Sigh. I had great service from a bubbly teenager, but the food continues to be uninspired. The pizza is generic. I think they've tried too hard to please the masses and have missed the mark on what makes a truly good pizza. The pizzas are always over sauced, over cheese, and over topped. I'm all for simple pizzas with quality ingredients. The appetizers are fried from frozen. Probably the worst mozzarella sticks I've ever eaten. Don't even go near the sandwiches or pasta. Hideaway Pizza is just fantastic Pizza. You just cannot go wrong here. When getting pizza from Hideaway, my go to's are the Pepperonipalooza(I just love me lots and lots of pepperonis!) and the Boz(which includes Hideaway Red Sauce, Mozzarella, Cheddar, Bacon, Pepperoni, Sausage, Jalapeño, & Red Bell Pepper). While the pizzas are down right fantastic(including the Sauce amount in the pizza, which is a huge thing for me!) I cannot finish this review without mentioning their amazing fried mushrooms! Now...I do not typically eat mushrooms...at all. In fact I will spend way too much time picking them out of other meals...BUT! Put a a plate of fresh, hot Hideaway Fried Mushrooms in front of me and I might knock out the whole plate! They are amazing! I can't quite explain how impressive it is to me that someone who does not eat mushrooms will willingly inhale these Fried Pieces of perfection! First off, I want to acknowledge that our visits to this particular Hideaway have been "meh" at best. Typically it's okay. Not bad. But not great. My wife is one of those picky people who ALWAYS requests extra sauce, yet rarely receives it. This place has always had to remake every single pizza of hers, every single time. However. This visit? Above and beyond. We ordered delivery through a third-party delivery service as neither of us wanted to leave once we got home. This is the same third-party service we use regularly. Granted, it is hit-or-miss most times, but I digress. We ordered two pizzas: one small with hamburger, red onion, and bbq sauce; one medium with hamburger and I quote, "extra heavy red sauce". Our order was placed and delivered within an hour or so. I opened my box, (the small), and it looked fine. Opened wife's box, and wouldn't ya know it? Completely wrong. It was cheese on very light bbq sauce. Nothing like we wanted. I opened the app and compared it to the receipt. I wasn't crazy - I DID order what she wanted... but what was on the receipt was NOT correct. I sent the thingy about having an issue with my order to the third-party service, but we went ahead and called the restaurant anyway. The young lady who we spoke with was very kind and explained that they are not affiliated with the service but she remembered our order because a woman ordered it, but then called back to cancel. Huh? We are looking at our pizzas so I explained a man dropped it off but it was incorrect, yada yada. I just wanted to make them aware. Then she tells me that our pizzas are actually there. Our CORRECT pizzas. So she says she's going to have me speak to the manager. Manager gets on the line, I explain it, and I asked if I can just come get the correct one, which I will pay for, we just want dinner at this point and it's already made... she offers to remake it for FREE. That was totally unexpected but so considerate of them. TL;DR - Hideaway made an issue right that wasn't on them. I appreciate the customer service they showed this evening. BIGLY! read more

Pizza had no pizza sauce no taste. It was pretty awful. For what my family paid it was disappointing. Advice given don't eat there.

By far the worst experience I've had at any place up in okc. I normally over look the accidents or wrong orders. But from the moment I walked in with my family. We were treated as second class citizens. The hostess didn't want to book a reservation for 8. He told us it was an hour and fourth four mins. We said ok cause we were still waiting. Once they sent us the message. We walked in. Before we could walk 2 mins inside from where our cars were parked they gave our reservation away. They split us between two tables, got our orders wrong, and completely ignored us. I normally tip half bill and have never left a review before. I made a new yelp account just because the terrible service here. If you are a conservative, and have conservative values. This place is not for us. Yummy! We ordered The Xtreme pizza with extra jalapeños and green chilies. Their hand tossed crust was perfectly cooked, surprising since our pizza was loaded with ingredients! We like that they are always consistent in their product. Service is usually on the slow side. Tonight we got our pizza pretty quickly (usually a long wait) but our waitress had to be flagged when our drink order was wrong. Having it right next door to work :) They have been open for a few days, that would be my guess as the servers and the managers are still trying to get everything figured out. I foresee this place getting packed al the time, so it might be a good idea to beat the crowds and get there early or towards the end of the lunch break. Four medium pizzas, fried mushrooms and pickles is not worth over $77. The pizzas were just... ehh. I'm a thin crust kind of girl but the regular crust was better than the thin. They all had burnt spots on the bottom. The fried mushrooms weren't done all the way and some of the breading was gooey. The pickles were the only good thing of this meal. read more

So the food is excellent. The only reason we keep coming back. But the last few months the service has been pretty bad. We usually get to go or curbside, and they don't have it ready until 30 minutes AFTER they said it would be ready. Sometimes 45 minutes. And half the time our order was also wrong. First time here. Just passing through. I may crave this pizza when I get back home. It was cooked nicely, and the cheese was golden. The hand tossed crust has less calories than thin crust according to the menu. It was very good!! The salad and ranch dressing were very yummy as well. The staff members were polite and attentive. This was our first visit to Hideaway and will not be our last! We arrived at 6pm for the two of us and no wait. Our waitress was FAB and was able to suggest some drinks. Another updated review. Went to the bar and Kali took care of us. If you like beer so cold it frosts in the glass this is your place. The wedge salad is delicious and the pizza was great. Bar service with Kali is perfect. Hideaway is doing a great job! Happy to write a new review today because the experience today was great. Kali at the bar was awesome and we had great food with absolutely no wait. With a different experience the last time it seems this location has done some changes to make their experience better and we saw the change tonight. Very happy with our meal! Just finished our meal and I must say there is a lot of work to be done in this location. When there is an over 45 minute wait with multiple tables open, that is a major problem. When there are 3 hostesses but no one to bus tables, that is also a problem. The food was mediocre. My sons dessert was burnt, and we had to remind the waiter to bring it to us. Please work on your no wait app and yelp app. Open tables with angry customers leaving equals lost revenue. Will probably go to another pizza place for our next pizza dinner. read more

We love Hideaway! We have eaten at many of the locations and have never had a bad experience. The food is always delicious and service is great! Our favorite pizza is Da Bomb - featuring pepperoni, pineapple, basil, and a delicious balsamic glaze. The fried pickles are fantastic and recently we tried a new pizza that has become our favorite- The Pollinator! This pizza has two meats I believe, a garlic sauce, banana peppers, and it is drizzled with honey! This is usually my favorite place to eat... but the other day a guy named Garrett was helping my family and I and just gave the worst service I've ever experienced at Hideaway. Every time I'd ask for something he would give nothing but attitude and roll his eyes at me. I asked for straws and he basically threw them at me (chucked them if you will).
