I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this place earned one. We walked in and there was absolutely no seating available, yet instead of trying to help customers, the staff seemed far more concerned about running a raffle than figuring out where people could sit or even acknowledging the situation. If you're going to host events that pack the place, at least have a plan for your customers. To make matters worse, our waitress had one of the worst attitudes I've experienced. She acted like we were inconveniencing her just by being there. There was no smile, no friendliness, and absolutely no effort to make us feel welcome. Good customer service doesn't cost a thing, but apparently it's too much to ask here. The entire atmosphere felt unwelcoming. We came out expecting to have a good time, grab some food, and enjoy ourselves. Instead, we left feeling like we should've gone somewhere else. There are plenty of bars and grills nearby that actually appreciate their customers. Between the lack of seating, the poor attitude, and the feeling that customers came second to the raffle, I have no reason to ever come back. I won't be returning, and I definitely won't be recommending Trading Post Bar & Grill to anyone. read more

Absolutely horrible service. Robin, the owner is absolutely horrid. She's so incredibly rude. If I could give a negative stars, I would. You would think a bar owner would be excited to see a group of women walking into their bar. Wrong. She was so unwelcoming. We left the bar as soon as we got our IDs back. It had nothing to do with her IDing us, and actually had EVERYTHING to do with how rude she was. Robin, you lost on a lot of money today. And to nobody's fault but your own. read more

Went to watch the packer game and grab some drinks. It was pretty busy, but service at the bar was great. Blood Mary was very standard, but it looked like they had a Bloody Mary bar on Sundays. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It had the feeling of a Northwoods cabin. Most people were also there to watch the game, which was great! Bar, kitchen, and dining room all looked clean. We did not try the food, but would like to go back in give it a shot. read more

I have visited several times since the new owners took over this past fall. Each visit is more disappointing than the previous, primarily due to the lack of oversight by the owners. Specifically, tonight I wanted a quick hamburger. I ordered at 7p, waited, waited. Was told by the waitress who took my order she was sorry, then went to a different part of the bar, did not return. At 45 minute mark I politely asked another waitress if there was a problem. She stated " there was a big table, but your order will be right out." Finally, at 8p, my overcooked burger arrived. At 815 I asked the female owner for my check. She looked at me, gave me a token for a free drink. At 830, still not receiving the check, I left a $20 on bar (I had no change) and walked out. Female owner was standing outside smoking a cigarette. This is a beautiful building, a nice setting but poorly managed. Much better food is available at a couple other area taverns, where they are grateful for your patronage. read more

Limited breakfast option is the breakfast sandwich and build your own Bloody Mary bar which included wings and burger bites. Great location and atmosphere. I recommend this place as a pub with food now. The breakfast sandwich (egg, sausage bacon cheese) is tasty and served with house made "chips". Previously I'd rate this place higher but it's not as good as it used to be I many ways. The service and food choices leave much opportunity for improvement. I recommend they open later Sundays to avoid the disappointment of such a limited breakfast menu. read more

Super friendly staff, cool atmosphere and great, filling food. Definitely would recommend and maybe stop by to watch a local sports game.

If there was an option to rate this particular establishment less than a one, it would get a zero. First, the service is less shawty, there was only one waitress, and it seems like there was a one man kitchen staff. I can't say anything about the food, mainly because I didn't get served, because the cook left, even though my order was taken ten minutes before. It was also littered with drunks, although this is not the establishment's fault. I am not saying you should not come to this restaurant, I am simply sharing my experience. -Shawn Gupta read more

We arrived late at 9pm at The Trading Post last Wednesday only to find out their kitchen was closed but they only had pizza available. I was apprehensive about it b/c we are from Chicago but we were hangry so we stayed. We ordered four pizza's, two peppronis, a Hawaiian and sausage and mushroom. They were thin and crispy just the way I love my pizza. They were all surprizing so yummy! I hope to come back the next time I am in these neck of the woods and try the rest of their menu and definitely their pizza again. They also make some pretty good Old Fashions. Absolutely ATROCIOUS service. Our group walked in about 6:30, and they immediately started treating us terrible. Our waitress had a very rude attitude. When we were asked what we wanted to eat, she gave us strange looks. And after that we never saw our waitress again. We waited an hour and fifteen minutes and then just got up and left. We saw people around us being served, but not us. The menu options were very limited and there was hardly a variety. I would not recommend anyone coming here, unless you want to want to be provided terrible service. read more

The breakfast there is the bomb. Have eaten there a few times and never been disappointed. Today we ate on the patio and watched the birds. Breakfast potatoes are awsome. Breakfast for two only cost us $12.50 where can you get fed for that? The waitress was very friendly and attended all our needs. Emily even brewed a huge fresh pot of coffee. read more
