I went in for a tour and to find availability and rates. Felicia Winters was truly amazing. The day I went in to look at the apartments it was raining very hard. She was professional, friendly and never made me feel uncomfortable for asking her to go out in the pouring rain to show me the apartments. I have joint problems and the distance between the apartment and the laundry facilities was of concern to me, so Felicia suggested we walked from the apartment to the laundry room for me to see the path I would be taking. We did this in the rain and it made a difference to me to see why she thought that apartment location would work for my needs. read more

I've been living at Hidden Cove for just over a month and am pretty pleased with my choice. I found the complex and signed the lease online being that I was living in New Jersey at the time. The maintence team is pretty great and timely for the most part. The complex is dog friendly and provide poop bags all over the grounds which are always well stocked. I lived here for 18 mo. in Hidden Cove II. My apartment was 2 BR, 2 Bath with a washer/dryer. The apartment had a very open layout, fairly nice however, the flooring is all hardwood. No carpet at all, so noise travels. Despite the spacious community grounds, most apartments only have a direct view of the carports, rather than the open outdoor space. The community grounds are well kept for the most part. I did have reoccurring issues with the fitness center. Numerous times over the course of several weeks the air conditioner would not work properly, or was set too high (I think 75 degrees is too high). Often, it was cooler outside then inside the fitness center. I complained numerous times. Apparently it wasn't just me because eventually another resident broke the protective cover over the thermostat to lower the temperature. While the leasing office staff were always friendly and smile when greeting you, they are often difficult to reach when you need to talk to someone. More times than not when I called no one would answer and numerous times I went to the leasing office no one was inside because they were touring with potential residents. It often felt like potential residents were more important. Maintenance personal were very friendly and polite any time I had a service request scheduled. However, the work was often sloppy, particularly when I was not home. I routinely had multiple service requests for the same issue because the work was not done properly. For example, it took them 3 days to replace one of my smoke detectors that was constantly beeping because of a low battery, which was totally unacceptable. It was the type where the whole unit has to be replaced, you can't just replace the battery. When they installed my new washer/dryer they did not test it for proper operation and crossed the hot/cold lines, also unacceptable. Hidden Cove II is more expensive then Hidden Cove I, yet no security gate. I had packages stolen off my doorstep. Also, pay close attention to the terms in the lease that you sign: - $10/m fee to park on property - $10/m (additional) fee to park in a carport - $100 fee for late rent. I was late one time in 18 months and they would not waive it - $100 fee for lost parking permit - $100+ move-out repainting fee - $100+ move-out cleaning fee Bottom line, not worth the price. read more

This is my second review and have been a resident for the last 3 months. Since then I've requested for maintenance service for about 4 times now. From simple things like light bulb change, door knob and window screen fix to major one such as skylight replacement and everything was handled very promptly and professionally. My lease is coming to an end living here and have been very disappointed the whole time living here. It's practically impossible to get ahold of the leasing office for any questions or maintenance help. Had many issues with the quality of the apartment such as cockroaches, malfunctions of the fire alarms, plumbing issues, and one morning walked in to our tank on our toilet completed cracked and spilling water all over our bathroom, as well as we had multiple occasions where the maintenance staff would enter our apartment without permission or notice just to name a few mishaps. Aside from inside our apartment our neighbors had a homeless drug addict break into their unit and try to attack them with a knife and it took over a week to finally have someone from the leasing office take time to talk with us so we could notify them of what happened and they had no concerns and nothing to say about it. The staff at hidden cove are lazy and unprofessional and show no care to their tenants well beings. Extremely un happy with my year of living here and cannot wait to move to a safer home. read more

We've been residents since forever ago, & recently, we received AWESOME customer service from the complex office. Just as Brianna B. said, parkings a bit of a hassle, but it's fine if you don't throw big parties.. It's also fine as long as you have a pass!!! Maintenance is always on top of it, the complex is always looking good( top half--hidden cove II ) we have a washer and dryer.. We're allowed to have dogs here! ( now all were waiting for is that dog park! :) ). We can't really complain!! We love JULIE at the office, she's the best!! And Kelley I think is her name, the guy and the office manager JENN. Lesson here is, communication is key, if you are 100% real/honest, humanity comes around and everyone is happy in the end. They are really sweet at the office and do their best. They can't please everyone, but they are also doing their job to run this place, and so far so good! read more

