I see the reviews are all over the place. I can only address my experience. I was referred by my PC for shoulder pain. He send me for xray first then mri which showed bone spurs and muscle tears so of course rotator cuff surgery. Scheduling was smooth and without delays. Surgery was Sept 13, 2024. My daughter, who is an RN, 20+ years came over to help with removing the bandaging. Cleaned it up and said it was an excellent, clean incision and the stiches were "pretty". He is informative, direct and to the point. He answered all questions and made sure i understood the answers and did not waste my time. I cannot tell you how much i appreciate that approach. Would I go to him again? Yes, because i tripped and head-butted my concrete side-walk, caught myself on knees, nose and hands/arms. Tore two tendons left shoulder and two tendon right shoulder. Surgery on right shoulder SAP after medical clearance in two weeks. Office waits? In my experience wait time is around 15 min plus or minus 5 min. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Please see my other reviews regading Dr. Pathi and his staff. My goal is to help as many people as I can to not go through what I have, and am still going through after my botched surgery from Dr. Pathi. I cannot express how much pain, both physically and mentally that I went through. I have attached photos of x-rays of my broken wrist - what my wrist looks like now. It's shocking Dr. Pathi clearly did not now how to perform the surgery I needed yet he still went through with it. What's more shocking, he offered to do a second surgery to remove the plate and screws and to shave a bone down THAT DIDN'T NEED TO BE SHAVED! He literarily was going to perform a second surgery on me that was again going to be incorrect! I cannot imagine how my wrist would be if I didn't advocaat from myself. Providence hospital IS STILL RECOMMENDING HIM TO PEOPLE! If you need a great surgeon, go to Dr. Rose in Newport Beach. Yes, it's far but I promise you, he and his staff are amazing! The quality of customer service doesn't compare to the incompetence of what I experienced with High Desert Orthopedics AND with Providence Hospital. read more

I'd think twice before choosing High Desert Orthopedics. They said I needed surgery Nov. Because if covid 19 I had to wait. After two months, I called and found out they never submitted a referral . They kept calling to make more tele-visits. On the second appointment. I explained I cannot walk. I need a leg brace. Dr Pathi said he would submit a referral. I waited another week. Still nothing. They called me again to schedule another tele-visit....i explained I can't walk.i asked what happened about my referral. They had no record of it. I called my GP and got keg braces in 3 days. Now my other leg is giving out due to shifting body weight to it. I received a referral for it. When they called to make another tele-visit I asked for a temp. Handicapped permit. The Dr said no problem. Drop off the form plus he would submit a referral for MRI on other leg. I dropped it off and paid a $15 fee. A day later they call me to schedule physical therapy for the operation I never had. 7 days later. They call me to talk about the operation. I asked about the MRI referral. The scheduler said she would call me back. Hours later I called and talked to a different person. He said the referral was just submitted an hour ago. No call back about picking up parking permit. I can't walk without severe pain. My can't drive. I can't park close to a store. I can't buy groceries. I've never been treated like this before. I think I was blacklisted by the staff because I complained. If I wasn't, I will be now. read more

I've been calling for 3 days hoping to get an authorization put through because I have a bone fracture. By day three I believe everybody should have known me by now I had to do all the footwork myself between the insurance company and this company. So when I called and said that their authorization was approved I asked if I could speak to somebody to get scheduled. They said they'd call me back. I waited two hours I called and said you know I'd really like to figure out what's going on I've been walking around with a bone fracture for 7 days and I've gotten no help and you know at this point I'm weepy I'm sad you know and the guy says it doesn't matter whether she calls you back now or in 3 hours from now You're not getting an appointment today. Is that what I asked for an appointment today I don't think so but I would like to know what where my future lies. And if they're going to put off seeing me then I'll take my business somewhere else. My husband received below par treatment for a fracture. He had to go to see another Orthopedic for adequate care. After which we paid our bill in full and requested a "0" balance statement, which was denied to us. We have never been denied a zero balance statement after services have been paid in full at any medical facility. There reasoning was that if something were to come up later, they could charge us for it. We were lucky to have had a small bill, however if you are anticipating a large bill or really any services, I would stay clear. If they are not honest with payments and unable to give you a zero balance statement once all payments have been paid, why would anyone do business with them, if they could decide at anytime to charge you a different amount later and as the another reviewer states they have problems with records, it's possible that they could loose your payment and charge you again later for services already paid. read more

This Dr.s office is a fraud. Never ask for medical records. hey demand $75 and then never provide the records. Over and over again it continues to happen. I am surprised this doctor has not been taken to court over this yet. It could be that his staff is chasing the checks and putting the money in their wallet. i have never been there, but I can imagine this place must be a S**t hole. His staff is nothing more than lazy lumps who cannot figure out how to complete basic tasks. read more

