My sister and I had brake light issuesThey did an inspection, and they couldn't figure out what the issue was but proceeded to give a long list of things that they say were wrong with the car that we found out later wasn't true. However, while we were there, my sister bought 2 tires from them on our way home. After the inspection, my sister's cruise control stopped working and the ABS light came on on her -, I called Hibdons to set up to set up an appointment for them to rectify the issues that had started after their inspection. When we got there for the appointment, they left us sitting in the waiting room for 6 hours until they told us that they didn't have time for An inspection that day, we were not there for another inspection which they knew because I told them all the issues on the phone when I made the appointment. We feel that this is a dishonest business and would not recommend that anyone, especially, ladies go there for any kind of service. Unfortunately, there were 3 other ladies in the waiting room with us. Also, and they all mysteriously seemed to come up with many more issues than the issues that they came for originally. read more

Showed up at 10:40am.. was told "it should take about an hour".. it is now 12:40, and my truck is still sitting outside. The workers are walking around and eating. No hurry at all. This is my first bad experience with Hibdon, but my first time at this store. If you need someone in Shawnee, go somewhere else. read more

Scheduled an appointment almost a week in advance for 1Pm 10/9/24 to have my front tires replaced. Showed up at 12:45. My car was still sitting outside at 2:30, when my wife confronted an employee after watching walk-ins get their work done before us. An hour and a half after my scheduled appointment time, my wife was informed that they would not have the tires at the store for another 2 hours. To be fair, they did offer 1 tire free, but I'm not going to do business with a shop that tells you "Appointments basically just let you bypass walk-ins" (obviously not true- see above) and refuses to communicate when they hit snags. I agreed to a 1PM appointment, NOT 4:30PM. At no time did any employee attempt to communicate their supply issue until confronted. No one checked to see if the tires were in the building when we showed up. My time may not be important to this store, but it is to me. Will take my business elsewhere; suggest you do the same. read more

Basically told me there was nothing wrong with tire. When I tried to again explain how often I've been having to put air in just that one tire was told the problem "would have to get bigger" before they could find it. Immediately went down the road to another tire place who found the problem and fixed said tire. All with an attitude completely opposite the Hibdon's employee - that is the employee at the other store was friendly, polite and helpful. I'll be writing that review next but they will get 5 stars. read more

I went to Hibdon tire in Shawnee, Ok. On 3/22/17, I went to have car tires rotated and to replace valve stem on pickup tire. They told me the pickup tire that I purchased from them was to "old" to replace valve stem, nothing was wrong with tire and it still had 10/32 tread depth, he wanted me to buy new tire, so much for the lifetime repair on tires you purchase from Hibdon Tire ! So I took it to Arrowhead Automotive Center in Tecumseh, Ok. They were more than happy to replace valve stem, they charged me $10 and took less than 10 min. To replace, very happy with their service and will use them from now on for tires. It is really a shame I have used the Shawnee Hibdon since they opened, well over 20 years but I will never set foot in this business again after not doing what they say they will do ! read more

This review is for all the stores. I went to the one in Norman and watched one employee after another try to upsale one customer after another. They spent more time trying to convince people to spend 100s more than they could afford than they did to do what I came for. I needed a front end alignment. They went on and on until I ended up buying 2 tires and getting an oil change. And the manager was acting put out because I didnt do the alignment. That's what I came for and got snookered into tires. I couldnt afford to do what they thought I should do. Kept on about tires so I got tires. Stop trying to suck more money out of customers!!! read more

This place is terrible!!! I took my car in for an alignment and had to wait 2 hours and then when they were finally finished I paid and left only to realize my car was still pulling to the right a bit and when I took it back up there the manager tried to tell me it was because the roads are slanted and at the time I had somewhere to be so I just said whatever and left. I would not recommend anyone to this place ever I would just as soon walk home than have to give this place a dime there went a hard earned 80$ for nothing read more

Every time I have been to this location the service has been quick and accurate. The help is very friendly both in person and on the phone, and so far with making appointments, I haven't once had to wait on them to get my vehicles on a lift. Keep up the good work guys. read more

When I was 16 I had a great experience with this Hibdon Tire. They helped me out. Now that I am 50 I sent my son there because he had an egg shaped tire vibrating. They were very rude, sold him the most expensive tire possible, and balanced all 4 tires without asking. He would have also gotten an alignment without asking if the alignment machine was not broken at the time. Boy, times sure have changed at this Hibdons. Do not go there, you will regret it. read more