Pros: One of the nicer apartments in Escondido in a nice area. Nice, spacious apartments. Wood floors, plenty of storage space, patios/balconies, quiet apartment complex. Clean. Cons: If you live on the bottom floor the wood floor in the apartment above you creeks very loud and sounds like your upstairs neighbor could break through the floor. Even though the complex is gated one of the gates usually is broken. Utility costs are high, I pay around 50$ for sewer/water/trash, parking is 30$ if you have a carport. Major con: On my pre-inspection move out date I sat waiting in my apartment for seven hours and no one showed up or called. I called and left two messages explaining the situation and didn't hear back from management after four days. I went to the office to talk to the manager. They explained that it was not their typical way of conducting their business and they must have overbooked on that day, which is bs. The move out inspection only takes about five minutes, so think about how many bookings they must have had in a seven hour period, must have been at least a hundred right? On the same day? All moving out the same month? They messed up, were disorganized and didn't consider making a phone call to let me know. So even if this isn't their typical way of doing business it still will happen, just like the gate being broken and the floor above you creaking very loudly. Do not ignore the Pros though, this can be a nice place to live. read more

I moved into the Hidden Cove Apartments about 9 months ago. I also am pretty surprised at how many negative reviews there are. When I walked in to see the apartment the first time, I immediately fell in love. Although it's a ways away from work in San Diego, it's a much more reasonable price and sometimes the commute is just as long as someone who lives closer to SD. The office staff has always been helpful for me. I've had issues with packages stolen/opened and they were very attentive and offered to let me have them shipped to the office. Unfortunately they cannot control the actions of others, so this was the best possible solution. The staff is always quick to respond to emails and calls and are always friendly. I also always see the maintenance staff riding around on their golf carts. I've only needed to ask for a service request once and it was my own fault that I felt completely guilty for breaking, and they fixed it within a day with no problem. I've never seen roaches in my apartment, only spiders here and there and they're all small ones (thank god!). The parking situation is okay. I don't think there are enough spots for all of the people who live here. When I come home at night, all of the unassigned spots are filled. Thankfully I do have a covered spot, so I don't have an issue but should someone come visit, they would have a problem even though I have a visitor pass that I pay for. Also, some of the other tenants should be more courteous to their neighbors in the next spot. The spots are small as it is, so if you don't park correctly you make it difficult for someone else to park. Also, if you leave for work in the morning, you have to leave out of the gate that's on Auto Parkway, otherwise you get stuck waiting for the parents who stop in the middle of a lane to let their kids out of the car. And then wait for the kids to cross the street. And when it's clear to go, you have to dodge the parents turning left across the way when you're turning right because they don't care you have the right of way. It is noisy here, but I have never seen the cops here as one of the other reviews had said. The walls are thin so I can hear my neighbors arguing sometimes. They also had a party until 12am a few months ago and it made it difficult to sleep. I was wondering where those patrols were at. I thought about calling to complain, but was able fall asleep. My biggest noise complaint is car alarms. Someone has a car parked in the lot that has to be the most sensitive alarm I have ever seen because it goes off when a loud car goes by it. A lot of times it goes off around 6am and it takes them a few minutes to shut it off. I'm not sure if it's the other complex since it's so close by, but it's very irritating when you're trying to get those few extra minutes before the clock alarm goes off. I am on a second floor so I do try to be light footed but unfortunately I can't help it sometimes. There are parts of the floor that squeak when I walk on it and unfortunately I have to walk there a lot. The laundry facility is nice and well kept. I would prefer if they had coinless machines which would make it much easier for myself and I assume everyone. I would have preferred machines be in my apartment, but they were too expensive. When I first moved in, I noticed a lot of dog poop everywhere. People never seemed to clean up after them but now it seems a lot better. I'm not sure if maintenance is cleaning it or if the tenants are just more responsible. The air conditioning is definitely a con. It's a wall unit and it does okay cooling down the living room but it does not make it to the bedroom. When it got really hot, it was very unbearable. I tried to make it work by sleeping in the living room but I pretty much got no sleep for a few days until it cooled down. I was told to get a fan, but I thought with how much I paid in rent that I shouldn't need a fan. Obviously they can't get central air in here, but maybe install a second wall unit in the bedroom? The trash, sewer and water fees were explained fully at the time of lease signing so it's not something they just added to tag on extra expenses. However, for someone who has one trash bag a week and uses very little water, $50 total each month is a lot. My electric and gas bill is less than that. It makes me wonder who in the complex is overusing! Overall, I enjoy living here. It's a nicer area and is located to a lot of stores which is really convenient. Everything you can think of is literally only a few miles away if not right across the street. read more

