Didn't damage grass, no debris left behind, and was finished removing one large oak and four smaller trees by three. Incredible. I finally decided to get an estimate on numerous trees and the gentleman came out immediately and priced out each tree separately so we could pick ala carte what we preferred and stayed within budget. Scheduled them same day- couldn't beat their prices and timeliness- had availability within the week. Team arrived on time, appropriately dressed, and in friendly moods. They wasted no time scouting out the trees we had selected and immediately got to work. I watched like a child at an imax theater. Just so wowed and impressed how every team member had their role, maintained safety, and orchestrated the various projects with ease. We have a massive oak looming over our front yard and driveway. The owner saw the dead branches and recommended them get pruned so branches stop falling on the driveway where our children frequently walk and play under. Sold. I watched the tree climber guy climb up into cloud level heights that made me question if I put him in danger. Nope. He navigated the whole tree and shimmied more dead branches off than I was aware were up there. Money well spent and a recommendation we'll made! The first time was to clear away some overgrown shrubs and remove some trees to make way for a remodeling project. They impressed me then and I held on to their card. So this time we were ready to transform our forrest of a front yard into something we could enjoy as a yard. Let me just say that the first good experience was not a fluke! Juan and his team were prompt, diligent and personable. The amount of work done in 2 and a half days is mind blowing! We had 10 tall trees plus countless volunteers and scrub bushes removed the yard aerated and seeded plus a huge undertaking of ripping out 25 years (+) of invasive ivy growth. The end result looks awesome with fresh mulch around newly highlighted trees. It will only look better with time as long as we do our watering regularly. The City of Alexandria says that many oak trees are dying from borers and unfortunately I have now lost all the oak trees in my back yard. The first four trees were removed by another company. Since I was unhappy with my last experience, I asked my neighbor about the company she hired to have an oak tree in her yard removed. She recommended Juan Bonilla and I am glad she did. I called Juan and he promptly came out and gave me a quote. The quote was very reasonable based on my previous tree removals. I was worried about these last two trees being removed because of where they were situated. They were very large, next to my shed and in a corner with a fence on two sides. I was amazed as a watched Juan and his expert crew take down huge branches and strategically place them on the ground without touching the shed, fence or other smaller plants and trees in the area! The two huge trees were removed in a day and the backyard looks like it did when they started. I had Juan trim my Crepe Myrtles while he was here and he was very knowledgeable as to how to trim them, not just cutting the branches off to one height as you often see. Finally, I asked Juan to trim the last remaining oak tree I have, which is in my front yard. His son Carlos came back with a crew the next day and did the job. I wasn't expecting much since the tree had been trimmed multiple times before and looked worse and worse after each trimming. Carlos and his team made the tree look better than it has in at least 15 years. Juan and his team are truly experts not only in tree removal but in their knowledge of trees! I forgot to say, that Juan provided excellent customer service too! It is a pleasure to write a positive review for an excellent company which I highly recommend.
