I have gotten a few piercings here, and they always turn out nice. They have a nice selection of jewelry also, from simple to extravagant. At the old location (W.6th & Lincoln), the staff was very nice and helpful with any questions and easing any angst. However, this location has condescending employees that make it seem as if you are inconveniencing them by having them do their job. The prices are also occasionally unclear. Customer service aside, the piercers themselves do amazing jobs! It's the only place I go to assure perfection. read more

Ari Pimsler is the NICEST piercer I have ever met. He was polite and cordial and everything a dude who works at a tattoo shop, in my experience, is usually not. Definitely a customer service experience I will not forget. Ask for Ari if you go here! I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because although this guy deserves 5 himself, the other people were more typical (again, in my experience) tattoo shop employees. They seemed slightly annoyed that you were there at all and clearly annoyed if you wanted to ask a question about jewellery. I went in and had my nose pierced, the piercer was very helpful and did a great job- i dont remember her name but she explained to me that i should wait to get a hoop so that it heals better and to give it 3 weeks to a month. I took extremely good care of my piercing because I really didnt want a keloid. I work in dental so its easy to do. My nose was healing so well and I loooved it!!! After a little over 3 weeks I went in to exchange my hoop expecting it to be a breeze- he took out my stud and i had zero sensitivity- when the guy went to close the hoop he pinched my nostril and piercing so hard using his fingers- no tools/instruments- that I actually screamed (i didnt even scream when i had it pierced) he stopped and then went back again and hurt me even more , he said he was closing the hoop together.... I immediately started developing a keloid and im close to devastated that my beautiful piercing is now damaged with a keloid. something so preventable. I paid $100 for this read more

Extremely disrespectful. A man with long hair who was working the counter didn't greet or welcome people in. Was pretty slow in the shop, not busy at all. As soon as I got to the counter he told me to not touch my earrings. First thing he said to me when I walked in. He failed to explain why to not touch my earrings. He just flat out told me it was a rule. He was unable to educate me why that was a rule. So I decided to go to the one on 6th street. They were super nice. Very respectful. Atmosphere was so much more positive. Very friendly place. Staff was great. So to everyone who doesn't know which location to go to I would highly recommend to go to the one on 6th. Street!!!! Got tattoo today from Anthony. He acted annoyed and like he didn't want to do it. It was a small tattoo - shouldn't be difficult & was not complicated. He was acting really put out & irritated which made me uncomfortable and like I couldn't give feedback without him being irritated. Not really happy with my tattoo will need to get more shading done to make it look like the photo I provided. Because of his attitude I didn't get want I wanted. Now i will have to pay more money somewhere else to get it right. I just wanted to get out of there! I would NOT recommend! read more

Ari is the best. I got a lip piercing yesterday from momento where they not only pierced it crocked and bruise my lip with clamps my lip was bleeding and was a nightmare. We were just here excited to get a piercing done because we knew that the high priestess location by the U of O campus was really good. So we expected the same kind of service there but after waiting for an hour and 18 minutes we had given up. We were the first ones there when they opened the location. While waiting I had counted three other people being helped before I had. I for sure recommend the High Priestess location off of the university campus! The wait was nearly nonexistent and the person working won't put people in front of you. It's some bunk service at this location. So definitely spend the extra 5 minutes going down the street instead of wasting an hour here. read more

I'm not one to really write reviews but this shop DESERVES ALL THE LOVE. If I could give them 6 stars, I absolutely would. I came into the store as a walk in and the staff was simply amazing. The sweet girl at the counter (Wish I would've gotten her name) was very sincere and professional while talking with me about what I was looking for and walking me through the paper work. She also went out of her way to have a conversation with me while I waited. I think she could tell I was a little nervous and made me feel worlds better. I had an old nostril piercing that was pierced very far back into the crease of my nose by another (shady) shop a few years ago and was bothering me both aesthetically and physically. Ari was so genuine and professional with talking to me about choices of piercings and walked me through everything. He even went as far to mark where I would eventually put a hoop in and made sure I was 100% satisfied with the placement. He changed out my old stud to a smaller, more delicate jewel and added a second piercing just below. Hands down the MOST GENTLE piercing I have ever gotten. Even the day after I had minimum swelling and I can hardly notice it even being there. My last piercing (from a different lousy shop) was extremely painful and took weeks to feel normal. Not this time!! I am blown away by this place. I absolutely love my nose now and I can't say enough amazing things about Ari and the downtown Eugene staff! Thank you all so much! read more

My wife has many piercings and we've always had a great experience at High Priestess. This time (4/7/18) we had a piercer named Sarvas. He was super nice and we had a good time but when it came to piercing, not so fun. He misread the paper and pierced her nose with the wrong stud. No problem, except when he went to change it out for the right one, his hands were shaking SO MUCH that it took him 4 tries and about ten minutes to get it in. She said it was so painful! But alas, she loves her piercing and it looks great. Just some extra pain that she wasn't stoked about. Oh and as we were leaving, he blamed us for "letting him pierce her with the wrong one in the first place". So, that was awkward. Not the best experience. read more

Incredibly judgmental, overpriced, and arrogant piercers..I have not gotten a tattoo there, so I can not speak to their work or attitude..but I am appaled at the lack of professionalism. The first time I went they refused to pierce me without giving me a reason..I had my 1.5yo with me and they assumed (based on what I'm not entirely sure-I'm a single mom and was tired sure )but I'm sure it actually boils down to that the piercer knew my slanderous ex. I got a piercing there awhile back, and it is badly done, my ear is somewhat deformed, and have skin that grew over the earring, I would not recommend anybody get a piercing from them they did a botched job on my ear and I am forever deformed because of them. read more

I previously had a nose piercing and I came in to get my other nostril pierced. My piercer worked on getting my new piercing even with the other one I already had for 10 minutes so I figured they for sure would be even. But no! I thought they were only off because it was a bit swollen but after a couple weeks I now realize that they are totally uneven on the outside and inside of my nostrils. Waste of my time and money and now I'm gonna have a scar for nothing. read more

We returned to Imperial in Boise, Idaho where their professional and courtesy staff quickly changed out the stud to a ring. My daughter had been asking to get her ears pierced for her 4th birthday. I explained to her the process and although she said she understood that it would hurt, I was skeptical that she really "understood ". I knew I wanted to get them pierced at a shop with needles rather than a gun at the mall, cuz you know... Anyhow we walked in with the whole family, they explained that birthday girl was totally in charge and if she was done after 1 ear than she was done, I was told many kids end up with only 1, no biggie. I appreciate this thinking, and I'm glad they make it that way. Our piercer, Tigger was amazing with my daughter, she explained everything in relatable terms, had a very positive attitude and was accommodating to our crowd! After the first ear, the look on my daughters face, I was pretty sure we were done for the day, but Tigger gave her a minute to breathe, get up and show off her new earring and baby girl hopped back up to get the other side done! The only drawback was the high price of jewelry, but I get it, you want the quality and it was her birthday after all. I did tell her though at nearly $80.00 that would be the most expensive jewelry she'd be getting until her 16th. Overall a great experience and I really just can't say enough good things about Tigger! read more

Mix review -- I'll start off by saying that the piercer Jared is AWESOME!! The front desk though... needs help, bad. The brunette girl is horribly rude, impatient and doesn't seem to understand her job. So please ask your piercing and jewelry questions to your piercer. As she doesn't seem to know much about this or doesn't want to talk and answer questions. This has been the experience two different times. Advice to High Priestess management- get someone else to represent your business. She's driving customers away. read more