When we first moved to Hidden Cove, it was 2007, we lived there until the holiday season of 2017, 10 years, between 2013 and 2017 our rent increases were $130, $120 and then $160. I understand that the rent moves with the market, but we were not paying for the competitive market value, we were paying for appliances and luxuries we did not have. Each and every time we tried to get the rent down to an affordable level, the only thing they were willing to compensate for was $20 off, this would have helped if it wasn't for the fact that they charge you an ungodly amount of money for a close covered parking space in a city where it never rains, it was either park across the street at the school with the chances of getting your car broken into, or pay the once '$5' parking spot to the now $30 - $40 parking spot. This complex also has a shady deal with a local towing company, I forget its name, it might be "Western Towing", we called the main office (recorded the call) and pretended like we were looking to move in and asked "I'm worried though that I could have my car towed if its in my own spot and you can't see our parking decal" Their response was "We don't allow any car to be towed unless the security service has tagged it and called the towing company to come in", which is an absolute lie, the towing company has a key to the complex gate (which they shouldn't by the way as its against their own lease and policy), and they go around and check each and every car every night with a flash light (the drivers, not security), these towers will also lie and say they don't work for any towing company and drive around in normal cars sometimes, then they meet out in the Target/Toys R Us parking lot where they begin their illegal search inside of the cars. I worked at TRU overnight, so I would see them pulling cars into the parking lot every single night from Hidden Cove. You are not allowed to have anything on your porch, you get notices to remove everything, and its amazing considering there's no central air nor heating, so you can't have an umbrella on your porch if you want to sit and not suffocate in the apartment The main office people were generally helpful most of the time when it came to assistance, but they didn't enforce any of their rules. If you live next to the parking lot, you will be hearing kids on skateboards slamming the wooden toys all day and all night, this is against the complex policy yet never really enforced, it took 5 years to get rid of a skateboarding kid who also vandalized peoples cars, apartments, doors, etc. You will also have to be careful with your kids getting out of your car as this place is home to a lot of a-hole residents who drive 40 MPH through the parking lot. Dog poop will be everywhere, nobody cleans after their pets, homeless people will be in the dumpster every night. Residents also dig in the trash in the middle of the night. People will sit outside of your apartment windows with friends and kids and talk for hours at the top of their lungs. The landscapers will blow trash onto your porch. You will get lease locked, they require some silly thing a 60 or 90 day notice to move, which forces you to panic as its hard to get a place to keep an apartment for you that long, they try to lock you into their lease and force you to pay their astonishingly high rent. When we moved, I personally repainted most of the apartment except the living room, as the living room when we moved in we asked to have it painted blue on one side, which they did, however we had rain damage one year where they had to rip out the entire living room wall next to the patio window and fix the entire thing which took 3 weeks, they also painted over a large portion of our blue wall, which wasn't a problem (until we moved out), the fool that did the apartment walk with us asked why the wall was blue and partially white, and we told him, and he said he was going to have to charge us for it....Charge us for something they did, and something they're going to repaint anyway... We only got back a small portion of our security deposit, after we cleaned all of the bathrooms and repainted, we had carpet which had natural wear and tear that they were ripping out to put in 'hardwood flooring', we still got charged for the carpet wear and tear. Its not all gloom though, the best part about living there was the maintenance team, they were ALWAYS great, the supervisor Eddie was awesome, every time he passed by people he would say hi, ask how everything is going, hows the noise, etc, they're the only I didn't give this place a one. The week we moved out, we got a call from the property owners asking what they could do to keep us there, they even offered a discount and a $500 dollar card, but it was too late, we asked the office for a rent reduction, got a $20 offer, not good enough. A year later I'm glad we moved, our new place is amazing, I would not recommend anyone to live at Hidden Cove. read more

