a bag of food wrapped in plastic

There was a very long hair tired into our bag of food. Very nasty. Food: it's not the absolute worst hibachi but for the price, atmosphere, service (did not take it well when I asked for my steak to be cooked to medium well instead of medium), taste of food and wait time you could go to Tokyo and have a nicer experience. A lot of people seem to visit this place for to go orders, so it's all about your decision To Express Or Not To Express. Hair is still a problem. (Reddish hair) The portions are a 10/10. No ginger was a disappointment.

The service was really good, it's mostly a take out type place but there are a few seats, real nice place the food tasted amazing, the chicken literally melted in our mouths. It's also one of the only places in BR I've found that has actual yumyum sauce. I won't be getting fried rice from anywhere else again!

Extremely friendly staff and amazing food!! When I walked in I was immediately greeted and the nice lady even asked how my exams were going! I ordered the hibachi fried rice triple combo and it was so delicious! So much food/meat for only $12! I will 100% be going back. Great job guys! (disclaimer: I took a few bites of my food before taking the picture... the container was filled to the brim!!)

This place was pretty good for what it was. It's a hole-in-the-wall restaurant with nice people working. I grabbed a lychee marble soda from the cooler but it was missing the top part you use to push the marble so they gave me another one on the house. I ordered the hibachi chicken lunch and I got it with the clear soup and fried rice. I also ordered some pan-fried pork gyoza. The gyoza was good. It was different than I usually have. The dough wrapper was noticeably thicker but it still tasted good. The hibachi chicken was good but it was a very small portion. The fried rice was alright - nothing too fancy. The clear soup was good too. This place is a generally fine place to go if others are closed.

Came here to pick up some dinner my last night visiting town and I was so pleased. I only paid around $20 for all this food and it all tasted great. And one of the workers even ran out after my friend and I when he realized he accidentally packaged a wrong box in her bag. He fixed it, re-bagged it, and thanked us. She could've easily left with incorrect food, but he made sure we didn't. Much appreciated.

One of the best new food places around LSU. This place has such big portions for a super reasonable price. One order can last 2 servings. Hibachi orders also come with soup and salad!! Good place for a takeout dinner night.

Combo hibachi, sans chicken. There were three shrimp total, but I ate two before I remembered to take a photo!

Food arrived hot and quickly. It was delicious. There were very large portions. Each plate could feed 2 people.

Nothing Xpress about Hibachi Xpress... took 50 mins to get food when there was no one in front of me. No respect for time whatsoever.

Enjoyed my visit here for happy hour. We ordered the Rib Stack, Hot Honey Wings, Veggie Fried Rice,…read moreHot Honey Chicken Bao Bun, and Crispy Fish Bao Bun. Overall, everything was good. The standout for me was the veggie fried rice. It had great flavor, and I'd honestly come back for that alone. The Snake Wrangler drink was also a favorite. The only downside was the hot honey. It was very light on both the wings and the bao bun, so the flavor didn't come through as much as expected. Service was efficient and attentive. It's a nice, quaint spot with a cozy patio and indoor seating. Still a solid happy hour option, and I'd definitely return.

Started with hot sake and crispy pig ears. Perfection as always. I tried the new moon fire…read moredumplings...no steam or heat coming from them upon arrival. Try one and they are stone cold but good flavor. I asked Courtney the server if they were meant to be served room temperature (first time having so wasn't Sure). She takes the whole bowl. A nice little bit later my bowl is returned just as my tikka masala queso Is arriving. From the looks of my bowl and the broth it was nuked. Heated in the microwave which was annoying bc I wanted to try these fresh for the first time and also more importantly I ordered them with intentions of eating 2 now and taking the other 3 to go so I could enjoy my queso there. Dumplings can't and shouldn't reheated multiple times over and especially not even once at the restaurant that's serving them. I was honestly just hoping they would have dropped a fresh hot spoon or two of the broth : sauce they were in. Very upsetting for the evening because I was excited to try something new
