Ordered wings and didn't include any drumettes
    Morris N.

Parking lot is small and unpaved, The inside is like a typical dive bar however was clean. The server was energetic and provided good service. Prices are reasonable. Burger and fries was good. Beer was cold. I would've given them 2 stars however I ordered wings and I was ripped off. There were no drumettes. It turns out that have a drumette special on Wednesday for I believe $0.50/piece. My guess is they save them for Wednesday.

This place is great. Fun local bar. Food is decent. Drinks strong. Nice bartenders. Even my low rent idiot friends liked it.

Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. She was very helpful with the how to identify what is gluten free (there is a "gf" next to the item). Upon walking on, my very first impression was that it has a nice atmosphere. It has a nautical them which is natural since they're on the lake. The only downside is that most of the seating is bar stool but they do have some regular chair seating. We will come back!

Gorgeous space right on the lake and even though we were there in winter, it was still a pretty sight to look out the windows. The restaurant was packed with regulars and the it was a fun Friday night, I'm glad they took reservations. We started out with drinks, which had a separate menu. Not the easiest to navigate for the specials as they just had funny names and not what was in it. Overall my old fashioned was super sweet due the maple syrup, so I would probably just stick with your usual order. As for the food, the CHEESE CURDS were truly some of the best that I've had! Ooey, gooey, deliciousness! Perfect crunch and also melted in your mouth. The menu itself is very extensive and there is something for everyone to eat. I appreciated that most of the entrees came with a soup or salad, though I will say that none of the food absolutely wow'ed me. The dessert was interesting. The brownie was classic and the gluten free cheesecake..was gluten free. Very strange in my opinion, but appreciate that they have it as an option. Overall, I would definitely come here for a fish fry, a drink, and I can totally see this place hopping in the summer.

In fact, at 7 pm on a Thursday, there wasn't even a dozen people in the restaurant to begin with. Everything was decorated for Valentine's Day which was a cute addition. The domes are also heated which made things nice, but you can't really see the river which is the point of the domes. Additionally, our server didn't really check on us and it took a while to get the condiments missing when the food arrived. We ordered a variety of items with the ny strip being the best of what we tried. The au jus was rather bland, the fries were crispy but had no flavor, the fish was quickly soggy due to all the oil not being drained. We added on hush puppies to the fish and chips.... $5 for 5 hush puppies. Would not suggest doing that, not worth the up charge. There is an eclectic mix of things on the menu but nothing that would lead me to recommend someone to try this place. The beer selection was great however so if you are looking for a place to grab a drink, the tap room feels like a great option. The restaurant however is more for vibes than a quality meal.

We ordered over Fourth of July weekend and the fries we received were soggy crinkle cut fries. Nothing like what they normally serve. Last year during EAA we took family members from out of town after talking about how good the food was, only to be served nasty frozen hamburger patties. It was nothing like what they normally serve, and I felt bad for talking this place up only to have it be completely subpar. I understand during busy times that a restaurant's service can suffer, but to provide cheap replacements to cut back on their costs is completely unacceptable.

Located in the center of the Chain O' Lakes area, I'm sure this is a hot spot in summer. An amazing menu for this sports bar. They had a little (or a lot) of everything. I had the salmon with a bowl of one of their many soups. I wouldn't expect a bar to make great salmon, but they did not disappoint. I'd come back just to have it again. As far as the soups, I think they offered at least four. I ordered the Loaded Veggie (or something like that!). It was very good. Friendly staff, everything prepared well. Lots of interesting locals to talk to at the bar.

Even in the off‑season, it has that "weekend" energy, in a good way. If I lived here, this would be a primary hangout for a beer or two. They've got a solid tap list, nothing special but definitely better than your standard domestic‑only lineup. We ended up splitting a Cuban sandwich, which came with homemade potato chips which were quite good. But the real surprise was the jambalaya. Saw this after the fact but lots of Yelpers have been making note of this soup. Tons of flavor, great spice level, and it feels like something you'd never expect from a typical Northwoods bar menu. And yes, you can even take home a quart of the soup. Next time I am in Waupaca, I am bringing some home. The menu in general is what you'd expect from a place like this--burgers, wraps, sandwiches--but with more variety and more "made‑with-care" options than the usual lakeside joint. There's plenty of parking, and for warm weather months they've even got volleyball courts, which adds to that relaxed resort atmosphere. Overall: a great stop if you're in the area, and absolutely worth revisiting for that jambalaya alone.

We got on the list and settled in with a couple drinks. Despite my misgivings, it only took an hour to get seated. They took our order at the bar and we were seated by the window overlooking the lake. Unlike so many places back home, they actually had bottles of oil and vinegar for the salad. The Vegetable Soup was good and solid, nothing fancy. The Poor Man's Lobster was made with haddock which is fatty enough to work without being too dry like cod can. My husband loved the Chicken Cordon Bleu and the taste of that I got was so good. I finished with a slice of Cherry Pie and we took a long look over the lake before heading back to our cabin. Soup flights for the win!…read more A last minute invitation resulted in us finding a restaurant we will definitely check out again in the future! A short drive from the Fox Valley, I was startled to see such a nice pub and grill. Looks great from the outside and even nicer in the inside. If I lived close by, I'm sure I'd be there frequently. Plenty of televisions, gaming machines and a well designed layout. I was seriously impressed. The night we went, they only offered soup flights. We were told by our friends, who had been there several times, that they offer only pizzas, soups and appetizers. Our friends had not tried the pizza but said the appetizers are great. There were literally a dozen soups to choose from for our flights. I picked sausage tortellini, clam chowder and stuffed pepper for my flight. It also comes with a piece of cheese/garlic bread. Not only were the soups nice and hot, they were all tasty. This sentiment was shared by my dining partners. The staff were friendly and helpful. The drinks were reasonable and well made. The ambience was excellent. Definitely a place we will return to!

There was just the one man who I believe is the owner working in front and he was busy taking and filling orders the whole time we were in. We ordered the meatballs app and a sausage pizza. While the crust is not made in house, the thin style we went with was super nice and flaky/crispy and the pizza sauce slightly sweet. All in all it was a good meal.
