I went to this small Persian sandwich shop in North Vancouver before heading up to Whistler and Squamish for the weekend. We stopped by quite hungry and wanted something different, so we entered into this small mom-and-pop joint and as a result, I was quite surprised by what we ordered. I personally got the super special sandwich. It includes hotdog, beef and chicken slices with the bread being so thin but still manageable in your hand - I felt like a majority of the sandwich was all of the stuffing like the grilled vegetables, the sauces, and the meat that made the sandwich so tasty. By the end of it, I didn't feel like I was eating a ton of carbs, and every once in a while, a sandwich like this one here will definitely leave a good, lasting effect on you. The overall restaurant was quite clean inside; it was quite sanitary. They had some bathrooms that you could use. Another thing that I also tried was some Persian fruit soda. It was again quite good. I ordered a fruit medley one, and it paired up well with a sandwich, although greasy, it paired up well. Would I return to this place? Yes, I would. I would definitely go here if I am heading up to Whistler for the weekend and wanted to stop for a quick sit-down lunch. Although you could take this for takeout, I wouldn't because of the mess and grease that ensues. read more
