Company uses AI for all scheduling unable to get a service rep. Name should be rear-end not high-end

I needed help after my wonderful handyman suggested I call high end since he couldn't fix our problem-thought we needed new compressor- Our repair man from high end -came and was super professional, considerate he could have sold us a compressor instead he took the time to thoroughly look at our fridge-it was a gasket problem - we ordered it-Danny repairman installed it and was very deliberate making sure it all worked properly- Cleaned up after himself and again I couldn't be happier with him!! The worst service company I've ever dealt with. Overpriced and totally incompetent. Total ripoff. Gave me an estimate to repair a dishwasher which was twice the price of every other repair place. Tech came for a quote in his personal auto and did not have any business cards or ID representing the company. I was extremely uncomfortable having him in my home and got him out the door. read more

High end service charges over $200 just for an estimate and then wants to charge $2000 for labor alone for a 30 min or 1 hour job. I'm not sure when appliance repair workers decided their jobs are worth $2000 an hour. It's a refrigerator not surgery read more

I had a few interactions with this company since I have my Subzero/Wolf/Cove Appliences installed and I already had enough! First when I called a lady that had to schedule the service was extremely rude and non-helpful, then after knowing my name and that I bought several appliances she momentarily changed her tone and apologized for her attitude and that sounded even worse. Second: When the service representative JEROME PINCHASI arrived to my house, he was super rude and unprofessional, had a conflicting and nasty tone starting the first moment he stepped in my house. He refused to even listen, and all was saying that it is not his responsibility. When I asked him to speak with my contractor so he can explain the matter he said the he doesn't want to speak with anyone. It was unclear though why did he come at all. He was extremely unhelpful, rude, so I was about to ask him to leave my house with that tone and attitude. This is so disappointing!!!! I bought luxury appliances for all my kitchen but I receive so cheap, rude and horrible service. I have extended warranty for 6 years but now I am so concerned if I have to deal with this High End Service company which looks like a low end in reality. read more

BEWARE!!! Awful Company! I had them come out to check an issue with my Miele dishwasher. The service man was super nice, but handed me a quote for $1400 to fix a valve and a water value inlet. I was shocked! When I called Miele directly they told me I could buy a new Miele dishwasher for $1400 AND that the 2 parts they were quoting me I could get for $300 and they quote me $1,000 just in parts!!! When I called to ask how they got to the estimate amount the lady kept saying that is the price and if you don't like it you can go somewhere else. When I asked to speak to a manager she said he was busy. When I said that I was happy to go somewhere else since they are not only price gauging me but refusing to explain the break down but I want my $95 service fee back since they did not even check the hose they claim is broken she said too bad and that she had to go. About 6 years ago I had a bad experience with High End repairman who came in, caused a leak, and came back to fix it and charged me for both sessions. I'm glad to say that this time I had the opposite experience and everything went well. The office staff were always very accommodating with rescheduling at my request and kept me updated about my service call and parts availability. The same engineer, Argelio, stayed in touch with me from the first visit until the final day of the repairs and my fridge was working in 2 hours after months of severe dysfunction which I thought might never be fixed. Very glad that the experience turned out so well. My SubZero fridge feels like it's almost new and it's 15 years old. read more

High-End Services are price gougers. Called them to fix my sub zero ice box and maintenance refrigerator. They charged me thousands, did not fix the ice box, and their technician was extremely rude. I truly hope more sub zero companies are available -so I never have to use this company again. read more

If they damage your property they only have $5k in insurance and Alex the manager refuses to cover any extra above the limit to cover the damages to put items back to original condition. Beware!!! read more

My technician, Jose Marquez, was on time, extremely pleasant and courteous, and he fixed my SubZero refrigerator in no time. The charge for my repair was reasonable and fair. I've been ripped off by other appliance repair companies, but never again. High-End Service will be my appliance repair service from now on. I highly recommended. read more

Service was good, however over the top crazy expensive. $325 for a forty minute repair, excluding parts. I was also told that Sub-Zero dictated the labor rates they charge for the repair according to the type of repair. I called SubZero and they said that absolutely was not the truth. I never disputed the cost of the parts, just the labor. The technician was knowledgeable, and seems to have done good work, we'll see if it holds up. read more

