Best experience ever. Before I start, i just want to mention, this is my first time ever reviewing a business. I just really have to share the amazing experience I've had at this dentist office. Going for my dentist check ups has always been nerve racking for me. I stopped seeing one for probably about 3 years. My coworker recommended me this office. She had so much positive things to share about everyone here. I gave it a go. And I'm so glad I did. Ever since I walked in there, i came across a friendly, professional and caring staff. Making me feel so welcome. They explain everything in detail, as I step in the door, the welcomed me by name. Everything has been excellent. I did my cleaning, they took care of all my cavities, and removed all of four wisdom teeth in the office! Oh! And they even checked on me later on that day just to make sure I was doing okay. My family and I love High Point Family Dentistry! We wish we had found them years ago! Everyone in the office is so friendly! I found them when I had a dental emergency and they got me in the same day. They have the latest technology and are very thorough and competent. The receptionists are the sweetest! The dental hygienist explained exactly what she was doing and seeing and let me know what I can do on my own to maintain my smile. After having my teeth cleaned here for the second time, I'm ready to leave a review. High Point was recommended to me by a family friend and I'm SO glad I chose to go. The office itself is very nice and they have high tech equipment which is great if you need any dental work done. I love this dentist so much that I convinced my husband to go and he needed quite a bit of work done. They worked with us and accepted our Care credit to cover the remaining amount not covered by our insurance. For me, the teeth cleaning process was great both times! They taught me how to brush so that I gently massage my gums while simultaneously cleaning the teeth. I chose the cherry flavor for the cleaning and it was delicious. My hygienist was excellent! She explained everything and also gave me some helpful advice after I asked her how to properly care for my 11 month old's new teeth. I really appreciate her attention to detail and how clean and smooth my teeth felt after being cleaned. Another one of our friends goes here and his teeth are VERY white thanks to their custom whitening trays. The custom whitening trays are next on my list. I am so glad High Point was at the top of the list when I went looking for a dentist for myself/family. From the moment of my first phone call until the moment I left after my consultation, I have never been treated so wonderful and welcomed! The whole team at High Point is beyond gracious, caring, nice & so professional. I never felt rushed on the phone when going over things with the office (asking/answering questions, insurance, etc). Walking in I was treated as a person and not a number with a more personal touch. A tour of the office on the first visit showing their practice & the different city rooms was great too! The dental assistant was nice, warm & engaging in conversation to help make you feel more relaxed. Dr Erickson was also very sweet and professional who took her time to go over things in detail (even multiple times if needed) plus options. Kristina was then there at the end to help go over finances, payments and plans. She was also amazing and took her time to go over (many times) different options to fit a budget and what could work with an individual and/or family. I've heard rumors that Yelp can't be trusted and this page makes me wonder. The negative reviews were tucked away in a category "Not recommended". Wow. Worst dental experience I've had in 56 years. Seriously injured under my tongue with an L shaped wound and the dentist didn't tell me. I went home, the anesthesia wore off and the pain was enormous. I called them and the dentist blamed me for not keeping my anesthetized tongue out of the way and also this happens all the time. It took 2 weeks to fully heal. When I went in to get the crown and they dropped it on the floor, wiped it off and put it in my mouth. When the crown started giving me problems, less than a year later, I went to another dentist who asked me how old the crown was because it was cheaply made with materials that are rarely used any more, plus it has chip in it. It's been over a year since I got my Invisalign done and I wished I researched elsewhere before I made my decision to move forward with them. They promised me that if I was not happy, I can have up to 3 revisions... After 2 weeks of removing my second revision, I called them and told them I was not fully happy and confident with my smile. They told me it was too late since I already got my retainers... I wish I spoke up because I'm still left unhappy and will go elsewhere to get Invisalign done again. Had an appointment the other day for X-rays and cleaning and I happen to miss it. They called me right at the time of my appointment to reschedule. Unfortunately I wasn't able too and had to call to reschedule. I then received a 2nd call about 3 min after to ask if I was still interested to come in and complete the X-rays, I accepted. I can in and after they took the X-rays they informed me that they were able to fit me in for my cleaning. I was very happy and excited and wasn't charged for the missed appointment Thank you! i LOVE coming to the dentist. The staff is PHENOMENAL and i always feel at-ease and at home here. They are so attentive and are always willing to make everyone personable. I have never had a bad experience with them and they