Dr. La Rocca and her assistant Christine were both amazing--very professional, kind, and they made me feel completely at ease. I really appreciated how he explained everything he was doing and both of them kept me updated throughout the procedure. What stood out to me the most is their authenticity. They are not just trying to please patients--they genuinely care and are very knowledgeable in what they do. I have nothing but high praise for their teamwork and service. I tried to avoid giving this office a bad review, but gave this office multiple chances to fix their billing mishaps and everytime I was re-assured that the issues have been resolved. Please I warn you, if you have "double coverage/primary-secondary insurance," Do NOT go to this practice! For some unknown reason their billing department cannot get simple dental billing done properly. Maybe they should invest in their insurance/billing department to take a course specifically for proper billing of primary/secondary dental insurance billing.! My spouse and I just come in for exams/cleanings/xrays (Prophy's/BW/Exam) simple basic procedures that both of our insurances cover under comprehensive services at 100%, meaning the patient pays no out of pocket expense for these services, if properly billed. But everytime my spouse or I have visited this office I am always sent a bill and have to contact both of our insurances on my own and submit the proper EOB so that the insurance company will make proper payment to the office. I have over 13+ plus years in the dental field prior to changing careers, and one of my specialities was dental office management. Unfortunately, my spouse and I will no longer be going to this practice, because I no longer want to have to deal with patient EOB's,insurance claims & payments---that is not my job, that is the providers office responsibility. In addition to selecting this office I did the proper research by contacting both of my insurances to make sure this was an in network provider,. As well as I contacted the office prior to making our first appointment to make sure they accepted both of our well known insurances Delta Dental PPO & United Concordia/Tricare PPO. If their billing department is not properly trained in insurance billing they shouldn't advertise they take dental insurances. It is just very unfortunate because the Dentist, RDA's & Hygienist's are all soo nice here!! But their billing department has no idea what they are doing! I am thankful I didn't need any additional services outside of comprehensive care, because I know their billing would be a complete disaster!!! read more

This place deserves negative stars. When I tell you to run, not walk away from this place, please listen. This is a very bad office. I paid almost $60,000 for all on fours And I have nothing but problems with them. The problems aren't the issue. Everything can be fixed. This dental office refuses to help me and have left me with a mouth that's slightly deformed, a speech impediment, continuous pain in my jaw and a level of discomfort. I never thought I could ever experience in my mouth. They are pushing me back to the dentist that put the teeth in who left the practice and he also doesn't want to help me. I guess it's a great office if you don't have any problems, but if you do run into problems, he won't help you this Doctor Kong He refuses to respond to me, he refuses to help me or stand behind his work. He wants to blame the dentist that did the work. I paid him $60,000, he needs to figure it out. Please consider this a warning. I'm not going to go away, I am going to continue my pursuit for justice for the rest of my life. I have never experienced anything so awful by a medical professional in my life. Please, find another dentist, don't let that place do any work in your mouth because if it goes bad, he won't be there for you. Shame on him and the dentist who did the work. Run! I always disliked going to the dentist because it would be quite traumatizing for me. Dental anxiety is real! But, coming here was extremely different. They really care for you! This was my first time at this location and wow, I was sincerely satisfied with my experience! Everything from the start of a simple phone call to book an apt, to finishing with Mariana in client services was exceptional. Their procedures for COVID were very efficient and easy to follow. Each employee that I had contact with was so nice and efficient. Jose, one of the Dental Hygienists, was very welcoming, informative, and explained the process and each procedure very thoroughly. As much as I dislike going to the dentist. The staff, dentist and hygienist are professional and extremely friendly. Everyone was very friendly, I arrived early completed my forms, once I got into the room I had to wait 45 minutes for the dentist to come see me. She spent 10 min. she was done. I asked about the cleaning, filling. They said it was scheduled wrong apologized for the miscommunication, when they confirm the appointment they should confirm what the appointment is for. This place is the absolute best! I've been going here for nearly 5 years now. Ramsey is my absolute favorite and always gives the best cleaning. My 3 year old also goes here and has the best experience every time. It's always a good thing when your kids like going to the dentist! This place is like an escape for a mom of 2! I came here for the first time ever (after having used the same dentist for 21 years) on a Monday morning in July 2018. The ladies at the front desk (one of their names was Daisy) were both welcoming and hospitable enough to ask me about my holiday weekend and upcoming plans. The wait was only about 3 minutes long, and the waiting room looked more like the inside of a well-decorated living room than a dentist's office. My hygienist, Felicia, gave me a brief tour of their facility--it is overall a clean and pleasant area. She seated me in their Paris room, and proceeded to ask me if I wanted to watch Netflix or the news. She gave me a menu of additional complimentary amenities to choose from, including a warm neck pillow, headphones, wax hand treatment and special aromatherapy among a few other selections. Yes, I felt like I was at a spa. The cleaning process was detailed from beginning to end--I had never experienced something as easily understandable yet important as this with my previous dentist before. X-rays went smoothly and Felicia explained each step carefully and intentionally. She even used a video diagram to showcase what she was doing with my teeth while checking them. We discussed white teethening options as well without me having to feel pressured to purchase a service just yet. My dentist, Dr. Erickson, was amicable and knowledgeable: she did an excellent job in helping me understand my cavity risks, and relatably explained to me the status of my teeth using an X-ray also. It was a brief encounter but enjoyable. Scheduled my follow-up in 4 months smoothly with no hiccups! Bonus: they gave me a goodie bag full of items that I actually needed, not just any random toothpaste or toothbrush, etc. TLDR: This is a comfortable, thorough, homey and efficient place. Update: I've still been coming here every 6 months and the service has only gotten better and the office has expanded! More room and better service! Check it out! I've been to a couple other dentist offices in my life and never have I been to one as great as High Point. I've been a customer for many years now and can't stress enough how amazing this staff is. They're extremely friendly and explain everything to you in detail. They offer great amenities and it's very accommodating when it comes to scheduling visits. Felicia has been cleaning my teeth for some time and does such a through job and gets me in and out without a hitch (bonus: she also looks good when she brushes her hair). Dr. Kong listens to my issues and always offers his insight as to how to address the problem in the most efficient way. I've hopped around to a few dentists in the Elgin area, but stopped once I found High Point. I have a lot of dental issues due to having porous teeth and therefore spend a lot of time at the dentist. I was thrilled to find somewhere so professional (and SO CLEAN). The three dentists I've seen have all been great, and the hygienists are very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes once I arrive, and I also appreciate being able to watch Netflix while my teeth are worked on (some rooms even have TVs on the ceiling). Also, they are very up front about the cost of procedures and will provide you with a print out of everything in advance so you won't be surprised when the bill comes at the end of the appointment. I opted to go through High Point for Invisalign right before COVID hit, and they were very accommodating in getting me new trays even when they had to temporarily close during the initial shelter in place. Now that they are open again, they go above and beyond to take precautions to protect the staff and patients. read more