AVOID CALLING THIS PEOPLE TO SERVICE YOUR APPLIANCES The technicians don't have a clue about repairing and appliance. They work with some off site techs telling what to do. I have them to come to fix the appliance 4 times, and they left the unit not working at all...before the tech guy that came the 3rd time, when the unit was working at 50% its capacity, when he finished he left the appliance not working at all, then came Jerome and after badmouthing the previous tech saying the guy didn't have a clue, he said that now the appliance should work, but I have to wait for 3 days until the appliance should start to make ice...4 days passed and nothing... funny thing, the 4th day I turned off the appliance and then started to make some ice...go figure how these genius tech work and get paid...but the ice making process didn't last long, just a couple of hours...can somebody explain how an appliance that is off is running...shall we ask Jerome...? He advised of all the possibilities and it ended up being a relay that failed due to excessive dirt buildup on coils. He kw=new exactly what to do and returned to repair it. I called yesterday with a request for service for my oven which had grease dropped between the glass, and I wanted the dishwasher and refrigerator checked for maintenance. I also recieved a necessary tutorial on the dishwasher. Jason gave me important tips on how to clean the glass in the future because I just couldn't get it clean. Jason Vazquez was professional, helpful, and he additionally asked about the stove top. I had forgotten that one of the burners was not functioning properly, and showed it to him. Jason determined, after dismantling it, and cleaning it that it was not working nor repairable, and under warranty. It's rare in South Florida for a service person to go above and beyond. While the service call was not cheap, it was well worth every penny and then some. Had he not been as thorough, I could be looking at spending hundreds more down the line. By giving the problem a great deal of thought, and by process of elimination, Jason solved the problem and saved us a great deal of trouble and expense. Highest recommendation! Usually Appliamce repair is such a stressful experience - from getting someone to come out to do the job to waiting for the right part to waiting for the job to be complete. Our experience with High End Service was a pleasure from start to finish. We were able to get a timely appointment but what made it exceptional were Jason V and Jason P. Our problem was an unusual one (bc of a shoddy electrical job; not bc is the appliance) and these guys were so persistent and smart about helping us with a solution. We felt like the cared about our situation as if it was there own. I am sure all the technicians are fabulous, but I would ask for the Jasons if I were you! This week I had service on my Pro48 Sub zero refrigerator performed by High End Service technician Jason Vasquez. This is the third time I have used this company and each and every time I was impressed by the professionalism, customer service, dependability and the techs that have been sent. Jason Vasquez was particularly well-mannered, extremely competent and dependable relating to the follow up after parts were ordered and the final repair. Although I have a full appliance service contract with a warranty company, I would never use them for my high end appliances. I choose to call High End Service. They have not disappointed. read more

Today, Eliel came to fix my Sub-Zero fridge that has been broken on and off for months. He fixed it, cleaned up and put everything back together nicely. I have been using High-End Service for a few months now trying to get my fridge fixed. It was having an odd, intermittent problem that was hard to solve. While I was very frustrated, everyone at High-End Service has been great: Ramona in the office always returns my calls and helps me as much as possible, Eliel was fantastic today, and Thaddeus was great too. They are a great company with great customer service and I would highly recommend them if you have appliances that they service. read more

I have had High End out to my house twice now, once for my Sub-Zero refrigerator and once for my Wolf exhause hood. Both times Rob Riley has come out to our Boca Raton home and I can say that he is terrific. Rob knows his producets really well and does his work with great efficiency and professionalism. High End Service, recommended by Wolf/SubZero to repair our SubZero freezer, took almost a month to FAIL to do so. They initially gave me a repair date for two weeks after my initial call, and one week after the new compressor's arrival. After contacting Wolf, whose customer care rep contacted them, they came in to do the repair in five days--still a long wait, but better than two weeks. The technician left without checking if the freezer was operating. It wasn't. After a call from Wolf/SubZero, he came out the next day to say the new compressor was also broken and he'd ordered another. High End gave me a repair date for two weeks later--again, over a week after the second new compressor arrived. Communications with this company are terrible. On two occasions, I received calls on the same day giving me different repair dates. After some scolding from Wolf, Warrantee Manager Shelley Greenwood contacted me and told me to call her directly any time for updates and other info. I tried four times and was never once connected to her. She also failed to answer emails and never called me back. Everyone I came into contact at this company assured me that I would be updated as to the status of the repair. After waiting five or six days with no news, I would call, never connected to Greenwood, and then be given new conflicting information: the compressor was in, the compressor was still on order; the technician was coming out tomorrow, he was coming out in ten days; it just went on and on. Finally, Subzero/Wolf just offered to install a new refrigerator. I am deeply appreciative of SubZero's excellent customer service. This is my first YELP review. Usually I just let this stuff slide. But after almost a month without a freezer in a very expensive SubZero unit, I think it's important to warn people about High End's disastrous excuse for service. I hope Subzero/Wolf finds another "recommended repair service" for South Florida. read more

Wolf-Subzero scheduled a repair service with High-End and I could not be more impressed with both Wolf and High-End. They contacted me within hours after speaking to a representative at Wolf. A service date was scheduled for diagnostics on the day of a High End rep. called me to verify their location and ETA. Two weeks later a repeat of the same efficient experience. I posted a negative review a few weeks back and while I stand by my review of that experience, I can say that the company followed up with me to make up for that customer service experience. The person who called me from their office in the Tampa area was extremely friendly, apologetic, and accommodating. She ensured a repair person would come out to inspect my microwave the next day--and he did. He was very thorough in explaining what was going on with the microwave and followed through with an estimate of repair costs immediately (I'd give them both the highest marks for customer service and expertise). With that said, cost was way too high to justify repairing the microwave so I moved on. THIS particular experience, was a positive one (except for seeing what the costs would run). I am just not sure why this company charges so much for labor. Lawyers and doctors make less per hour than what they charge. read more
