First, the whole vibe is so good. The employees all have smiles on their faces. The music is great, and decor is funky. The service was impeccable. There is a gentleman server named Rudy (I believe) who is just the absolute best. He always keeps my drink refilled and checks on me without being overbearing. The food is really good. The pizzas I've tried are outstanding. I haven't tried any of the pasta dishes yet, but someday. During lunch on weekdays, they have a special where you get a half pizza and half salad (or other combinations like pasta). The portion sizes are very filling. On Rudy's recommendation tonight, I tried the olive oil cake. It was the star of the show. Don't let the name fool you. The ricotta, honey, and fig jam is a combination I didn't know I needed in my life. Overall, this is an excellent restaurant to try. First time for lunch with work crew so no adult bevvies were had. Ordered the lunch special 1/2 salad 1/2 pizza. I don't remember which salad I ordered but it was fan-freakin-tastic!! The pizza was the roasted chicken & OH-EM-GEE!!! The flavors! THE FLAVORS were out of this world. It was too much for lunch so I had leftovers for dinner. The only downfall (for me) is the open atmosphere so convos were distracting when I was trying to hear others at my table when they were speaking. But that's a ME thing, not a them thing. Was pretty underwhelmed and I feel like I'm super easy to impress. I love Hall's, Daddo's, hell even Dominos. This is some of the floppiest, greasiest pizza I've ever encountered. It's almost impossible to eat. If I could do it again, I think I would knife and fork. I get that authentic Neapolitan pizza is floppier than standard American pizza, but this was so floppy that each slice degloved itself and all the toppings fall off immediately, even with a fold or two hand technique. The Gusto Pepperoni was delicious flavor wise, but had literal pools of oil/grease on top of it adding to the avalanche as soon as you try to lift it or separate it from another slice. The Italian Sausage was less greasy and easier to eat, but underwhelming from a flavor perspective. The pesto rarely came through when it's supposed to be the main sauce. The Tuna Conserva salad was horrifically bland. I know that it's a simple salad, but based on the description, it should have a lemon vinaigrette flavor profile, which it did not. The only slight flavor came from just the default olive pungency, which is pretty crazy to be the star of the show. I am actually questioning if the dressing was even on it. Some lemon slices or salt/pepper/olive oil at the table would have been nice. The basil buttermilk and marinara sauces were both delicious as side sauces, but had to carry pretty hard. Also, not that I really care about this one, but it was cut so sloppily that it borderline looked like an intentional insult, some of the slices were literally like 2 inches and others were 7 inches. Just comically lazy. I get that it's a vibe in some pizza kitchens to flex how fast you can shittily cut a pizza, but on the customer side, it's preposterous, like Pizza Hut level absurdity, lol. All in all, I see some shades of a good restaurant, but overall it's just not for me. read more

I was excited to try this pizza spot! There is crazy road construction going on right in front of it right now, so it was kind of hard to even get in the entrance. But I was attending a private retirement reception, and it was in a cute little room. Too small for our party, but cozy. Our server was great! He kept the appetizers stocked and drinks flowing. Went to a retirement event here (in the side room). We had one server assigned to us and he was great! The room was packed (about thirty people) but the restaurant set up small bites on the side. We had our monthly Book Club dinner here and it was so yummy! It was an easy pick for us as we did not realize that they have Happy Hour all day on Tuesday & Wednesday! So we took full advantage of the cocktails and appetizers! The fried calamari and mozzarella were soooo good! A friend and I shared the Muschroom-Roasted Garlic pie which was cooked to perfection. We expected a rich flavor in the sauce but it turned out to be watery tomato sauce that lacked flavor. The pizza was doughy and not crisp as it should have been coming out of the brick oven. Another solid offering from the Big Truck Tacos fam. Amazing service with amazing food, I can't believe it's taken me so long to come here. We had arancini, whipped ricotta, salad, and a pizza. And a bottle of wine. Pizza comes out nicely "leoparded" on the underside of the crust, but not overly so. Loved sitting at the bar, service was super attentive and the restaurant is really cute, but not pretentious. Delicious pizza, I ordered the queen margherita pizza, and it's one of the best pizzas I've had in the metro. I got the lunch portion personal pizza and small Caesar salad. The romaine was reddish on several of the leaves so, the manager came out and replaced with a house salad. I would say service was exceptional during our lunch visit. 5-Star Experience -- Excellent Pizza and Great Service I stopped by this pizza spot today with my significant other, and we had a great experience overall. She ordered the Margherita pizza with a Caesar salad and an appetizer, while I went for the sausage pizza, a Caesar salad as well, and the calamari. First off, the service was attentive and friendly from the moment we walked in. The pizzas were excellent--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with hand-tossed dough. You can really taste the difference. The calamari stood out for me. It was tender and easy to bite through, which tells me it was fresh and properly cooked--unlike some places where it turns rubbery or tough. Now, we did hit a small bump with the Caesar salads. The lettuce looked a bit old and didn't taste fresh. I mentioned it to our server when they checked in, and they handled it perfectly--offering to replace both salads with house salads instead. Those were much better: crisp, fresh, and full of flavor. Honestly, I think it's a great sign when a place handles issues well. Perfection isn't always expected, but how you respond to feedback says a lot--and they nailed it. Because of that, this is a solid 5-star experience for me. Wonderful evening, but the pizza was the biggest disappointment of the night. Toppings were spot on but atop a soggy crust just turned into a flop. Honestly, big let down but keep reading because they have so much more to offer. Ordered a little bit of everything for appetizers. Arancini, Brussels sprouts, hot wings, artichoke hearts... Was planning on snagging some pictures but we devoured it. Apps are so well done on such a high level. Wings are thick, perfect amount of heat, great breading. Best wings I've had in OKC for sure. The arancini are a mozzarella ball rolled in risotto and fried...so good. I'd go on, but we cleared the dishes before I could snap a pic so it was that good. Would recommend just stopping in for drinks and apps any chance you are in the area. Side salads were fine, but got the roasted carrots, fennel and Italian sausage with the salad course to try a menu outlier. It should be an appetizer, as it's small but great to share with the table. 7 out of 10. If it was finished with a touch more acid (maybe reduced balsamic or a thick fig glaze) it would really shine. Now to the pizzas, got the mushroom and roasted garlic and also the pepperoni. Flavor was great but again, so soggy the crust just flops over and all the toppings fall off. Big disappointment. I'd stay away from the pizza and try a pasta dish or something else if I go again. If I was only doing pizza this would be a 2 out of 5 but they have so much more going on. The table they gave us just kept constantly moving. Which yes, they did apologize for it, but I would have rather waited on another table to be open in a few minutes than deal with that. I really love this pizzeria because of the brick oven, how thin and crispy the crust is, you get plenty of toppings on your pizza unlike some other pizza places and they have a good selection of other options for those who may not want pizza. PG's Is a Neopoliton pizza restaurant, and they produce great pizzas. The weather was great, so I asked for outdoor seating. The outdoor dining area is quite nice. It is secluded with a tall privacy wall, is shaded by a lovely tree, and has a fireplace. It's quaint and very pleasant. I ordered the Italian sausage personal pizza with house salad. I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. The salad was quite nice. I asked for Ranch dressing, which they don't have. The server suggested a dressing that was creamy, with subtle flavors. It was OK, just OK.
