This proved to be one of the best parts of the meeting. The food was very fresh. She used local fresh ingredients whenever possible. She was sensitive to the variety of dietary needs for our staff: from vegetarian, to vegan, and beyond. They made from-scratch hors d'oeuvres served to us out on the patio. They also accommodated our schedule for dinner, flexing the time the meal was finished to accommodate our evening activities. The staff thoroughly cleaned the kitchen afterwards. We had to start an email list of our attendees who wanted chef Becca's recipes, which she graciously agreed to supply to anyone who wants them. Our staff meeting planner found the prices to be quite reasonable for sit-down meal costs. Lastly, you may be able to find other great chefs, but it's not always easy to find ones that were so enjoyable. Our staff had so much fun with them in the house, they insisted that Becca and her crew join us for a glass of wine on the patio. They joined in like old friends in our conversation, shared some fun stories, and were very genuine in their interactions with us. I'll be honest, I was a bit apprehensive of how incredibly chill Rahul is at first (because I was already stressed out), but when I told him about our vision, he immediately checked with his chefs and created an incredible menu for us. My mom and mother in law's primary request was copycats of the other restaurant's corn fritters, and he even delivered on that. I'll attach a picture of the menu, but our minds were blown at the quality and freshness of the food. Buffet style brisket is HARD and he and his team crushed it. He stated that he would send me an estimate Wednesday. I received an estimate on Wednesday at 10:20 pm, which I accepted. This morning (Thursday), Jon replied that he would confirm everything with his chef and send me an invoice later. At 8:20 pm this evening, I got an email saying that Food Addiction would not be able to accommodate my event. I completely understand the last minute nature of my request but this company should've either turned me down immediately, or at least communicated this earlier in the day (phone call would've been nice). All of the other businesses Jon suggested were already closed for the day. In our communications, Jon tells me that I'm the very first person that their company has cancelled on. With only 3 reviews, I find that very hard to believe. I recommend considering an established local company with better business practices and communication for your event and avoiding Food Addiction at all costs.
