BEST SELF SERVICE DOG WASH!! I am an ex-experienced groomer but I hate having to clean up after my golden retriever and he barely fits in my tub. Before I moved back to Aurora, I was a regular at the Wag N' Wash (huge self serve dog wash franchise). There are no Wag N' Wash's in Aurora and this store is the closest dog wash to my house. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO WAG N WASH because: --The customer service here is impeccable --all of the equipment is better --it is small but never busy --my golden LOVES coming here, he walks straight in the tub and knows that they always have treats for him --oh yeah, you go home with treats :) --the water pressure and hair dryers are amazing --the price is amazing, I pay 16 bucks and you get to choose your shampoo. He always comes home soft. I recommend this place to EVERYONE. I would go out of my way to come here. read more

I have used high plains Tailblazers for many years (past dog Ellie and current dog Charlie). Charlie loves his dog walker Rachel and looks forward to her daily visit. Charlie is very anxious around new people and dogs and Rachel has done an outstanding job of making him feel calm and comfortable. This is the only dog walking service I would ever use. These guys are absolutely wonderful!! I hired them while I was gone for 1 week, to walk and check in on my 2 dogs. Kathleen was great about communication, texting updates and videos, which was awesome. Their prices were reasonable, and provided a free and very thorough meet and greet. Be patient when emailing to request services, they take a little while to respond, but they are worth the wait!!! They came highly recommended by my neighbor for dog-walking and dog-sitting services in-home. We had a new rescue dog and had to leave town and I had to call and email several times before I was able to speak to someone who could answer my questions. It's my understanding they were in the process of closing their brick-and-mortar location so I am throwing a couple ** in there or this would be a one-star review. They told me they would call back to schedule a visit and meet the dog, they never did. I never received any follow up for my inquiry or an email saying "sorry we forgot about you, but let us meet you after you get back for next time." Advice: If you're not taking new clients, or something is happening that doesn't allow for you to give your usual customer service... be up front about it. I will probably never try again. read more

I was in a car accident and was unable to walk my dogs. Tailblazers was the first service to get back with me. Kari was also the only one that was willing to start ASAP (3 week wait everywhere else). Her prices were so fare i thought it might be a miss print ( $20 lower than the lowest I could find) and was able to add my second dog for free! Everyone I worked with was very professional and so sweet to my dogs. I would recommend to anyone, and if needed in the future, WILL use them again. read more

Really happy with Tailblazers dog walking service. My new puppy can't make it all day without a bathroom break and Mary is there every weekday at noon to take him on a walk and feed him lunch. Maize loves it and never has an accident in the crate. I get a detailed account of his activity and you can tell how much Mary adores him. read more

I took Mocha here recently for a self-service bath. Staff were very nice and helpful. They give you a generous amount of shampoo and cleaning supplies. The place was small but actually has a lot of things for sale. I bought a few dog treats when I was there. I'll definitely be back. read more

The meet and greet session at our home with Kira and Rachel was wonderful, and our dog, Bronco has fallen in love with Rachel. Kira and her crew took care of us during a last minute (week before) trip that we planned. Our three pups loved them, even our "temperamental" son who doesn't like very many people. You can trust they will do a good job and your dogs will enjoy them very much. The notes they leave are very re-assuring when you come home, with details on everything that happened during playtime and walks.
