The driving range is standard, but they have an automatic ball machine right next to the range so you can skip the clubhouse altogether. They take pretty decent care of the course, though the Little Pine course is much rougher. Fairways are nice and short, and everything is well-watered. I've played both the back and front nine, and while they're hugely different, both are fun to play. I enjoyed them as a very very new golfer, but so did my father, who's been playing much longer. A few words of advice, though-- call ahead to find out when the leagues and private lessons are. We got stuck once behind a group of women practicing after their private lesson, and it was horribly frustrating. We waited nearly 20 minutes for them to play a par-3 hole. Also, wear bug spray. Not a little dab. Not a little tea tree oil. I mean about three quarts of high-DEET deep-woods-off. The mosquitoes are absolutely vicious, especially on the back 9 and the Little Pines, which are shadier courses.

He was a white older man with short brown hair. He said that he was "warning me that I was aggravating them" even though I simply threw the ball back over to the people who asked and they were happy. Then I was on the grass next to the sidewalk (not fairway) and he told me that I needed to get on the sidewalk while he drove across the fairway to tell me this?? Does that make sense? Even though he drove on it to scold me, another 5-6 group of boys were on it the fairway at other holes and he didn't tell them anything. Completely disrespectful and distasteful. I used to work at Eagle Crest, so I know the rules, thank you very much and I am absolutely disgusted with management. Go across the street.

Even a precise tee shot is not good enough on this course as cleverly designed traps and strategic tree placement are there to collect the slightest mishit. The greens are brutally fast and contoured which turn short chips into daunting prospects. Radrick isn't all doom and gloom however, the windy conditions I played under contributed considerably. With friendlier weather this is a fun and challenging course. It is also exceedingly picturesque and beautiful. If you know someone and can manage to get on this private course, I highly recommend it.

My husband took me, as someone who has never played golf before in my life, to hit balls. We didn't need to prebook anything, just showed up, walked over to the driving range, used the self-serve machine to get a couple buckets of balls, walked over to an open spot, and that was that! It was a pretty crowded day (based on how many cars were in the parking lot), but the driving range wasn't crowded at all, so I'm guessing it usually isn't full. Easy to park in a large lot, there's food and drink on site in the clubhouse if you want it, and conveniently located just outside of town on the SW side of Ann Arbor. I'll be back!

The covered tees are heated for winter use. The heat is welcomed but you will still want to practice in a light jacket during the winter months. Gloves on both hands will be welcomed too. The range is a franchisee of Toptracer Range Systems. Although the games on this computerized range radar system are a bit "gimmicky" for my personal taste - I can see where they would be fun if I hadn't driven 45 minutes to practice. Time is limited!! However, the stats captured by the system seem to be reasonably accurate and certainly provide for a worthwhile practice session. The store is also full service and carries all of the major brands. If they do not have it in stock, I am sure that they could order it for you. 4 stars as I wish the mats were a bit softer/of higher quality. I personally use a mat from Country Club Elite at home. Although I realize that they are expensive - they are the best mat I have used and I believe that being of commercial quality, they will last long enough to justify the cost. The addition to the customer experience would certainly be helpful. Lots of parking, but take a moment to figure out how to go behind nearby businesses to turn on Carpenter Road with the traffic light! You will thank me later!! [smile]

It all depends on what you want. I had a driver shaft fitting on February 16th, with a delivery…read moredate of a week to ten days. I put down a deposit of 50% of the total cost as requested by the fitter. On February 23rd , got a call from the fitter telling me MOG couldn't order the shaft without 100% of the total cost prepaid. The new delivery date was a week to ten days from the 23rd. I waited a week and called to check the status of my order. I was put on hold for about 10 minutes while the person checked. She came back on the line and said the person whose job it is to order shafts had forgotten to do so. At this point the fitting was over two weeks ago, without any action by MOG. The young woman apologized and said the shaft would be ordered the next day, with an expected delivery in a week. Of course, that didn't happen. Long story short and over a dozen phone calls to MOG I was able to pick up my new driver shaft on March 19th. Remember how I said I'd paid 100% in advance for my order? The counter guy apparently didn't know the process and couldn't read the computer properly so he tried to charge me again for the shaft. I said I'd already paid for it. He said, "How do I know that?" Fortunately, he managed to figure out the MOG computer system that showed I had indeed paid 100% in advance. The good news is the MOG fitter did an excellent job and I'm extremely happy with my new driver shaft. The bad news is the MOG retail staff is poorly trained in how to get answers to questions regarding special orders. The bottom line, for me, is that after a couple of decades of doing business with MOG, including getting fitted for a set of irons and a complete driver fitting prior to my latest purchase, I'm not going back to MOG for anything, not even to hit range balls.

The staff (Noah's team) did an amazing job with customer service and the details of making my sister's wedding seamless and uneventful. Noah was attentive, kind, thoughtful, respectful and on top of everything necessary for the wedding to run. The chef came out to check on us. The bartender was kind and social with my family and guests. The space was beautiful. I barely had to put decorations up. Again, The location was perfect, the weather was perfect, the staff was perfect, the food was outstanding. I've had several functions with the club over the years and would highly recommend using them for events. I'll be back for any event I need in the future. Donna has been nothing but an ultimate professional in working with me. Can't thank the "club" enough for helping us make memories that will last a lifetime.