Just renewed my lease with Hidden Cove Apartments. Very nice gated community to live in, which recently was under new management. Staff is very prompt in fixing issue and making repairs/improvements when necessary. For example, the paint on my patio was flaking off after all the hard rain we've had, next thing you know, they're refinishing my patio and the workers were mindful of my grill and furniture. (taping off so no debris/paint gets on my stuff) Also, the gym was already comparable to a mini-chuze gym. Then i get an email saying it's going to be revamped with new gear. Similar story to the laundry facility. It was already stocked up with energy efficient washer/dryers, next thing you know they replaced them all with card swipers! yay, no more draining the corner store for their quarters. The key thing that keeps me in Hidden Cove is the location. Less than 2 minutes from any store you could think of...seconds from the 15 freeway...I guess my only complaint is that you can hear the live band that plays at the Lexus dealership on Fridays/Saturdays, but i can live with that. With the windows closed, it's silent. read more

Jennifer M. made the renting experience awesome! My apartment was clean and had a great smell at move in. The entire staff that I came in contact with was pleasant and very helpful. I asked to see my unit several times before signing the lease and Jennifer was very understanding and made sure all of my requests were met ( previously horrible renting experience, wanted to be sure the unit was in good condition). Today I had a minor maintenance issue and maintenance showed up in a timely manner and was very nice and helpful. He was a very kind and pleasant individual. The property manager also contacted me to check on how things were coming along. All in all the staff was very at Hidden Cove is awesome and the apartments are very well kept! This is a very peaceful and serene place located in the shopping hub of Esco. I regret not moving here sooner! read more

My family and I have lived in the upper level of this community for a little over 2 years. (The complex has an upper level and a lower level) I cannot say enough good things about living here! The apartments and grounds are well maintained. The maintenance staff are so friendly and efficient! Any time we have a concern they are there within 24 hours to fix whatever is needed. I love that the buildings are not stacked on top of one another. Even though it is an apartment complex, there is a feeling of privacy... and I really enjoy that! Going on my second year in a one bedroom, one bath apartment. The complex is mostly quiet and family friendly. It is freeway friendly and plenty of shopping/dining nearby. I have not had too many maintenance issues, but the staff is prompt and courteous when completing maintenance. The leasing staff has always been efficient and friendly, making both leasing and renewal process easy. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quiet apartment experience and have enjoyed my experience at Hidden Cove. read more

My boyfriend and I just recently moved into Hidden Coves, we are really enjoying it for now. We have used the gym, never had an issue with noise because of our neighbors, and the grounds are well maintained. It does suck because parking is an addition on rent so parking is a nightmare. This place is nice enough and the pool areas are nice but its not worth it. One of the main problems living here is that there is hardly ever parking which seems strange because you have to pay to park there? The biggest problem came when we moved out. Apparently you have to give 60 days notice here instead of 30 because they're so incompetent they can't find someone to rent an apartment in 30 days. But anyways we gave 40 days notice instead because most places are only 30 (granted it does say in our lease 60 days, but after living here for 2 years who looks back the lease, like ever?!). They charged us $1200 dollars because we put in our notice 20 days late. ARE YOU SERIOUS? And I called to find out about the charge and the guy on the phone said "it's in your lease in bold and it says a fee may occur". A fee may occur and 1200$ seems very different to me. Very nice looking place, My leasing girl Felicia was very nice about everything. But when I went to the place they ask me to apply which my boyfriend I did. Did not realize i also payed 500 holding fee. I quickly called that same day within minutes. Spoke with a gentlemen name Anthony about wanting a refund about my 500 because i was still browsing around to see where would be the best home for my boyfriend and I. Anthony was very pushy about leaving the 500 holding fee, and its ok for me to still be browsing. What he fail. to communicate or tell me is that within my 24 hours I would not be able to get my 500 back. so a little over week went by. And when I email Felicia about not moving forward on the apartment she informed me I only had 24 hours since when I applied to get the 500 holding fee. What frustrates me is i called the same day and never was told any of this. I basically got robbed my 500 dollars and taken advantage. I really did like hidden cove apartments. But by someone not giving me the right information i get screwed in the end. Lucky me this all happen all before the holidays. Thank you HiddenCove. read more

