Very clearly stated shrimp AND vegetables

My ordered arrived incomplete from Uber Eats. I ordered shrimp and vegetables and received only 7pcs of shrimp in a styrofoam container. Nothing else. Called the store and was told on "their end" they could only see "shrimp" . However on my end it clearly states "shrimp and vegetables". I took a photo. The manager Jane suggested we bring the item back and they exchange for the correct item. WHY, WHYY would you suggest this as a MANAGER if I had the food DELIVERED?! I even offered to get a credit (of the unused portion) for future purchase if I decided to eat there again and was told No. I mentioned clearly there is a problem with their system in correlation with Uber Eats. All I received was attitude for response. Jane is racist, this is not the initial despicable encounter I have had with her. I stopped frequenting solely because of her poor hospitality and attitude towards paying customers. How she still has a manager position there after all these years I cannot fathom. If I were a different ethnicity she would have offered a better resolution. I tell everyone to stay away from this establishment.

We tried thrips place for late lunch on Saturday. It was between lunch and dinner so no one was inside. We did order a box set and was pleasantly surprised. Fried rice and steak was really good. Tempura was on the heavier side. Sushi were small but pretty tasty. Plenty of parking and room inside (as I mentioned it was in between time). Not bad, but I would not go here just for sushi but also Hibachi or teppan yaki, which seemed pretty good too. The store didn't seemed to have sign that says 'open', but enough people we're leaving it. It's decent place you can try.

Went to lunch at Hello Tokyo for the hibachi lunch. The Salmon hibachi was delicious. I forgo my vegetables to have half rice and half noodles. My lunch date had the chicken hibachi. The lunch portion size was very filling at a reasonable price.

The food and service was amazing. Sorry for this pic. I git two rolls and it was so good I only got a pic at the end.

The swerves and food was amazing. Place was clean and all workers were well kept. No cell phones out.

The first time I came here, it was for the hibachi show. After that, I got into the sushi and was instantly hooked. The LSU roll here is the best sushi for any newcomer before delving into the raw stuff. The majority of the sushi here is worth the money, although there is a lot on the menu; so, choose carefully.

Best sushi/hibachi stop in the Gonzales area. Most reasonably priced as well. Our server, Jasmine, was very attentive and kind!

It's good food. But putting a hot meal in a to go bag on top of cold sushi ruins the sushi. They used to separate the meals.

We ordered the vegetable spring rolls they had very little filling, had an odd flavor from the oil, but were very crispy. I ordered the hibachi lunch. My daughter ordered General Taos chicken. The portions were large. The fried rice had hard dried out pieces of rice, I guess it had sat open somewhere and dried out. the menu said my chicken would have a teriyaki sauce, not teriyaki, some not good sauce which was so salty I couldn't eat it. The raw chicken had not been covered I am guessing, because it had a 'skin' on it? I could not eat it. My lunch came with a choice of salad or clear soup. I chose the salad, was very crispy but it had almost an 1/2 inch of water in the bottom of the bowl. My daughter said her clear soup was excellent. Her General Taos chicken had an old freezer taste she said . We were totally unable to eat the entrees. So sad. We had hoped that this would be our go to place for Chinese food.

It was just lame.my friends got the steak box it was worse his wasn't just rare it was under cooked & tuff. We typically start with an order of the Gyoza, both preparations are very good. The Eggplant Miso is also very good but very rich. I only suggest ordering this if you have at one or two people to split it with. Just recently we started our meal with the Baked Salmon. While flavorful we were a bit disappointed. It was 80% snow crab mix and not very much salmon at all. We have tried at least 12 different rolls. The cooked and raw varieties are always great and the fish seems to be fresh. As far as drinks go the Haiku is one of their signature cocktails and is typically very good. Just recently, 6-27-2026, we had our first underwhelming experience at the location on Highland. It was the first bad experience in a decade or longer, so I won't hold it against them, most restaurants have an off night. The sushi was mostly rice, the fish was a tad off and the service was not the best. My rating will reflect how most of our experiences have been, which is really good. The most recent experience will not count unless it becomes a pattern.
