Ordered wings and didn't include any drumettes
    Morris N.

Parking lot is small and unpaved, The inside is like a typical dive bar however was clean. The server was energetic and provided good service. Prices are reasonable. Burger and fries was good. Beer was cold. I would've given them 2 stars however I ordered wings and I was ripped off. There were no drumettes. It turns out that have a drumette special on Wednesday for I believe $0.50/piece. My guess is they save them for Wednesday.

This place is great. Fun local bar. Food is decent. Drinks strong. Nice bartenders. Even my low rent idiot friends liked it.

The overall experience is pretty good, but I don't think I would consider anything exceptional. The…read moreservice was very friendly. A few things to note, their cocktail menu is amusing because their specialty drinks mostly seem to be five different standard recipes with slightly different preparations to turn them into Mojitos or spritzes or margaritas. Do you want something with blueberries? Pick your preparation. All of them are too sweet. Their peanut butter crème brûlée was tasty, but doesn't really qualify as a crème brûlée. It was basically a runny, peanut butter flavored almost pudding. Their pizzas were really good though. Frankly, I was most surprised by the ambience. For a place that looks so big from the outside. It seemed really cramped inside I walked around all of the seating areas and it was the same everywhere. While they bill themselves as being on the water, you really can't see the water from any seat in the house from what I observed, even if you're out on the deck, which is terribly uncomfortable in July. We actually were seated at possibly the worst table in the house. In a back corner behind the first floor bar next to a window that only showed you the backside of another building and a sliver of grass. The upstairs seating is truly undesirable because they've converted an area that wasn't meant to have tables in. It is super cramped up there and also everywhere on the first floor. The only place with a little bit of elbow room is the deck. You know a place is to cramped when the servers have to negotiate moving between tables to avoid patrons and other servers.

The waterfront location is definitely the biggest draw here. Sitting outside overlooking the harbor…read moremakes for a really nice setting, especially during the summer. Unfortunately, the food just didn't live up to the view. We tried the nachos, mahi tacos and drinks, and while everything was fine, nothing really stood out. The flavors were what you'd expect from a lakeside bar. Service was very friendly, but overall the experience felt more like you're paying for the location than the food itself. I'd come back for a drink on the patio, but probably not for dinner.

They were extremely friendly and accommodating and had no problem getting all of us taken care of. I kept it pretty simple and got a burger and a beer. The burger was really good and everything came out well, especially considering how many of us there were. What really stood out though was the service. One person in our group is extremely picky about how she likes her steak cooked and ended up sending it back three times. Each time they were friendly about it and genuinely seemed more concerned with getting it right for her than being annoyed about having to remake it again. For us to come in with 25 people on such short notice and still have everyone be so friendly and accommodating was really appreciated. They handled our group incredibly well and never made us feel like an inconvenience. Definitely a 5-star experience and somewhere I would come back to.

It was a Trio Diavolo, a trio of protein with squid pasta, and a red sauce. I didn't understand that the proteins were diced bits that were stirred into the red sauce pasta. I actually thought the protein was separate from a side of pasta. It disappointed me because I generally dislike seafood in red sauce, but honestly, that wasn't their fault so I still gave them a high rating. Service was friendly and playful. Pretty efficient and seemed to like their job. It is a beautiful restaurant with a pretty amazing view, even if the water is at very sad low levels. Maybe this is natural, I've never been here before. All of the wildlife/birds really enhanced the experience. Flocks of seagulls (not the band), and surprisingly large number of pelicans were wonderful to watch. You can see the riverfront exterior and distant bridge in my standard and 360° photos. Traffic tonight was light especially for a Wednesday and during the Airshow. The server was prompt and checked on us often. For the food, I ordered the pretzel, brussel sprouts, and the Bam Bam shrimp tacos. I really loved the brussel sprouts. The pretzel IS in fact deep fried, I wanted to try it and I must say I will not order it again. For the Tacos, I don't know, I feel like they were talked up but left me wondering why they were special. I would not order these again if we came back to this tavern.

Service was prompt and very adequate. No complaints. Food: Beet salad was incredible and refreshing. The seared tuna salad was also very tasty. Both were very simple but done right. The burger was average. One pet peeve of mine was when asked what toppings not told there was a charge for everything, including mayo. Added lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion. This made a $12 burger $18. Caught off guard. Don't like that. The location and view made up for any short falls which there were few. Prices were reasonable and in-line. This is a good spot for lunch on the water. They also have live music!

I loved this place. From the charming location, local bar, and outdoor patio - it's a gem! What's…read moreeven better is that for a local watering hole, if your party is big enough they'll actually take a reservation, al biet, it will probably be outside, but still no waiting is a win, especially on a Friday night!! I was going to get the fish fry but my partner decided to get the walleye, so I swerved to the prime rib. Which, spoiler, even with the princess cut, is MASSIVE. Include the salad and soup for the table, you will not leave hungry- that's for sure. The bartenders are super friendly and will give you a great pour with some good conversation. Overall, I enjoyed this spot greatly. It's a solid dinner with friends and family that just makes your heart happy.

Outside bar took 15 minutes to get a drink (due to people there for Saturday music). Band speakers were loud + loud people talking over band (horrible band by the way), at 6:30 we were moved inside. Wait staff took our order and ordered the potato skin fries as an appetizer and our meals. Took 30 minutes for salads to appear but no appetizer. Was told the kitchen forgot and they would be out in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later cancelled appetizer. At 7:30 talked to owner to complain about wait time for food (60 minutes so far) and was told "we're very busy we have 150 people outside " (and then huffed off since we complained) maybe yea drinking your alcohol but not eating. Finally at 7:45 our food came. My 2 piece of deep fried chicken looked like it came from a deep fat fryer fire and even smelled burnt. You could actually use the leg as a nail hammer!! No apologies or nothing from ownership. Another issue is the "150" people coming in from the rain to use the bathrooms was not acceptable in our minds. If you're gonna have music outside, get portable potties.
