WOODBINE: Ludlam Island Brewery has a new location and a much bigger space and we were thrilled to be invited by Renee, the Marketing Director, to check out all the things this brewery has to offer. One change from their former spot is that leashed and friendly dogs are now only allowed outside, but with a good reason: they now serve food! The outdoor patio is spacious with 3 areas: a sunny spot on the patio with corn hole games, a tented deck with more tables, Adirondack chairs, and some shade, and also an outdoor bar. Have someone go inside to order and choose from a huge beer menu full of variety. We tried all of their featured beers: Oktoberfest, and 3 different pumpkin flavored beers. Did somebody say pumpkin spiced latte beer? You must order the "Becky!" 'Tis the season after all. Uniquely, they also offer cocktails using liquor from local distilleries. For wine lovers, there is a nice selection of red and white from local vineyards, and they also serve up non-alcoholic options. We love having so much to choose from. Food is available with an onsite kitchen serving up BBQ and sandwiches. They have a great merchandise area with t-shirts, beer glasses, and even doggy gifts like a water bowl, bandana, and treats! The staff could not have been more welcoming; special shoutout to Lorraine for being so sweet and helpful.

This was my first time at the new location. The facility is big. They have a pretty cool private party room. They have separate food and beer lines. You have to order at both and find a table. The buzzer lets you know when the food is ready. We wanted to sit under the tent outside but we couldn't figure out an easy way outside. It was quite a maze and no direction. Inside was fine. I hate those small metal stools. We shared a brisket cheesesteak and the wings. And fries. It was too much food for two. The fries were awesome. The wings were whole and cooked perfectly. Crispy and juicy. The dipping sauce was amazing. The cheesesteak was ok. The meat was plentiful. The cheese and meat ratio wasn't great. It was dry. The roll was delicious and held up to the meat. I don't think the sandwich did the brisket justice if that makes sense.

Good selection of Bar B Q. Black bean burger available as well as salad and sides for the veg crowd. 18 craft on tap. Full service bar. Plenty of parking and seating indoor and out.

I know why this place is like home. It's Almost Like Heaven. We were greeted by Lynn who was our bartender extraordinaire. She helped me discover the hidden favorites of here, which was good since I like the whole range of adult beverages. We all had the Salvatore, 547 An unfathomable Stout, Bear Trap, Plato Pink Guava and our expert friend had Just 2 More Miles, dessert was Mashing Pumpkins. The service and food was excellent, the ambiance was so welcoming from the moment we walked in that a person could get lost.

It was so great to visit the new spot for Ludlam and see the expansion to include food on premises. Very spacious local from the previous one and more family friendly environment. Ordered some food and the pulled pork and brisket were very tasty and tender. Staff is personable and attentive. Lots of parking space and a nice deck for the summer days playing corn hole or just to enjoy a cold beer outside

Stopped in on our way home from a day at the beach this week. We had never been here before but like trying new beers at breweries. We couldn't easily locate where the front door was from where we pulled in-it's in the front of the building-just park and you'll see it (in case there are trucks blocking the sign). The employee who waited on us was super nice. We each got a flight. It's a small tap room area but even being small we weren't on top of each other and it probably seats appropriately 15 people. They also offer a decent amount of merchandise. Good spot and definitely a good vibe!

We didn't even know they moved! Now trying out the new location it will be our new favorite place outside of ocean view. We loved it, the beer is cold and delish and the bartender was awesome! Can't wait to be back soon!

Great place, great beer, and our pet was treated like a regular customer. We think this place is a petty nice place to be hanging out at.

My personal favorite is their West Coast IPA, and the Coffee Pale Ale is also one of their best.

I've been there many times and the bartenders are always friendly and helpful. I like the fun and relaxing lighting in the brewery. They have two floors each with their own bar and bartenders. I've normally seen the upstairs bar open when it's busy season and during the summer. The beer flavors are light and refreshing. No matter the type of beer I never feel that it's heavy or too filling. They have a little bit everything - pilsners, stouts, sours, shandy and ipas. They offer flights as well. My wife doesn't like beers, but really likes the shandy. It's very family and pet friendly. You can also bring food to eat and snack on. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area and want a fun family friendly location while enjoying a refreshing, light beer!

There's tons of seating on the main floor, but there's also a huge upstairs area. They're the perfect spot for group events & allow outside food since they don't sell any here aside from bagged snacks. Check out their instagram for special dates for food trucks & other events. For beer, they have a wide variety of options & seasonal specials, so there's something for everyone. They also sell nonalcoholic craft sodas. I opted for a beer flight & got to choose my own 4 options. Everything I tried was very nice & I will definitely be back to try out some more. There was only one server, but she was on the ball with everyone's orders & happy to answer any questions.
