Two years ago, my wife and I moved into a small hillside house in the Hollywood Dell, inheriting a somewhat vintage surround system in the living room that was in poor repair and lacked the proper connections for modern flat screen TV. I found a local installer with good reviews who managed to make the system work with our Samsung TVs, but the whole setup was iffy and it was almost impossible to trust that anything like the Roku would consistently work. Holy cow, our system was mess: The original installer complicated everything and then rats chewed through the wires and cables.