are always willing to make a conscious effort to not only know me as a person, but to make sure that I have gotten the best treatment possible. My mother had the worst tooth ache right around New Years and had to see a dentist; however, all the dental offices around the area were closed due to the holidays, the weekend, or the major snow storm. I searched around the Internet and found Dr. Hariri's office. I called, and he politely answ...ered the phone and was willing to stay past closing time to see my mother. I was very appreciative and made my commute over to his office. Dr. Hariri and his assistant were so nice, patient, and friendly and really made my mom feel comfortable. Dr Ericson is the best! I see Dr Kong who is equally fabulous but my headstrong 3 year old sees Dr Ericson. I'm pretty sure my daughter likes her more than she likes me which is fine because when a 3 year old needs a cavity filled... you don't care who her favorite is as long as she cooperates and doesn't destroy the office. I was told by a pedodontist that I had no other option than to put her to sleep for a filling. I refused to do that and booked an appointment at HP and i couldn't be happier. ***EDIT: Upon reading my review, High Point contacted me to make everything right and did refund me. I sooo appreciate everything they did for me and for making my wisdom tooth removal as comfortable as possible. I would still recommend this office. First off, I want to say my rating has nothing to do with the service itself but rather with how everything was ran. I made an appointment late July when one of my wisdom teeth was starting to grow in and causing a tremendous amount of pain. High Point was the first office I called that would see me with my insurance and that didn't require me to book a consultation appointment ahead of time since I already had my X-rays and referral in hand. The first appointment they had was about a month out but I took it because they were the only office that would take out my bone impacted teeth as well as non impacted. Fast forward to my August appointment, they contacted me last minute and asked me to come in slightly earlier after the doctor review my X-rays. I had my mom drop me off and she was told to it would be about 45 min after the "consultation" (I was confused since I was told there would be none). Anyway, I was told despite the consultation there SHOULD still be time to get my teeth out. First they made me take new X-Rays. Once Dr. Jason came in and reviewed everything he suggested I take the sleeping pill along with nitrous oxide since my bottom teeth were impacted and growing sideways but that the pill was something that needed to be prescribed. So then I had to RESCHEDULE and PAY A CONSULTATION FEE of $100 that I hadn't planned on paying and come back a month later!!! It sucked since I was already in pain and had scheduled time off work and planned to recover over the long weekend. Fast forward again to this past Friday and everything was perfect besides they didn't tell me that I needed to take the sleeping pill in office after signing waivers so on short notice I had to come in 30 min earlier than my scheduled 11:20 time slot. But Dr. Jason and the staff got my teeth out in about an hour and made me feel comfortable and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. It was quick, easy & as painless as wisdom tooth removal can be! read more

Update-The office called me back saying one of the dentist is in network and the other is not in network and they will take care the charges. I will go back because of the great customer service. The good- The dental hygienist was super for my daughters first appointment. The doctor seemed friendly. The bad- They failed to tell us that our insurance was not in-network and their charges are so high that i have to pay 50% of the total costs for being there 15 minutes. Maybe everyone knows this already but i would suggest to check their pricing with your insurance before scheduling an appointment with them. read more

Where do i even begin, for starters i absolutely hate the dentist which is why i haven't seen one for a very long time (over 5yrs+) so going into this i was skeptical and hesitant. After reading views on multiple dentist offices i decided to give High Poiny a shot. Esthetics: the office itself is beautiful and cozy so it gives off a very welcoming feeling, each little room is decorated in a different theme. For example they had rooms themed after Chicago, Vegas, New York, and Paris each having a smartTv mounted so you can watch Netflix or regular tv. How cool!? Amenities: they offer a variety of options to choose from while you wait and are like nothing I've ever seen before; scented aromatherapy, paraffin hand was treatments, warm neck pillow, blanket, headphones, bottled water, scented moist towel. The list is impressive to say the least! Staff: they were absolutely amazing from the front desk receptionist to the dental assistant and dentist. When it came time to meet with the treatment coordinator everything was laid out straight forward and explained in great detail which also allowed me to do a variety of payment options. In short, i love this office and am happy i took the chance because it is now going to be my dentist. read more

