I decided that instead of watching life I'd join it. After losing another classmate, I finally realized that my bucket list would be for not if I kept waiting for the perfect situation. One of the items on that list is to constantly improve my physical fitness. Since the stairs at work snatch my breath on a daily, I decided to start with walking. It's been a while since I walked for exercise so I knew I needed to get the right footwear. I knew without the new kicks I'd use every excuse under the sun about why I can't exercise because my shoes are worn. I landed at Fleet Feet to get the perfect fit. From start to finish I felt informed and encouraged about the process. The staff member was exceptional. His customer service was outstanding. He explained the scans, offered the best choices, and I left with my new kicks to sign up for their spring training program. While I have miles to go before I'm ready to tackle the Cooper River Bridge, I know where all my footwear will be coming from. Suggestions: Book an appointment on their website, come prepared with questions, and forget the words "I only wear...." Feet and shoes change so be open to trying new sneakers. I am not convinced the employees know what they are doing. I had my feet measured and they told me…read moreI needed a 10.5 wide shoe. I alerted them to the fact that I typically where a 12 or 12.5 in most shoes and sometimes a 13 if it isn't a wide shoe. They insisted I try a 10.5 which was too tight, but they convinced me to purchase an 11.5 wide. As expected, after wearing them for 2 days I could barely walk. My left knee began hurting, as did my back and the arches of my feet. I stand and walk for 10-13 hour shifts and this was not acceptable. I returned to the store and had them rescan me with the same resulting shoe size recommendation. This time I insisted on a 12.5, which they did not have in stock and had to order. When it came time to order the replacement shoes, the employee wanted to order the new shoes first and then process my return. I disagreed with this process as I had purchased the shoes with a gift card and would then be paying $180 and leaving with a $150 gift card. The employee asked the manager for assistance and they agreed to do my return first and refund the money to a gift card that could be used for the purchase of the new shoes. This seems like common sense, but based on the shoe measurement discrepancies, perhaps not for these employees. I will see if the replacement shoes fit better when they arrive, but I am not likely to recommend this business to anyone else looking for shoes

Still did not speak. They are literally sitting at the register talking. Waiting until someone comes with a purchase. Convo will stop while they all watch one person ring up a customer. When I needed to get an item down, they acted like I was inconveniencing them bc one of the associates had to remove themselves from their conversation. When I had questions Kaitlyn was rude AS FUCK. Very short. One-word answers. Super dismissive. After I checked out, the energy was off af. I signed and literally had to tell them "Have a great day!" first. Then they gave me a dry ass have a good day. I barely every want to ever patronized this place again. But my teenage daughter loves it. Clothes, coffee, bourbon/rye; these are areas of interest I am passionate about. Shoes? Not so…read moremuch. I am not a "sneakerhead." I have never owned a pair of Air Jordan's or K-Swiss (though I always wanted a pair of the latter). I view shoes as an accessory to a outfit, albeit a necessary one. So it is no surprise that I seldom visit any type of shoe store, but when I do it is almost always here. Although the Men's shoe section pales in comparison to the Women's, it is still the largest selection (both of style and brand) I know of. And the prices? You are not going to find better. From comfortable sandals to hiking shoes to dress shoes, they all came from here. So sneakerhead or just not a fan of walking around barefoot, I recommend stopping in here. Oh yeah, they have hats, messenger bags, purses, socks, and jewelry.

I am a regular ann taylor shopper, but the beautiful colors in the display window of this store seemed so bright and cheery I decided to go inside and take a look around. I was promptly greeted at the door, but when I said I was just looking I was given my space, which was great. Nobody likes overly aggressive sales people! I found a few things to try on, and approached one of the employees (vicki) to ask a question about a particular pair of pants, and she went to the back and dug out the size I needed. I hit the dressing room, but since I was shopping by myself I was asking the employees their opinions on various outfits and they were helping make sure I was styled appropriately. I can not say enough good things about the employees that were helping me- Pam and Vicki. They were stylishly dressed themselves, so I knew I was in good hands, and best of all, they were honest with me, which is important! They were both so nice and friendly it felt like I was getting the honest opinions of my friends. Ann taylor is a chain store, so the clothes in each one are basically the same, but the service that you get is not. Next time I am in Augusta I will definitely stop in- I can't recommend them enough if you're looking for a dress for a special event or just to refresh your wardrobe, they will not steer you wrong.

They're in great shape, but it might be time to change due to technological advances. I'm relatively new to Augusta and quickly found Edwin Watts. I was happy to learn that they do NOT charge for swinging clubs and you can get all the stats you want from time in the bay. Interestingly, I hit a number of drivers and none of them went as far or as straight as my current driver. I was surprised! Rather than trying to sell me a driver for the sake of a sale, the young man I was working with told me "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I respected that. It's important to note that at the time, he didn't know I wanted to look at irons as well. After hitting 5 drivers with varied shaft setups I asked if I could hit some irons. At this point, I had been there for about an hour. The staff was unfazed and allowed me to hit multiple irons with different shaft setups. The managers got involved a bit and offered some ideas. Overall, a great experience. I will definitely buy clubs from Edwin Watts as long as I'm in Augusta. Additionally, I'll refer everyone I know to the store.