In the last couple of months one staff member in the physical therapy side has treated me with so much disrespect. My Mom has Cancer... was told she now is on Cancer for life. They had given her 5 years when she was diagnosed and now we were ending year 3 going into year 4... knowing and watching the possibility of myself bringing home germs because of my low immune system. ..I took all precautions including wiping down all equipment tables and anything that another person used that the staff was unable to wipe down before I was to use it. But there was one staff member that had a problem with me doing that and would always make a comment when I would do so when it would take just a few seconds to grab a wipe and wipe down the grips of the hand bike that a another person had used that just got off it that they did not wipe off and they had sweat on cuz they were on it for 10 minutes and I wasn't going to use it right after them.... we don't know if they washed their hands after they went to the bathroom, if they touch their face, their nose if their hygiene is up to par. I'm not going to put my MOTHER'S SAFETY HEALTH ISSUES. ..LIFE in the hands of this office or any other office... if I want to wipe it down I have the right to do so without a staff member making a comment and being rude to me and doing so there is no reason that I should not be able to make sure that I take every precaution possible to make sure I protect my Mother who has Cancer that has been told at the time could pass away at any time so I would go into therapy with that thought in my head and this staff member made me cry several times for the fact that no concern of the fact that my mother was hurting and in pain... could pass and she focused more on the fact that I was wiping down equipment something or somebody's armpits was laying across the table or their hands were sweating on the arm grips and I wiped it down she focused more on that than focusing on working on getting ME BETTER working on my carpal tunnel, on my shoulder, on getting me better she would sit there and watch me like a hawk and make sure that I was not wiping things down I was doing those things rather than getting the exercises and her bonding as a staff member and me as a patient she did not do that so it has made it to where she... (Now she is up front).. will not make my appointments, she will not when I call in to make my appointment she puts me on hold and has the other front office person make the appointment for me. I have been kicked out of the hallway because the office across the bench from me went to see if I was a patient at physical therapy and wanted to make sure I was not a homeless person and they still kicked me out of there because they said that I was staying there too long because I get Lyft from one physical therapy to the other and lift does not take you to get lunch they just take you from one place to the other so I had an hour and a half in between and it was cold and sometimes very hot outside. So because of that I I ended up sitting in the bench in between the doctor's office and the physical therapist office and was told that I could sit in there and that they would come get me when my appointment started at 1 well now I'm being told that I cannot go out that same door or the hallway I was kicked out of I have to walk straight through and I can only stay in the other room if I'm dropped off early so instead of focusing on my therapy they're more worried about which door I enter which door I leave out of and and if I'm wiping down equipment which the doctor has already stated that that is not a problem I can do that and he doesn't have a problem with me wiping down the equipment but as far as a staff member talking to me in the manner she does and not making my appointments putting me on hold transferring me when I try to talk to someone is very unprofessional and when I try to talk to her I was not allowed to talk to her so the doctor is very good but I'm not allowed to address the situation with the staff member the staff member continues to treat me that way she threw a clipboard at me rather than hand it to me...and with no pen to sign in with...I had to ask the other front office person for the pen. All I want to do is get better for myself and so I can be better for when my Mother is no longer able to care for herself... I found a great orthopedic doctor and physical therapist but staff member is rude and treats me like I did something wrong. I'm to have 3 surgeries and therapy here...HOW CAN I WHEN I HAVE A STAFF MEMBER TREATING ME THE WAY SHE IS AND I HAVE KNOW I DEAL WHY... The doctor took care of my son's broken arm 5 yrs ago and let him pick the color of his cast. That is why he reluctently gets 2 stars instead of 1. Not much to a simple fractured arm. Spent most of the time with an assistant. Fast forward 5 yrs and we need my son's medical record for the Delayed entry program with the U.S. Navy. It has taken over 3 months to get them. All my son's other records from hospitals and doctors took less than 2 weeks. I filled out the request. 2 weeks later the girl quit. I told them "Not my problem". Then they said I had to request them online. Oh, we lost your request. Oh, They are off site. We have to go to storage. Oh, they are on the Drs. desk to sign off. (The Dr. has to sign off on all medical record requests. Is he making sure he made no mistakes or maybe he forgot to dictate?) Oh, I'm sorry, those were not your sons records on his desk. I told them I would sue them in small claims for $10,000 and my sons records and went home and I filed a complaint with the U.S. Dept. Health and Human Services for violating my son's civil rights instead. I received my son's records the next day. The office girls are rude and think they are all that because they have a 4 mo. medical office class. My son has now missed 3 mos. of the Navy Seal challenge before he leaves for basic next summer. I forgot to mention the only time they deal with medical record requests is 8am to 11am on Tuesday and Thursday! " I work out of town Monday afternoon through Thursday night." "Can't you call from work?" My response: "Can you make personal calls while you are at work?" They are such little biotches.