Well this place can be better. It's an apartment complex we're people live and sleep, not a farm! I can't count how many times in the last 2 1/2 years that I've been waken up before a 8 o'clock by the fucking Gardner's using there leave blowers or chain saws, look I get it you want the place to look good, but you don't have run your machines everyday to look good. Have some customs and courtesy for the people that actually pay your fucking bills and keep your machines off until 11, not every single person works at 7 in the morning! More to come read more

I have lived at Hidden Cove for 6 months now and can honestly say it is one of the best experiences I have had living in an apartment. The staff is friendly and any time we have needed maintenance done it is done within a day. The landscape is always kept up, and although we are only a block away from major roads and shopping centers it feels much more secluded than that. I have also been impressed with how well the pool areas and gym are kept up. My only complaint is the little charges they add on, that definitely add up. Because of the landscaping, although it looks great, the water bill is high. Parking costs and is sometimes limited unless you pay extra for the covered spots. When looking at the price of rent, be ready to add on about $100 or more for the trash/water/sewage bill and parking. read more

I have been a resident of Hidden Cove for almost 7 years. And having just renewed my lease, I can say that I have been very happy with my time here. I too was shocked by some of the reviews saying how horrible it was. I wouldn't have stayed here for as long as I have if that were the case. I'm glad to see more of the residents that do enjoy living here leave such positive reviews. The current office staff has been very helpful with any concerns of mine. Jennifer, the community manager has been very professional and has made me feel valued as a long time resident. Whenever I have needed maintenance of any kind, the service has always been quick and with a maintenance crew that is professional and easy to talk to. this is not a money trap of any sort as some past residents have stated. I have never had random fees in all my time here. There are thorough explanations in the lease agreement as to what is needed to be done on move out, or if rent is ever late. By just talking to the office, I can personally say that they are more than willing to work with your concerns on any fees. The place is clean and well kept. It is a smoke free complex, which I greatly appreciate. Any disrespect of the rule should definitely be taken to the office. Those that do break the rule goes to show the character of the individual, or the grasp that nicotine has on them. Pets are allowed. And those that do have them should follow all rules. Have their dogs trained to not bark at every body that passes by. I have noticed that there is less dog feces around. Either maintenance has helped with cleaning that up or pet owners are actually being responsible for their dogs. Either way, It is appreciated. I have had numerous different neighbors in my time here. None have been too noisy, or rude. I may have more tolerance than others, but my time here has never been miserable like some reviews here state. You can hear your upstairs neighbor going for a late night snack at times, in areas that you wonder why noises are coming from that area. Rent, when it gets too high I will move out. But not bash this place for raising rent.. I have lived in apartments for a very long time, rent always goes up. That is not a surprise. Would I like my rent to stay the same since I moved in, yes. But I would also like to eat bacon every day and never worry about its negative affects on my body. The apartments themselves are very spacious. No major problems with plumbing or insects of any kind in all my time here. It is a very clean and well kept area. Parking is the only negative mark I could give this place. In the area I am in, some of the slots are a little small, or residents just do not know how to park. And the fee for parking should be removed. Or just give everyone 1 covered spot, I'm sure residents would appreciate it. There are enough parking spots for at least 1 car each. But since the parking fee is so high, well most do not want to have covered parking so finding a spot is a challenge at times. Well, that's bout it. Look around, you'll find many higher rent places with less to offer. These apartments are spacious, there are several nice clean pools, a decent weight room, right next to the freeway with numerous stores in the area, and friendly staff and residents. read more