Well, I have always been told how bad Hibdon Tire in Shawnee, OK is; I should have listened. I have been getting my tires here since 2009 and just had a horrible experience. I dropped my car off to get the tires rotated and hours later i get a call that my car is ready. During the call she tells me I need to start thinking about getting new tires and that my tread is low and that your car will be ready in 10 minutes. Not one mention about not rotating the tires on the car during the conversation on the phone. When I show up the car is still on the lift and up in the air, so something is obviously wrong. When I go to the desk to see what is going on they want to take me to the car and show me the tires. They begin to tell me that my tires are too dangerous to do a rotation on and you need new tires. I appreciate Hibdon taking the time to walk me to my car and show me my tread but why was this not brought up during the conversation on the phone. Now my car has been at Hibdon Tires all day and the tires are not rotated and I have blown my whole day with still bad tires on the car. Since the tires cannot be rotated I will purchase new ones just not from Hibdon in Shawnee, OK. read more

I have used Hibdon for many years because they have always fixed tires for my wife and kids now I came to fix a flat a nail took 2hrs and tried to make me buy new tires last time I came to fix a flat it took 3 hrs they can put new set of tires in 58 mins. But 3hrs to fix a flat I'm done with this company. read more

The worst experience I have ever had for a tire shop. We are from out of town so we dropped off my wife's truck to get 4 tires replaced on friday afternoon and I am just getting done now it is 6:00 PM on saturday. I will never return or recommend this place to anyone. We sat in the parking lot after being told the truck would be done around 2, from 1:30 till 6:00. The wife was not happy to say the least. Guy offered some free oil changes but I turned them down. I would rather pay for oil changes than be subject to that kind of service. read more

Got an appointment to repair 2 flats. One on the car and another for another vehicle. The car tire was repaired but I failed to check about the other tire before I left. They had not even started the other tire. I came back (15 min trip) and they still have not started it. They don't seem to pay attention to details or are concerned about the impact of these delays on my schedule. read more

I'm emailing due to an issue I experience at your store located 1340 N Harrison Ave, Shawnee, OK 74801. I contacted them on Saturday to inquiry about availability at their store to fix a flat. The worker on the phone indicated clearly that every bay was open and that no one was at the store to "bring it on in." Well, we arrive 6 minutes later to find every stall taken and a 30 minute wait. Clearly your worker meant to deceive us and is a flat our liar. Secondly when the attendant took our tire off, WHICH WAS 2 MONTHS OLD, indicated it was unfixable and had two many holes. I instructed to put the tire back on as I didn't believe them....I took the tire to the place I bought it Discount Tire and they fixed the problem as a simple nail. Your Shawnee store apparently has 2 liars working for you and I'm disappointment that you haven't investigate. If you read the reviews for your Shawnee store this is normal Business for this store. Terrible experience staff is not knowledgable; maybe even crooked. I dropped my vehicle off to get brake pads replaced. Then, 20 minutes later the mechanic calls and states that my lug nut has been cross threaded, and the only way he can get the wheel off is by drilling a hole through the rim. The mechanic said this would require replacing the rim, of course. I tell him I would not like this to be done given that there are other methods that are more cost effective. Then I call a different shop in town and the mechanic ensured that he could remove the lug without damaging my rim. I let the mechanic know I would be back to pick up my car, he mentions that he would not like me to do this so that he can provide me with quality service I deny the gesture. Upon arrival I am informed that now, they don't have to drill a hole through the rim to get my wheel off; what happened to that plan I wonder..? Furthermore I needed two front rotors with pads and two rear pads for a total of $495.(Mind you if I had let them drill a hole through my rim and replace it the total would be closer to $700) After roughly 10-15 minutes of debate and bantering among staff members I finally get the keys to my car and leave. The mechanic that offered me the second opinion informed me that I needed one rotor and brake pad replacements on the front end for a total of $250; removed the lug that was not cross threaded the mechanic at Hibdons did not properly lock down on the locking lug and destroyed the lug in the process. Now my vehicle drives like a dream again! Dropping my vehicle off at Hibdons in Shawnee resulted a half wasted day a destroyed lug and a near hit to the pocket book. I digress is saying that if you want quality service the FIRST time you drop your vehicle off and VALUE YOUR MONEY go to Randys in Shawnee! read more