Dr. Jason, Felicia, Andrea, and Adilene made me feel extremely comfortable from the beginning. They could tell that I was worried and coached me through the whole process. In Oct, I took my Chinese family here for cleaning (parents) and wisdom teeth extractions (sister). The office staff was totally friendly and patient with my family who speaks little English. We sat down to fill out forms and were taken inside right away! Once seated, Dr Kong and Dr Schrotenboer greeted us and explained to my family the condition of their oral health and what needed to be done. They're both detailed and patient when answering questions even with my translation every now and then. My family all seemed at ease even with the language barrier. My sister's wisdom teeth extraction took just minutes. My mom who is afraid of pain didn't feel a pinch during her deep cleaning. My dad was scheduled for a cleaning but Dr Kong recommended to extract his two wisdom teeth in order to be able to clean and save the teeth next to them. It was so convenient that Dr Schrotenboer was in the office and was able to take out his wisdom teeth as well. They all took one dose of Advil right after and didn't complain about any pain. I told them I could take them home if they're in pain or Fashion Outlets. They chose shopping unanimously. LOL. At night, we all had pho and they devoured everything. The next day my family didn't ask for any more painkillers than just the one dose they took. My sister (typical millennials) who is very obsessed with the way she looks didn't say a word about looking puffy or swelling. It was a huge relief for me. They got on a plane to Hong Kong five days later and 5 pounds heavier than when they arrived! LOL. Kudos to everyone to High Point for your care and making my family feel at ease :-) read more

I had a terrible experience at my regular doctors office. My cousin recommended me to High Point Dentistry. I called right away and Carter was able to schedule me an appt with Dr Sameet right away. I had the best experience and will be coming back as a regular patient. They explained everything that I needed to know right away and were able to call my previous dentist for all the information they needed as well as my insurance. The office is clean, up to date and super cute! They even have amenities: neck pillows, aromatherapy, peraffin wax etc. They even had Netflix available for me to watch during my visit! Best experience ever. Before I start, i just want to mention, this is my first time ever reviewing a business. I just really have to share the amazing experience I've had at this dentist office. Going for my dentist check ups has always been nerve racking for me. I stopped seeing one for probably about 3 years. My coworker recommended me this office. She had so much positive things to share about everyone here. I gave it a go. And I'm so glad I did. Ever since I walked in there, i came across a friendly, professional and caring staff. Making me feel so welcome. They explain everything in detail, as I step in the door, the welcomed me by name. Everything has been excellent.
