I went to Willis and Daniel a few years ago after i torn ACL completely while snow skiing. It was repaired (replaced by cadaver) by Dr. Lee and it was a long difficult road toward recovery. Willis was a no-nonsense therapist and used every second I had in his facility to MY advantage. He put me first and made me focus on one thing, getting better/ stronger. First off the place is empty with workers standing around - not a good sign for a Physical Therapy office. Next, they had a therapist sit with me and ask me to relay my complaints. He then said he couldn't offer me what I was asking for. I asked my ortho doctor for a PT that does ultrasound and electrical therapy. Then he said he doesn't want to interrupt what the chiropractor and orthopedist have recommended so he will just work with me on my posture. What? You want me to pay you and see you weekly to help me stand up straighter when I've been dealing with a major injury for months? No way! Waste of my time. Unprofessional. read more

Honestly, Josh is the physical therapist that changed the course of my daughter's life. From the minute we walked into this place, my daughter and I knew that the whole group of people working there really cared. Josh and John were her therapists. Josh had worked with patient's diagnosed with CRPS. He formulated a plan. She was not wearing shoes because of the damage done to her nerves in her feet from a virus or some unknown cause. She was not walking except very slowly and off balance. She could not wear shoes because her feet were numb. Within a few weeks she was taught how to retrain her mind to send messages to her feet so she could walk properly. With aggressive foot exercises & foot massage and encouragement from all staff, she is walking again and even wearing shoes. She had not worn shoes for 3 months before initiating treatment here. I was in therapy prior to and post rotator cuff surgery. Willis does a great job with hands on therapy and along with Daniel's help make the therapy successful. I had a meniscus repair. Willis and his team were helpful in keeping me from pushing myself too far to early. I learned a lot about my injury and this helped me better understand my body. Mixed thoughts and feelings about Impact Rehabilitation Center. I was having pain in my left wrist/thumb and right elbow areas so my doctor (neurosurgeon) suggested I try PT. I decided to give Impact a try as they are conveniently located close to my office and on the way home. For whatever reason, it seems like they decided to focus on my left wrist/thumb area. Unfortunately, I got the feeling that they were never really able to figure out what was going on and the person performing the work seemed puzzled by my lack of progress. After 6 visits, I finally asked if he knew what was the cause of my pain and what I should be expecting moving forward. His response was that he wasn't sure and that he wanted to talk to Willis. In the meantime, he suggested that I go do some posture exercises to finish my session. While I recognize that poor posture can create problems, my interpretation was that I was just being given these exercises to do to kill the remaining time in our one-hour session. Since PT is a big time commitment for me, I ended up leaving my session early. As a result of this, I ended up talking to my neurosurgeon who suggested I go to a hand specialist to see if we could better diagnose my situation. He ended up taking some X-rays and determined that I had arthritis and was basically experiencing bone-on-bone contact - something that he said physical therapy would not be able to fix. In terms of Impact Rehabilitation, I had the feeling that would have continued to treat me even though they never really understood the root cause of my pain. I guess I would have expected them to realize that progress wasn't being made and to have suggested that I go get some X-rays. I'm glad I ended up walking out and seeking my doctor to better understand the root cause of my pain rather than waste my time and money with Impact doing irrelevant physical therapy exercises. read more

There should be more than Five Stars -- how about TEN! I injured my knee and my husband had a partial knee replacement. Our shared-doctor sent both of us to Impact -- Thank you, Dr. Biviji! Over the years, we have both been to physical therapy for different reasons, but the care we received from other rehabilitation centers in the past did not compare to the amazing treatment from IMPACT. Instead of a Physical Therapist working with us for 20 minutes, followed by a student working through exercises for another 15 minutes, Impact has outstanding P.T.s assisting for a full hour, asking questions, with exercises geared to each person. Willis is amazing and has brought my husband to almost full mobility within a few weeks of surgery. Josh is equally fantastic and has moved me from wearing a brace to walking 15,000 steps a day. Also appreciate John, who helped so much with exercises during visits. Each time we come, we are greeted by name and and treatment begins immediately. We are so pleased and highly recommend Impact!! I have had injuries on my right knee, left shoulder and both elbows during the past eight years. Willis was the one who healed them all and I am truly grateful! I had tried rehab at a big and fancy place long ago and guess what? I had to work with different aides who gave me contradicting instructions during each visit. They never fixed my knee problem and discharged me with a knee brace on!! That will never happen here... Willis does a hands on approach and he will even show you how to maintain it for the long run. I had a great appointment with Willis. He help me with my street bicycling help. He help me understand what kind of exercises I would need to do so I don't injure myself on a street bicycle. He was very helpful and then as an extra added bonus his wife came and assessed my leg because 1 foot and shorter than the other it was very courteous of them to do that they didn't have to but they did.
