As a person who already has too many plants, this is it's also dangerous. You fellow plant lovers know what I mean, we always think we can find a spot for another! But it's not just about floor or shelf space, it's about proper lighting. They have all sorts of plants like monstera, fiddle leaf fig and palms. Snake plants, pathos, cactus and succulents. Yep, I'm in trouble! In addition to the plants, they have everything for their care and to display them like metal hanging plant holders, macrame plant holders, and pots in a variety of styles and sizes. After she gets settled in her new place, I will bring her here to pick out a plant. And while I was there and I chatted with Vanessa and Cassie and loved hearing about their story I have how this brick and mortar shop came to be. I honestly couldn't imagine them not addressing any concerns I may have had with the plants, which I haven't. Additionally, DJ is extremely knowledgeable and would seriously doubt they would sell anything that wasn't top notch! I wasn't there so I don't know for sure. As far as the good-natured employees, Arango, who appears to be the main Foreman of the nursery has always been in good spirits and extremely helpful in helping me search and load up my truck/car with the best they have to offer from there vast fields. I'm sorry Mike H. had such a problem with his trees. My experience has been totally the opposite. My family and I went their last summer; kids had fun and the guys helping you were nice. The problem is that they will tell you everything is good and healthy and they will load your truck up and tell you everything you want to hear before you get a chance to realize your mistake. The problem is that I do not know about trees. The guys will tell you how good the trees are and no matter what they will not tell you that the tree will die or any other problem. They have a one-year guarantee but when I came back days later to ask why my FIVE $200.00 tree roots were only a few inches long and why all the old branches were cut off so that only new growth would appear and why the bark was falling off. All my trees had damage under the bark, you will not see until they all die. I received a look from the owner that scared me and he let me know to drop it, no refund. Now after 13 months all my trees are dying. I could not get a refund. This was not my first purchase from this place. The other trees and bushes all got sickly looking and I realized it too late; I am an idiot. I expect to be sold what I pay for, not garbage. Everyone I have talked to about this told me that all five of my trees should have NEVER been sold.

I've been searching for literal years for…read morethe right someones to help me reclaim my space: lovingly planted years ago with family who are now dead or gone, the property was overgrown completely, me overwhelmed (think Gertrude Jekyll meets Ken Druse meets the late great Joy Creek Nursery - then left to just grow for 5-10 years). I didn't want a "removal" or an "install," I wanted a long-term partnership with caring humans who would help me wrestle my space into a proper ecological safe haven and food forest I can actually handle - without clearcutting it all. Matt came out for the consult, and I learned so much just from that; he knew the uses for practically every plant here. He resonated with my vision, and made a plan that was right for me. Then, he, Rachel and Angel came out yesterday and dug in. Honestly, it was so nerve-wracking to open my space up and trust. I left for my day job while they were in the middle of pruning-weeding-everything-everywhere, got home after dark, then went out in my slippers and jams this morning, coffee in hand, to see what they'd done. What I beheld was like a gift, like my Garden Fairy Godmother had come and waved her wand all around my space. I literally teared up seeing the shrubs we agreed to keep carefully pruned, those slated for removal completely gone, invasives removed, and cuttings carefully laid out as mulch or to create new walkways. They added to my limb-bordered path, and added and raked in gravel from my pile to show the vision. They even collected the apples from the tree Matt pruned in a bucket for me. Whole mini bioregions of my garden are opened up now. I have gone from hopeless to thrilled. I'm ready to dream a beautiful future for this place, and my life, and this is a very, very big deal. Ask to speak to clients who have installs at least two years old to see how things have held up. I wish I had done that. Based on my experience, I would steer clear of irrigation work, maintenance plans, water features. Look at every plant and whether it's appropriate for your space and needs. Confidence is not competence.