Think twice on what you can tolerate before you move here!!!! i have been here for almost 2yrs and have had 4 diff neighbors to move in upstairs. The new tenants have been here for less than a month and are driving me insane!!!! The never ending noise and stomping all day long is absolutely unbearable. The floors are super thin so you can here EVERYTHING. I've had to contact the leasing office several times. I work early in the am and my sleep is interrupted at 2am, 3am and 4am. They have 3 grown ppl and 2 big dogs in an apartment and no kids....seriosuly who walks and stomps all day long like that. i am definitely in the process of finding a more quieter place to live. No one should have to come home and listen to marching and scrambling after a long day of work. Oh and I forgot to mention the ridiculousness of paying $30 a month for carport parking and $10 for unasssigned parking which after 8pm you're out of luck. Insane. read more

So the place is beautiful for an apartment complete but when you try to move out they give you so many false charges that you barely get your deposit back. My husband and I made sure to keep the place spotless and our last statement from hidden cove they found the most mundane things to charge us for. So yes, getting in and living there is fine but moving out is pure Hell I wouldn't wish on an enemy. The only problem we had with living there is the AC broke 4 times in the worst heat wave and like took about 2 days each time to fix it which never worked because it would break again. the complex manager Lauren is very sweet but Richardo is another story. I moved here with my boyfriend who is in the Marines. We had a 1 bedroom upstairs apartment at Hidden Cove II. I absolutely loved this apartment. It has beautiful flooring, updated kitchen, huge bedroom, high ceilings, and a large balcony. Everything about the stay was pleasant other than my downstairs neighbor saying she can hear just about every movement we make. They upkeep the facility, it's fairly quiet (other than the loud music at the pool that starts playing at 8:00am every morning). Everything was great until the move out. For being a large military community, this complex is not military friendly. My boyfriend got orders for Kuwait and so I took care of breaking the lease while he was gone. They do two move out inspections, one two weeks before the move out and one at the move out date. The one two weeks prior is to insure that all damages are taken care of. The only "damages" I had where 4 small holes in the wall where the tv stand was. The guy who inspected said "if a pen can go through it then we charge for it". Well a pen could not go through those holes regarding how tiny they were. I still spackled and sanded them to make sure. Also, they wouldn't accept my return of the keys a few days before the actual move out date. They said I could mail the keys in to make sure they received them on the date. Lastly, the move out charges for utilities were EXTREMELY high. It was $300 for all final utilities. I've lived in a few places and $300 is not right. I don't spend more than 10 hours at my place because of my job so how I racked up $300 of utilities is beyond me. The deposit was $750, they took the $300 utilities, $280 repairs for "damages" (the 4 holes), and $105 mandatory cleaning fee. We have about $90 left to a $750 deposit. I was so happy with this place until move out and these unnecessary charges. They made it hell to deal with this as my boyfriend is overseas on a completely different shift than I am and cannot be contacted immediately. This is not military friendly and they charge an arm and a leg to move in and move out. I recommend a different community. read more

