Highpoint has captured my heart as my favorite local coffee place. I'm the regular drinker of a hot or cold Soy Vanilla Chai Tea, I simply find myself needing this delicious drink thru out the day almost everyday. :-) My husband, who is the variety drinker, but finds himself drinking my favorite drink but with a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg, and our kids LOVE their Jones sodas, to handmade blended strawberry-banana smoothie, peach-mango & strawberry milk. We have invited friends to family to indulge in Highpoint Coffee. Empty drinks of theirs pretty much says it all. Not only is their drinks the best but we also treat ourselves with a side warm cinnamon roll, raspberry Danish, ham and cheese sandwich or croissant sandwiches (ham-swiss or sausage-cheese). We LOVE this place that we drive 5 miles just to share a hot or cold cup of Highpoint!! Even though we live near Sunset Coffee [No Comment] & Starbucks [Yuck!] Free Wi-fi is a convenience to have when I'm there lounging by the fireplace, reading a book or just hanging out with my kids. It's also interesting Saturday Nights starting 7pm to hear local singers on Open Mic Night, along with my *Favorite drink*. I admire the accommodating open to close hours from Weekday to Weekends. Coffee addict here. Also having worked as a barista for a few years I can be a bit of a coffee snob as well. I went to High Point on a whim a couple years ago without too much expectation. Coming from San Francisco, I've been a bit disappointed in the lack of coffee education out here leading to lack of good coffee. I can't even go to Starbucks to get a mediocre, but at least dependably consistent coffee because it is neither dependable or consistent, sometimes it's just downright revolting and undrinkable (and I'll drink crappy gas station or diner drip coffee in a pinch). Anyway, High Point has captured my heart and my loyal business as well as my husband's and my friends. The coffee is wonderful. I appreciate that they offer a choice in drip one for those who like a lighter coffee and one for those who like a more bold, full bodied coffee (like myself). Their espresso has just the right amount of smokey, full bodied deliciousness that is absent of any burnt or acidic notes. It's my favorite roast and I use it in espresso drinks as well as for drip. Their espresso concoctions are delicious and I have a hard time getting through my day without them. The owner and staff are AWESOME. They are friendly, funny with just enough quirkiness to make you feel at home. My favorite coffee shop in all of Utah... I even found myself missing them on my recent trip to CA! read more

Not bad. I just ordered the normal nonfat vanilla latte with one shot and the price was $3.50. Seems about normal for the city. Taste was OK, service just OK. Location is convenient right on Redwood and 7800 S. Not my normal coffee stop but like I said it was convenient and then gave me the boost I needed to get through the workday. read more

Can't say anything bad about this place. It's a great small business coffee shop with a awesome atmosphere. A separate room for any business people that has a large table, free Wifi, and a nice fireplace. Not to forget about the coffee. I get a iced white mocha and love it. Pretty dope drinks tbh. Mango tropic smoothie my top tier favorite smoothie of all time there. Maybe a little less peanut butter on the hound dog tho it's a little much and makes it difficult to drink with a straw due to how thick the drink is. Overall great place. If you have a phone number with them you get a free drink every 9 or 10 drinks. Easily attainable with how addictive this place is to visit. Nice atmosphere as well. High point coffee is pretty darn good. They have a wonderful selection of syrup flavors both regular and sugar free. The sitting area is very roomy and they have a lot of little quiet corners that you can sit in that are pretty cozy. They have a conference room available. The patio is small (only three tables) but I love that it faces east so you don't get the blaring hot sun in the afternoon. The inside sitting area is very clean as are the restrooms. The staff was very friendly and prompt. It was nice to see the two girls working taking pride in the cleanliness of the place as well as offering fast friendly customer service. This is a neat little place, sort of eclectic, a little bit kitschy and has an intriguing, yet highly useful layout (I've been there for both personal reasons and for a business meeting in the small room). In a way, it's very charming and almost homey, even. The exterior isn't anything special, but parking is mostly ample and the wifi, which is the main reason I came there, is also pretty good. Hours are also good. I don't drink coffee, but their tea selection, while not money, was certainly no cause for complaint. The staff is incredibly friendly and one of the best things here and the snacks, while decent and a nice complement, are not enough to warrant their own visit. If I lived closer, I'd probably haunt this place a lot more often, but it's enough to know it's there when I need it. read more

Love this place! Awesome staff and their drinks are glorious! I like to stay and chit chat with their employees for a few minutes, and they are always smiling and willing to small talk about anything and everything. I was in town for a few days to visit friends and attend a wedding. I stopped in one morning for a cup of coffee, and was very pleased with my experience. The man behind the counter who helped me (I believe was the owner), was very friendly and asked what area of California I was visiting from, etc. My order was very simple - a medium size cup of coffee with cream and sugar - and it was very delicious cup of coffee. This review is based purely on the quality of the House blend beans that I had ground course for a french press. I was amazed that that that they actually took the time to change and reset the grinder for me. I'm so used to being blown off at the Bucks, always winding up with something too fine to press(MUD). I found the quality the same as you would expect from any coffee house and am eager to try another roast. As someone who goes to a lot of different coffee shops and has pretty high standards with my espresso drinks, High Point Coffee is my absolute favorite place to be. The coffee is great. The options are numerous! The food is great. The atmosphere allows for both a comfy environment as well as a work/business environment. It's a great place to meet friends and get work done. They have two unisex bathrooms that remain very clean. They have a meeting room with a big table for groups and meetings. They have events and activities all through out the week. Lots of seating, both for standing, sitting and lounging. They have board and card games available. Pretty much always open from very early in the morning to about 10 at night most nights. They have a point system that is in house and only requires a phone number when you order. The baristas are amazing and super friendly. FREE WIFI. Also, the price is very good. Most places will charge $6-$7 for a large size latte whereas High Point only charges about $5. And for those who play PokemonGo, High Point has a PokeStop! :) This place checks all of my boxes. read more

I've been kind of bummed since Just Add Coffee went out of business and looking for a good place ever since. High Point is a bit further south but worth the drive. It's a great place to stay for a bit and enjoy your coffee. Its in a nice clean new building complete with fireplace for warming up on a cold day. The Coffee is good and doesn't taste burnt like Beans and Brew or watered down like Starbucks. There is a separate small conference are if you need to isolate your group if you need privacy, more quiet, or you don't want your noisiness disrupting the other patrons. And they have a corner of the building setup with equipment to have live music. All around it's a great place to stop and get some coffee if you need some time to get going in the morning. read more

We've been here many times, so I'm not sure why this review eluded me. If I see a mocha on the menu I tend to order it, and this place has a pretty good one. It's not the best one I've had, but it's certainly better than all of the chain coffee shops by a large margin. We can safely say we've consumed at least half the menu, and the only one I can't recommend is the raspberry coffee (I don't tend to like this berry, so take that as you will). Their cold brew is also just iced coffee and not really what I was hoping to get. read more