It's our 4th appointment in 6 months (my 5 year old son and I both have had appointments) and what a lovely experience each time! I can imagine if someone was apprehensive about the dentist, this would be the office for you. Everyone I've spoken to via phone and interacted with in the office has been friendly, kind, and professional. I hadn't been to the dentist in quite awhile, but there was no judgement- just a "let's get you back on track" approach. Even when trying to get x-rays, my son wasn't able to fit the cardboard pieces in his mouth and started gagging- they were so sweet and patient with him! I first visited High Point on referral from my vacationing dentist after cracking a tooth. Dr. Kong saw me in short order. I was very impressed by his manner and competence, so I vowed to go to High Point once my dentist sold his practice, even though it's about forty minutes away from my house. That time finally arrived so I made an appointment for my daughter and me. She was to have a cleaning and I was to have two fillings that had come out on adjoining teeth replaced. I was not cryptic about this when making the appointment, going so far as to specify the location. We had the appointment today and were greeted with smiles and warmth from all staff. My daughter had two small cavities which they didn't have time to address today. That's a bit unorthodox in my experience but it was clear they were very busy from being either overbooked or understaffed....but, hey, things happen. My real problem comes with my experience. After sitting in a dentist's chair for over an hour being x-rayed, poked and prodded, I was told that I would need multiple appointments for cleaning, deep cleaning, and additional cavity fillings...the receptionist would set up the times. I consented but asked how soon Dr. Ericson would be in to fill the cavities that I had told her, the dental assistant and the appointment-making receptionist about. It was the singular, solitary reason for me being in that chair for over an hour, after all. I was told (and I'm not joking here) that she was running behind and wouldn't have time to do that today. (Though they did have time to secure further work.) Needless to say my x-rays are being forwarded to another dentist. It's sad. After my first visit I actually told people about Dr. Kong and how his whole operation seemed rock solid. But the service they provided today for a guy who probably passed a dozen dentists on his way to their front door, was not competent. It was embarrassing. My wife went here for pain in a tooth. They said she needed a root canal, had her pay $450 for a crown for after the root canal was done. Then sent her elsewhere for it. That Doctor informed her that part of her equipment broke of into my wife's gum and she can't get it and she would have to go somewhere else to get it removed. She we to another Dr. who took an xray and charged my wife $250 for xray and another $150 for visit. WAIT!!!!!!!!! So we have to pay for a mistake that a person recommended by Highpoint made? We went back to High Point they said they would call the dr. and everyone involved said tough break we owe the money. Be careful when using this High Point dentistry. Very friendly employees who make you feel like you are the best patient in the world. They do not stand behind their patients when they send you to another Dr. Oh yeah when we said we wanted our $450 back for pre payment of crown, they informed us it's under $400 now as they took some out to pay for bill of initial visit. Wow! I dont even know where to begin I have been coming to High Point since May 2015. Initially it was just for a consultation but had I expected that that this place would be become like home months later would be beyond me. I have added a picture of my super messed up teeth that Dr. Kong and his amazing staff have turned into something I could only dream of! I have hated my smile, my whole mouth all together the entirety of my 25 years of life. When i went to visit Dr. Kong I would never have expected such a easy and comfortable experience at the dentist ever. If my picture can reflect the attentiveness i have given my teeth; bottom line was i loathed the dentist. Coming into High Point for braces and cleanings had actually become a "task" i ACTUALLY wanted to do. The facility is extremely neat, the staff is AMAZINGLY awesome, and Dr. Kong has a pretty legit taste in music. I honestly can say that this facility holds a legit landmark in my life as a change for the better. I recommend this place to anyone who has any questions or any huge dental work they want to finally want to tackle on. The entire staff is extremely informative on everything!!! My gums used to bleed and it was hella gross every time i attempted to floss (which i later found out i had no idea how to do) but the staff here showed me how to properly floss and I never felt uncomfortable asking questions about what may have seemed like common knowledge to others. When I walked in for my first appointment I was in a bad mood (who enjoys going to the dentist) and also worried about how friendly the staff would be. Recently I got my veneers redone at High Point after having it done some where else years ago and the results I got from Dr. Kong was completely unexpected and pretty freakin' amazing! For a person with teeth like mine I was worried if going to a "family dentist" would give me as nice results as a "cosmetic dentist". I have been to several dentists over the years. Finally I have found a practice that I know will always go to for as long as I live! The front desk girls are terrific, the hygienist explains everything she's doing as she's cleaning your teeth. If she spots a problem, she call the Dr. In immediately to evaluate the situation. They never criticize, only gently advise. They do everything possible to make the experience as pleasant as possible. Warm neck rest, headphones, TV. I sometimes fall asleep because I'm so comfy!
