipt back at Alyssa's house, I was horrified to see that I hadn't tipped him what he deserved. I returned to The Lazy Greyhound on the 24th just before 11 PM. Even though they were closed and the doors were locked, I knocked until someone answered so I could personally give cash to Zach/Zack/Zac to make up for my mistake. He was very gracious and thankful. The Lazy Greyhound immediately earned its spot as a favourite bar of mine through their intimate, speakeasy-style atmosphere combined with their innovative concoctions and welcoming service. They stand out as a premier destination for a high-quality, relaxing and memorable evening.

Each season they rotate their specials and their spring drinks are in! I actually prefer their last couple specials compared to this time around but they're still good! We ordered the equinox, master of the house and old fashioned. The old fashioned is pretty boozy but an easy one to drink, it's your basic old fashion but tasty Master of the House sounded interesting, but I guess I'm not really a fan of spicy drinks (even though I love spicy foods). I ended finishing it but my friends enjoyed it! The equinox is a light and refreshing drink, which could benefit from a little more lemon (or the lemon juice was on the lighter side that day). Overall it's a spot we frequent when visiting our best friends in Littleton. We love the quaint and Victorian atmosphere and he staff has always treated us well.

Yelp's weekly suggestions are some spot-on and timely. Had it not been for one of them I recently…read morereceived, I don't think I would discover this hidden bar. Its overall chicness in a spacious lounge-style room immediately cooled me down once I arrived (on the day I visited after work, the temperature outside was soaring in upper 80's.) The time was around 4:45pm. If I am not mistaken, their happy hour is 3-5pm. I thought I was in the middle of the HH rush but there were still plenty of seatings available and yet the place was nowhere near empty. And yet, I found just the right spot so I would be away from all the chatters emitting from the people mainly sat at the bar. The selections for wine (red and white) as well as the tap beers are quite the variety. During the HH time, the drinks are only $5 for beer on tap, well mules, wells spirits and any wine on tap. For a chic/elegant/upscale place such as this place, this pricing offer is extremely generous. I simply couldn't think of anything other than refreshing cold white wine so after getting a little suggestion from my wonderful waiter, I went with the Angeline Sauvignon Blanc (the regular price is $12 so I saved $7.) As much as I am a wine person, I don't go by the rigid rules. White win should generally be served between 45°F and 55°F (7°C to 13°C) and yet at home I chill my (white) wine in the freezer for a bit so it will be super cold. This is a must for me. And to my surprise, when they served me the Sauvignon Blanc it was pretty close to the super chill temperature I am used to. As if they read my mind, I was quite surprised and happy with the cold crisp white wine. It was a quick stop to have a little "after work" cocktail on the way home so I didn't get any food and yet that crisp chilled white wine I was served instantaneously made me a big fan of this cocktail lounge. When I asked my waiter when the place opened. He said it opened in 2019. I simply couldn't believe it. If it's been around for this long but the fact that I recently heard about it stunned me. And if I am not mistaken, the waiter said that another location is about to open in a different area in the Denver metro. It's nice to know that this business is thriving. Good for them.

They had $15/hr for unlimited play as of this writing and our party of four certainly got our money's worth. It wasn't crowded at all on a Monday at 1pm (unsurprisingly) and we kind of took over the place. An older gentleman was working the whole place, and he made some surprisingly good cocktails for what is basically an arcade. It's not huge, but a decent size, with two floors. A few machines on the first floor was off limits for unlimited play, but everything else was fair game. Our favorites were the South Park (natch) and Iron Maiden machines, along with an oddball non-pinball machine called Ice Cold Beer which was simple but quite challenging.
