Permanently closed at this address as of 2025. This is now a private residence and they do not offer riding lessons.

My boys just got home from Camp Nawakwa and had the time of their lives!…read more My older son was homesick and his cabin counselor, Squirrel, did amazing calming him and getting him involved. There was lots of activities and they had options so they could choose the things that interested them. Swimming, crafts, archery, drama, rock climbing. They had a dance and camp fires, they performed skits. When I went to pick them up my little one had lost his voice from singing and cheering so much. My homesick boy didn't want to leave... He even asked to go back for the next weeks session. Days later they are still singing their cabin songs and telling stories about what they did while they were there. I know my kids can't wait to go back and I'm so thankful they had this experience. And I'm going to make sure they return to Camp Nawakwa because they have made memories they will cherish for a lifetime...and they'll make even more in the summers to come

I wanted to take a moment to compliment you on the cleanliness of your camp! I was pleasantly surprised. Your staff were all very friendly, courteous, and helpful. I specially wanted to thank your head chef, (I hope I have the name right, Shawn?)I have a gluten free kid and he was so nice, and helpful. He completely went out of his way, his food was delish! He made my job of having to pack gluten free food obsolete! I am so thankful! All in all had a great time, we Will definitely be back!!! Public safety is also really wonderful with you and they're really caring. One of the Public Safety officers was comforting me when I was taken to the hospital on a suicide attempt at 18. This place also has an annual event called Take Back the Night where survivors of sexual assault speak out at the Fish Interfaith Center. Speaking of the Fish Interfaith Center, this place is also incredibly inclusive to people from different religious backgrounds. This place celebrates religious holidays for students from different religions. I find that really nice. I also love how this place allows people, who aren't Chapman students or staff, to come to this place. I met an older man who wanted to know how to find this place for an Iftar dinner. I showed him where it was and he went in here, and he got the food. This place has also been really wonderful to me when I was a victim of financial sextortion at 18. I met a lot of people who were amazing and kind to me after I shared with them about my experience. I had a case manager who comforted me when I was going through the trauma of this. I also had a professor who comforted me and told me that financial sextortion wasn't my fault at all. The 4th floor on the Argyos Forum is a great place for career fairs, and a great place to meet with potential employers. I got a chance to meet with a Secret Service employer who was such a wonderful man. This place also has wonderful areas to take your graduation photos from. In fact, if you come here during the months of April to mid-May, you'll find lots of graduating students posing for photographers.

First thing I noticed, the personal doesn't have any structure, they change my kid to another spot with bigger kids, I thought it was gonna be good but no. The teenagers were doing their thing as they know how to do it, my kid is new at that, she was just looking. Then she started jumping and copying what others do, the teacher move her from one foam tool so another one wanted to use it, and she was standing there nobody paying attention, actually they don't pay attention to nobody, kids do whatever they can with no lidership from the staff. I noticed other kids standing the same waiting for someone to help them. That's a shameful attitude. Also I noticed teachers arguing for the spots to use, this place is very unorganized, the price is fair, but because of that they should have professional people working with the kids, it could be fatal if they don't have instruction what to do and do it wrong. Is a huge place and the teachers or assistants are young, if they are doing this for the payment is terrible, management should hire loving people, patient and willing to share gymnastics skills, they go to play only, or to see other's doing flips. I hope this place makes the improvements needed. Finishing this month is the last class for my kid, because is paid, but definitely we are going somewhere else.

If your child is a beginner or needs help, don't expect much support. It honestly feels more like an open gym than an actual class. Coach Lexi, was very mean to my daughter, she made her feel discouraged and belittled her instead of building her confidence. It was really disheartening to see her lose motivation because of how she was treated. Also, the lady at the front desk is very hit or miss. Some days she's nice, and other times she's extremely rude, depending on her mood. It just doesn't feel like a welcoming or supportive environment overal. Last, be careful with the hygiene. My daughter has gotten hand, foot, and mouth disease from here. It's pretty gross. No proper cleaning, and during the summer, there's no A/C or good ventilation, it gets super hot and uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend this gym at all.
