Let me start by saying I went to college in Stillwater and ate hideaway several times.. a week. Most of my friends even worked there. We loved it and I always come back whenever I'm in Oklahoma. Due to the pandemic, it's been longer than usual since I've been back home so you can imagine how much I've been looking forward to my hideaway meal... cheese sticks, pepperoni thin crust and a Dr Pepper. Well, tonight was finally the night and imagine my shock when the cheese sticks arrive and they look like the crappy little ones you get from frozen section of grocery store! You know the ones were if you cook them a minute too long, all the cheese explodes? What happened to the big square cheese sticks I grew up on?! It's been 20 years and nothing ever has changed at the hideaway. The consistency is what makes it great. You can always count on hideaway being the same great pizza and food. Please please bring back the usual cheese sticks!! I'll be back in a year and I want to continue the tradition of eating here. There was a about 15 minute wait here, but it was worth it, the people I ate with said the fried mushrooms were great, the people that were working here were young but most were great, other than the few that would talk for a few seconds whenever they walked past each other instead of working, they gave me a refill without even asking in my drink. We were on our way back to Texas from a quick trip to Missouri for a funeral when we decided to call in a pizza for carry-out to eat on the way home. Once again, Hideaway Pizza did not disappoint. The pizza was AMAZING...made just the way we ordered it (we combined two different speciality pizzas and made a few other changes)!!! We like Hideaway. The food is great. Excellent pizza, great salads, tasty appetizers. The service at the Yukon location, however, is often sub-par. If you have a large party, you will get service. If you are just a couple, and it's busy, forget it. Don't waste your time. Somehow, Hideaway needs to get their staff to understand that customer service needs to be a priority. Sure, tips are larger for large parties, but ignoring your other customers will hurt your business. The Hideaway on NW Expressway is far better. Their staff understands customer service, and does a much better job than the Yukon location. The North location is good as well. The Yukon location needs more training, and they need to care about their job. read more

I have been to hideaway a lot and never had an experience like I did today. We order our food they bring everyone's food but mine, I'm thinking ok it will be right out. My mom got a sandwich which she said no vegetables and we tell the waitress because it had lettuce on it and she said "I didn't know lettuce was a vegetable" meanwhile it's been ten minutes or more and I still have no food, I ordered Mac and cheese. We finally caught our waitress and she said "oh man I forgot to put yours in." How did you just miss one persons food? There were only 2 other adults and one child. I placed a To- go order and was told it was only going to take 20 minutes to make. I showed up and was waiting for 25 extra minutes and was lied to when I kept asking how long it was going to take. The bartender kept saying "it's coming out of the oven", "no longer than 3-4 minutes"... the manager then came out to apologize and after me waiting 45 minutes, he then told me my order had been skipped and it was being prepared for the oven. I like Hideway Pizza's product. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean. However the restaurant in Yukon has the worst acoustics of any restaurant I have been in. You cannot hear your server, your dinner guest, much less yourself. All in all it makes for a very poor dining experience. It is a shame, since it is in a good location and is a nice building. If they could keep the echoing down it would be nice. read more

This is the worst managed Hideaway ever. Every single time we come here they are out of what we order! They desperately need new management that knows how to purchase their raw products. I mainly come here for their Alfredo Pasta and this is the third time this month that they are out! Seriously you have several menu items that have Alfredo? WORST HIDEAWAY LOCATION IN OKLAHOMA. Only thing close to par was the waitress. Who was totally embarrassed by the food and cooks. My 1st experience in Yukon. Will not return. Ck #317. Stuck in a corner. Seemed like we were forgotten, finally over an hour later our food comes. Half of party had to leave because of poor service. No time for dinner. Then food finally arrives. Chicken strips hot, everything else COLD. Pizza crusts r burnt around the bottom edge. And the pizza was cold, huh? Sent mine back. When I finally got it back the rest had eaten . And were,ready to leave. So now mine is cold again and sitting on kitchen cabinet. Because mine came in a to go box. An hour and a half in a corner, forgotten until we sent others to find out something. $100 later and half had no dinner, the other half choked it down cause they were starving. We drove past MANY other restaurants but of our love for hideaway. Tulsa has this place beat in every way. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Well just went to eat my dinner, not even 1/3 of my order is in box. Pasta and ingredients r not mixed and bread is not toasted. Let me begin by saying that the food is awesome and it's great to have Hideaway in Yukon! It's a little pricey, but usually worth it. Sunday of Memorial weekend, I called in an order for pickup and was treated with great courtesy over the phone. The person assisting me was very nice to offer information of which I was not aware. However, when I arrived to pick up my pizza (which was to have been ready in "about 20 minutes") I was in NO way acknowledged by the 3-4 employees circulating through the register area. Thirty-five minutes later after having watched numerous people come and go with their orders, I approached the register and asked if my pizza was about ready. Within a very short span of time, it was ready minus the beverage I ordered, and I was on my way. So...their mess up or mine? Granted, I didn't wait in line at the register to pay for my pizza when I walked in the door, but I presumed that I would be acknowledged after the customers in line picked up their order and went about their business. In my opinion, their customer service in the carry-out section is greatly lacking, thus the rating of "2". read more

