The nurses in the stroke and cardiovascular unit there were exceptional--compassionate, attentive, and truly wonderful in every sense. Through a coworker, I learned that a family member of hers was already receiving acute physical therapy at Encompass, and she spoke so highly of the professionalism and the facility that I shared it with my siblings. Not sure if manifestation did its magic, but the very next day, Gina, the liaison, reached out to me to confirm our interest in moving forward with the referral. She was warm, thorough, and deeply reassuring, guiding us with clarity and kindness. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the environment: calm, organized, and thoughtfully designed, with each patient given the dignity of a private room. Gina had advised my mother to bring comfortable clothing and activewear, preparing her for the intensity of acute rehabilitation. The nursing staff met every expectation with grace and care. A heartfelt thank-you to Nurses Lupe, Daisy--whom my mother called her "my friend," a name they shared for each other--JP, Tiffany, May, and all the others whose names I may not have learned, but whose presence we felt deeply. The food and cleaning service crew were wonderful in maintaining a clean environment everyday and nutritious meals! My mom loved the food & it definitely provided her more insights on the importance of eating a variety of foods! I wasn't able to attend most occupational therapy sessions since they were held early in the morning before visiting hours at 8am, but I did have the chance to meet Peter and Cassidy. They were grounded, kind, and made my mother feel safe and at ease during her first shower in a week--a moment she described with profound gratitude, calling it "the best shower of my life." And finally, to our main case manager, Nhã Vũ and the physical therapy team Matt Lê, Kevin Lê, and the therapist with the earring who was described as "Kevin's student," (sorry I wasn't there to catch your name) ,Tâm & Christine- each of you left an enduring mark on her recovery. Even those I did not meet were spoken of repeatedly with admiration and warmth. My mother often recalls how one of you said you would care for her as you would your own mother and you did exactly that. There is something powerful in how she continues to remember these sessions. During home PT, she will sometimes pause mid-exercise, laugh to herself, and recount a story or moment from Encompass. Those memories have become part of her healing. We are especially grateful for the diversity within Encompass, and for the Vietnamese physical therapists who played such an important role in her comfort and motivation. Being able to communicate fully and be understood, I believe, made a meaningful difference in her recovery trajectory. She is not yet fully recovered, but she is undeniably on a strong path forward--built on a foundation of skilled care, encouragement, and human connection. On behalf of Cô Phương Lê and my siblings, we extend our deepest gratitude to the entire Encompass team. The level of care you provided was not only professional, but profoundly human.

When my father had a stroke, he was not placed in a good facility, so we were understandably hesitant. However, this center has exceeded all of our expectations. It is clean, well maintained, and the staff is incredibly patient and kind. I truly could not be happier with the care my mom is receiving. Her nurse, Ayelet, is absolutely amazing. She is caring, respectful, and highly knowledgeable. She treats my mother with genuine compassion, and it shows in everything she does. Our family feels confident and grateful for the decision to have my mom at this rehabilitation center.

Ms. Iris and Ms. Dorothy, helped my daughter with OT and feeding, she went in eating half of the McDonald cheese burger on the good days and now she is able to finish a sourdough grill cheese sandwich from Jack in the Box at least 5 times a week! That's when I found TOT Handwriting. The owner, Jennell, is not only an experienced occupational therapist but also a mom of two, which made me feel even more comfortable and understood. From the beginning, Jennell was honest and thoughtful--after assessing my son, she let me know that while he didn't necessarily need handwriting classes at age 3, they could still be beneficial. And they absolutely were! He made great progress, and more importantly, he is more confident about his ability to write. We had such a positive experience that we decided to enroll him again for the summer session. Highly recommend TOT Handwriting to any parent looking for gentle, expert support in early writing skills!

My son made noticeable progress in a short…read moreperiod of time--not just in how his handwriting looks, but in the underlying skills like spacing, letter formation, and staying on the line. What really stood out to me was how structured and thoughtful the program is. They don't just have kids practice writing--they actually teach the patterns behind letter formation and target the foundational skills that make writing easier. We also received a detailed progress report with real data and writing samples, which is something you rarely see in camps like this. By the end of the program, my son went from inconsistent letter formation to confidently forming all uppercase and lowercase letters, with much better spacing and overall legibility. I would absolutely recommend this camp to any parent looking to support their child's handwriting and fine motor development in a meaningful, effective way.