My daughter lived here for about a year. I knew there would be trouble, the moment we stepped into the leasing office. But she insisted. The leasing office required her to purchase renter's insurance. *red flag* They also changed the terms of the contract several times, during the course of "negotiations" for the apartment. I told her to run from this place. She did not - and found out the hard way. EVERYTHING the other reviewers have negatively reported, is TRUE. Lol... I guess that's the thought that runs through my head when asking myself how can they label it as a luxury apartment. 1st off throw the lease out the window because even though you sign for. Specific amount every month expect 200-300 EXTRA charges. Such as pest control(never saw them come to our place once) and other add ons! Than let's talk about how you have to pay for a parking spot that isn't guaranteed. Next let's bring up the fact that my water has smelt like straight sewage since 1 month after I got here. You want maintenance to come out well that's going to be a HIDDEN CHARGE on your monthly rent bill of $25-50. And after they leave two days later the smell comes back it's so bad if you take a bath you just smell sewer water. Hidden coves should be hidden charges.. it's a straight joke. EVERYTIME I go to do my laundry all but TWO washers and dryers are "out of order" the gates are always broken. I was stuck in the complex for two hours before someone fixed the gates. Oh my gosh! Do not rent here... this place is scary! I have been living here for the past year, and they are charging me extra for not giving them beyond a 30 day notice. Threatened and are not giving me back my initial down payment let alone charging me extra for my apartment fees they haven't even seen yet. I will start with the "pros" of Hidden Cove Apartments that I have encountered. The ladies in the office are very nice including the male, I also greet maintenance anytime we cross paths. I have never had a problem with other residents, noise, or anything along those lines. No bugs. I am usually able to grab a parking spot near my apartment because I do not pay extra for my own spot. I have been warned twice for parking in Future Residents, thankful that I did not get a ticket or towed. Now just some aspects that I am not particularly complaining about because I had the option to observe before moving in however, others should be aware of. The apartments wood floors are very cheap and collect a lot of dust easily, A LOT. I came across mold around the bottom of bathtub. They waste a lot of water with sprinklers running being that there is barely any grass (most goes on sidewalk). The water from the faucet smells like sewer water sometimes. Overall just very cheaply made. The pools arent very clean or as clean as they could be. The laundry room is usually disgusting unless you get in right after they clean, hair and grit under the black strip of the washers, also the washers only carry about half of a regular "load" and that still barely gets your clothes clean. Washer is 1.50 Dryer is 1.00. Not worth it at all. I have not had an issue with my clothes being stolen however, i usually go to Grand Laundry. "Gated community" yet very easy for others to get in, a couple gates stay open. Now to what has pissed me off. I am ending my lease early and just recently about 3-4 weeks ago I had a flood in my apartment. I woke up for work and the kitchen was about 1-2 inches high of water as well as living room, storage closet, and coming into the bathroom and bedroom. It apparently was the neighbors fault, not exactly sure. I was not "charged" for any damage, however the water was half ass cleaned up. A day later I noticed water damage in the wood of the counter. Fast forwarding to the day where i was told that i would have to stay in a hotel and would be reimbursed for up to 150. As I did, came back the next day from work expecting things to be done, I walk into my apartment still being completely in process of getting the water out of the walls. So instead of being called ahead of time that my apartment would not be done and i need to stay another night, I had to be told in person after driving all the way back. As you can see no communication which i will often bring up after being understanding to everyone there multiple times. I turned in copies of my hotel receipts around October 20th. As of yesterday, November 7th, after coming in every other day and speaking to everyone except the only one who knows what i am talking about, I found out that my "reimbursement" was applied to the rent which was never discussed as an option. Again no communication as well as when I asked if I could get my lease ended earlier than my original date or have some money knocked off because I came in one day while the painters were still working to my door wide open, Air conditioning on and all of my lights except for the bedrooms ON. And i wish i would have taken a picture of the mess that they made my apartment into after throwing everything from the living room into my bedroom and not putting it back. I do not need to be contacted or have some lady reply to this comment with sorry bullshit. This review is so that others can be aware of a situation that should not have happened. Again very nice ladies, however that doesn't matter to me if you cant even take the time out of your day to communicate with your residents unless its in regards to late rent or whatever benefits you. The only nice thing about this place is the outside. But looks are deceiving. Just today I recieved a violation about having a window fan. I'm sorry but it's 90+ degrees outside and the air conditioner from the mid 80's doesn't work properly. Loud techno music starts playing around 10 am up to almost midnight. Roaches scatter when you turn on the lights. The noise from the lawn care crew starts as early as 8 am every day. Any problem you might have you have to take up for yourself. I asked if they could take care of the airconditioner of the upstairs tenant that was constantly dripping water onto my patio. They told me, did you ask them if they could put a bowl under the unit to catch the dripping water? Do your job and take care of the problem yourself. The gates are always broken. They're pretty much just for show. Dogs bark all hours of the day and night. Hidden fees start to show up when you least expect them after you've already signed a lease. Because of the market, expect to pay more for rent with each passing year if you decide to sign another lease. Needless to say, I don't think I'll be staying another 15 months. Oh, and don't expect to get your deposit back. No matter how much you clean up, patch up holes and make sure everything is in tip top shape, they will tack on every charge for what needs fixed. Even if the problem was there before you moved in, they will blame you for the damage.This place is a joke! read more