A week ahead of time we made a reservation for 7pm for a large group. We arrived at 6:45. They had our reservation written down at the podium. But we were told that was just a "heads up" not a reservation. They said they don't do reservations despite the fact that they took our reservation and even wrote it down and taped it to their podium. They said it would be an hour and a half wait. If you are expecting consistently good tasting food, decent service by trained employees and food precisely as you ordered it then this is the wrong place for you. The way food is cooked and the taste and quality of it varies too often and its impossible for anyone to tell you what it tastes like from one trip to the next. Today I ordered their speciality, fried mushrooms. And they are very good -- if you like fried mushrooms as much as I do -- when they are prepared right. They give you a Ranch Dressing dip and a red dip to go with this dish; lately they've been asking if you really want both dips; I can only assume why they now what to shortchange you out of both dips; but I told her today at length that I wanted both dips and why. She puts that on my order. So I get it home and the Ranch Dressing dip is not there. I had to run to Homeland to get some. Last time the mushrooms were burned. When they are good they are really good. What they don't tell you is that is a 1 in 5 shot. If you have the temerity to do the carry-out good luck with that!! Prepare to be abused by young, bizarrely dressed and attired staff with little to no training. Incompetent staff rules carry-out. They don't care, it's all about them and they go out of their way to let you know they don't have to be kind or courteous to you. Oh, if you want a receipt and you had a carry out order be prepared for a game they play. When the food is good, like the pasta paradise dish, it is excellent!! The problem is you are not going to get it good consistently. Not at all. The reason tonight is my last night is I'm tired. It shouldn't be this hard to get a consistently cooked meal by properly trained, courteous staff. It's definitely not worth the abuse they put you through. The wait to be seated was twice as long at they said it would be. The service was slow. At one point our server was watching tv. Very frustrating experience. We enjoy Hideaways other locations and have always had a great experience there. Won't be back to this location. read more

Love Hideaway Pizza but won't be visiting the Yukon location again. Even after moving and informing staff about the disgusting condition of the floor under our booth, (large pieces of food and trash) they seated another party there without cleaning. I ordered my pizza and sandwiches from their online menu, and when i arrived to pick them up the first thing that should have been a red flag was my order was under a different name than mine. The employees verified it was mine and said the "guy" taking the orders did funny things like that ha-ha. Well-the pizza was messed up-things i wanted off it were still there and it was wrong crust and very done.The girls working there behind counter sighed, and said that they would make me a new one-another sigh from them. when the replacement pizza was done-i discovered it too was different from what i wanted and ordered from-the online menu.The girl behind counter told me the items had changed on that pizza-and showed me a Paper menu. When i replied that the Online pizza had different toppings from the pizza on the paper menu,she stonily said she "guessed they could make another one. Dining at this restaurant and waitress did not know what MtDew was. Wanted to know if it was a draft beer. Proceeding to order and I am told they are out of bacon and thin crust. Their menu says thin crust prepared daily. After order is placed waitress comes back to say they are also out of chicken. I asked her if this was just this store or all the stores in the area and waitress says that it is just this store and they were not prepared to handle the volume during Christmas. Called in a to-go order of a ATW hand tossed pizza. Went to pay and pick up, and while I was waiting, I was informed that they kitchen burned my pizza. I could see into the kitchen, where the employees were singing, dancing around, and playing grab-ass. After a little longer wait, I did receive -2- boxes of pizza. They tried to give me the burnt pizza also. Got home with the unburned pizza, and found out that the middle was not even done. I ordered hand tossed, and that's exactly what I did with the pizza.
