I was hoping to…read moreget out of Illinois on this tank of gas but couldn't quite make it, so I was here paying an extra 20 cents or so per gallon thanks to the higher state taxes in the Land of Lincoln. Oh, well. Like other Costco with fuel, the gas pumps are located. Unless you have a massive vehicle, you can use the pumps on either side as they have very long hoses that will reach across most cars. Prices here are lower than other gas stations in the area because your fuel is "subsidized" by your Costco membership. When you get to the pump, scan your membership card and then your credit card. They do not accept cash here and they do not accept American Express. There are no squeegees or drinks/snacks at this gas station. [Review 17196 overall - 113 in Illinois - 713 of 2022.]

I questioned it. When I bought them in BoysTown in Chicago, they were $8. Not in Champaign. I said, "Those are Chicago prices! There is no way they are that much. How much are the cheapest ones? I will take those." I had been being helped by a young man. Then I heard a female voice come over the speaker saying something very snotty about it not being Chicago prices. She would not repeat it or come to the window. I said, "I have paid that there, something isn't right with the price here. I will go elsewhere." Then the young man said, "You can get the Pall Mall's for $6.02." It did not make sense, and he gave no explanation. Had I not questioned it, I would have been overcharged by $2. How many people have they done that to? No apologies, no explanations, nothing. I will be going inside next time, if I go back, so I can see who is trying to be rude and hateful while speaking to me, and so I can physically see the prices.