Before we came to Pure Pediatrics, we weren't sure if he would be able to make much more improvement since he had already been doing PT elsewhere for a while. But since coming here, he has improved so much over these past few months. Vandana is a great therapist who has a very holistic approach and is always prepared. I'm often pleasantly surprised by how much she remembers from what we've worked on and talked about in our previous sessions. She's also very observant and in addition to helping us with my son's main condition, she has pointed out and helped with many things that we weren't aware of (some of which are related to his condition and some more indirectly related). We really appreciate all the care, help, and encouragement from Vandana.

Incidentally, I had just come from another local urgent care, where i waited 30+ minutes, only to find out they didn't have an X-ray machine. The care at AFC appeared to be top notch. They took me quickly, took x-rays of the toe (fortunately no fractures!), and recommended a plan of treatment. Everyone in the office, from the fellow who checked me in, to the tech that took the X-rays (forget his name) to Caroline, the Physician Assistant, who looked at my toe, reported the results of treament and prescribed a course of treatment, were all so nice and professional. They were able to answer all my questions and address my concerns. Hopefully, I have no more future mishaps, but if I do, I'll know where to go. AFC Urgent Care Tustin! Thanks so much for your excellent care!

Hoping we don't get charged!…read more We called ahead of time to this AFC facility on 05-16-2026 around 130 pm, because we like and use the AFC facility by our house. We needed to get our daughters finger checked due to sports finger injury at a volleyball tournament. When we called ahead we spoke to the person at the front desk and ask if x-ray were available at the facility. He answered YES. After arriving, checking in, then seeing the doctor. The doctor flexes the wrist, hand and fingers then told us that she recommended x-rays. She then told us they do not have X-raysavaialbe because the x-ray technician left for a wedding. What the ???? The doctor then told us we needed to go somewhere else for X-rays and she would write a "order" to get an it done somewhere else, BUT she did not know of any available x-ray facility locally and we would have to get it done on Monday. I say again what the???? If as a medical physician you deemed our daughter was in need of x-rays, why would you tell us to wait till Monday. As a professional, why do not have any local contacts to get an x-ray done immediately????? Horrible facility, poor staff communication, we should not be charged because the xray tech left early for a wedding and the staff failed to communicate to each other.

I've previously had my donations picked up, or gone to donation bins, or dropped a few things off at Goodwill. Orange County Rescue Mission has a drive thru drop-off for your donations. I had 5 boxes, so a lovely gentleman brought a bin on wheels over and helped me put my boxes inside. He asked if I would need a receipt for my taxes but I politely declined. I do believe the items I donated had good value but I don't have much experience with taxes and previous receipts I've gotten usually end up missing by tax season. Prior to donating my things, I was able to go on their website and see exactly what items they accept. This helped a LOT because there were actually a lot of items I wouldn't have even considered donating like unused toiletries. I would probably try to give them to a family member or a friend of perhaps end up just tossing it away. I'm really glad they provide a list of acceptable items for donating!! I hope other people who wish to donate items really do READ lists such as this one, so they are aware of what can be donated. I just remembered people from my past who would try to donate opened foods, & insisted they were still good because they were non-perishables. Some people just don't know you can't donate ANYTHING. I don't understand people who donate things that they wouldn't use, if the same or similar item were donated to them (in the same manner). Some behaviors are perplexing. Anyway!! I LOVE this place and I'm currently working on filling up another 3 boxes. I'll have to go buy some more boxes so I can start sorting through my storage unit as well!! I do have a few questions on some items and what condition they must be in to be accepted for donation. I'm pretty sure they had a number on the same page that I could call and ask, which I will be doing, just haven't gotten around to it yet! I'm really happy I found this place & recommend others to donate items & volunteer here if they have the time! (:
