Very knowledgeable and teaches meditation. It's just a piece of land with some tents and trailers but gives you a nice relaxing feel, like Zen. There are lots of trees and plants, a little creek that runs through the land and 4 levels so you can do a hike up the mountain. I have ZERO physical yoga experience, and even as a remote learner, Tina makes learning the moves, breathing and the RELEASE so easy. The best part of this group, is no judgement. Doesn't matter if you're an expert or a newbie, you will get something out of it. I am repeatedly amazed by the simplicity of the moves, yet I can FEEL IT. I've also done an individual reading from Tina. AH-MAZING. So accurate. SO HELPFUL. And thought provoking in moving things to perspective, and a right frame of mind that eases. There is so much care, precision, and love dedicated to the space, making sure to keep the vibration as high as possible. Very accepting and understanding energy - which was super intimidating at first! I was able to center my Earth Star with Lori's help and it was really disorienting at first, but I knew it's what my soul really needed as I've been "out of body" for most of my life. I took a reiki 1 certification course and on the second day, she got weird. To me she felt a little paranoid of "bad energy" and even stopped the class to provide my sister and I a "reiki cleanse" as in her own word she needed "to detach" from the energy. I didnt think much of it at first and respected her judgement since I thought, "she must know what she's talking about" but after reflecting more on it and allowing time and my own search, I see it as unprofessional and almost borderline paranoid. Her anxiety got projected onto mine. Even my sister felt the same. The reason I went along with it was because I didn't know what to expect, I've never had an experience like that one as I was hoping to seek a more holistic humanistic one. Its been a year so maybe she's worked through that fear of her, who knows. But this was my experience when attending a year ago. Lots of "do and don't". Weird.

It is known for Yin Yoga, the type where you use breathing and hold the poses for 3-5 minutes. Please see my yin yoga photo poses. The majority of studios offer vinyasa or hatha or ashtanga which are faster flows. Here you can find power yoga and hatha as well. I'm big fan of heated Hatha...as it flows, but not too fast or demanding. The heat is like in low 90 degree F. I love all the teachers here. Also note that many of the yin classes run for 1 hr 45 min. There are not as many classes offered as a corporate studio, but I'm so happy this is here. Wondering the cost? It's reasonable. There is a free week for new people. There are many options: Single class $23, 5 classes in 1 month $200 $20 each), 10 class bundle (punch card) $170-$200 ($17 each), monthly $150-$170. The lower of the range is for auto-renew. So when you come to the 10th class on a punch card, your credit card will auto-renew. Pretty convenient. I am on the 10 class bundle cuz I have a pretty busy schedule. Sound baths are offered every 1st and 3rd Fridays at 7:30p, check website for $20-$25.
