A few years ago, when a pipe froze and flooded my house, every plumber in Atlanta was too busy with similar calls to help me out of my predicament. While I was frantically calling every plumber Google suggested, my mother was doing the same thing from 1,000 miles away, only her search yielded slightly less local results. When she called to tell me someone was on the way to my house, I was cynical. But within two hours, Dakota had stopped the indoor waterfall and fixed the broken pipe. And when I decided it was time to get rid of the janky plastic pipes altogether, Dakota and Corry repiped the house with PEX (flexible so it doesn't freeze and crack!) for a very reasonable price. Subsequently, I had High Priority replace a shower valve that was incorrectly installed and broken by a shady contractor. When my 17-year-old water heater went kaput this week, I did a bit of research about brands and pricing before calling High Priority. Dylan came out the day after I called, confirmed the ancient heater had died of old age, and quoted me a price that mirrored what I'd seen during my research. So when he offered a 10% discount because I'm a repeat customer, I was thrilled. Two days later, over the course of three hours, Dylan installed my new Rheem water heater. I especially appreciated that Dylan drained the old heater in a part of the yard that wouldn't become a muddy mess, since I'd rather not spend the weekend cleaning muddy paw prints off my floors. Like Dakota and Corry, Dylan was friendly and personable and seems to genuinely like his line of work. They're the kind of guys I'd want as neighbors. I've hired some unreliable plumbers over the years, so I appreciate the consistency I've found with High Priority. Happy to say my Experience with this Company was so much better than the reviews I see now. My Hot Water Heater started to leak and as other reviewers, the Heater is covered by AHS warranty Service. I Called on a Tuesday,and they scheduled an appointment for Thursday of the same week. They had a very nice young man, Eric come by to examine the Water Heater and present his findings to AHS. He spoke with AHS and his office. He spent extra time explaining to me the items which had to be changed out (such as the Gas Line) to bring the install up to code. I gave him the go ahead to replace the Heater, and without paying overtime, Monday the 15th of September between 1 and 4pm was scheduled for the install. Due to space limits in the Basement, the old and new Water Heater had to be lifted over a 4 foot high block wall and moved along the crawl space and then down over the wall again to the final resting place, two plumbers were needed for the job. Eric and another young man, Darren arrived at approximately 1:30pm and proceeded to change out the heater. All the work was performed in a professional manner. A new Gas Line was run, and the flex hose used. New Hot and Cold water Lines with expansion tank and cut off faucet all put in. Both Eric and Darren worked so well together. You could tell they truly enjoyed there jobs. The install was complete and the cleanup was outstanding. Everything removed was taken and the basement was cleaner than when they arrived. I have nothing but prase for the two workers. Believe me, I will certainly call and ask for Eric and/or Darren again when the need arise for their services. As a final gesture, I was given a Military Discount off the final bill. read more

Along w all of the other BAD reviews, I concur! AHS send me this company ..Either the technician is INCOMPETENT or a rip off artist. From reading other reviews, I believe when it comes to the home warranty customers, they are RIP OFF ARTISTS... TWO VERY MINOR issues I am told I need faucets replaced at a cost of labor of $135 each faucet and I would have to buy the faucets. My husband who is NOT a plumber and a friend went to the property and found one issue to be due to a washer that needed to be replaced. And the other sink w diminished water flow--tangled lines. You mean HIGH PRIORITY PLUMBERS are THAT stupid? That INCOMPETENT? NOPE..they think us warranty customers are stupid. Luckily, the faucets I bought could be returned..all $450 worth. SOOOO...if I had believed them, I would be out of $75 for service call, $270 for labor and $450 for faucets. I believe a simple 'washer' is ..what all of .50 and to untangle lines???hmmm..nothing. WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND. When you try to rip people off, you will get the same in life somewhere. KARMA IS A WITCH and she is coming for this technician. I will NEVER allow them in my property again and will tell AHS they must come off my list of approved providers. RIP OFF and CROOKS...really? I've written probably about 10 online reviews in my life and 2 of them have been for High Priority plumbing. What makes them so awesome? Consistency; Its easy to find a company that has a good employee one time and the next time you need them, you get someone else who is a total miss, but each time I've needed High Priority the folks that they send out have been absolutely outstanding and have gone above and beyond to make the experience an excellent one. I specifically wanted to highlight John who was *exceptional*. We had some issues in the crawl space with some old cast iron pipes that were starting to fail causing sewer gas/odor to come into our house. While replacing the cast iron pipes with PVC John came across an issue left behind by a careless contractor that was causing an old unused PVC pipe to take on water, exacerbating the odor that was getting in our house. He immediately began tackling the problem in an easy-going, knowledgable and confident way, while reassuring us the whole time that our problem was now solved and patiently answering the questions that we had. Because of the excellent experience with John (and therefore High Priority), we decided to double the job and have them proactively remove other portions of cast iron, next week, thats how awesome he was. We continue to use and recommend High Priority because of their team. read more

Edited on 11-27-19 Big Shout Out to JOHN R. I used High priority last year for a leaking toilet, however this year it started leaking again. Naturally I didn't want to go with High Priority but the other company that AHS assigned did not have openings before Thanksgiving and I have a lot of people coming. So I went again with High Priority. As upsetting as my beginning is it didn't seem to get better but it did. My only complaint would be communication, however the customer service holds up. I was scheduled for Wednesday from 3-6. I received 3 text messages confirming my appointment. At 5:00 I called to confirm someone was coming, however the Supervisor (Chris) said that I wasn't on the schedule. I was upset, yelling and fussing, very panicked because Thanksgiving is the next day. Finally Chris told me he would see what he can do and give me a call back. When he called he informed me that JOHN R would be there to service me. THANK YOU CHRIS!!!! JOHN R came and fixed my issue, he also told me why I kept having this issue and I will be calling him back out after the holidays to put in a permanent fix. I did ask why the last guy did not inform me of the actual issue, he told me that the person is no longer with the company. JOHN R is the consumate professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Yesterday, 8.31.2015 the food waste disposal for our kitchen sink went bad and I contacted the home warranty company for our home. The home warranty company dispatched our work order to High Priority Plumbing & Services and High Priority Plumbing & Services sent a standard setting professional licensee plumber to our home on 9.1.2015. Mr. Michael Waters of High Priority Plumbing & Services set my expectations for his arrival with a phone call the first thing in the morning notifying me of the estimated time of arrival. Mr. Waters arrived as discussed and was greeted by our Pomeranian and entertained our dog for a few moments He took the moment to pet her belly, so the dog gives four paws up. She is good judge of character too; Mr. Waters is a once active duty U.S. Marine. Semper Fi, Mr. Waters! Mr. Waters, was very efficient and neat changing out the food waste disposal and I was very pleased with his professionalism and product knowledge. He did a very good job and was a great ambassador of High Priority Plumbing & Services and their services. "My name is Miss Ball, and I'm sharing my experience with High Priority Plumbing's services at my residence. High Priority Plumbing was dispatched through my American Home Shield policy to address an overflowing toilet issue. During the initial visit, the plumber removed the toilet and attempted to resolve the problem by draining and snaking it. However, shortly after their departure, the issue resurfaced. High Priority Plumbing returned for a second visit, using a camera to inspect the pipes connected to the toilet. Their assessment indicated that the problem was outside my home unit, suggesting it was the homeowners association's responsibility. I contacted my homeowners association, and their plumber found that the issue was actually within the unit, providing photographic evidence of a cracked pipe. I am deeply disappointed with the service I received from High Priority Plumbing, both their representatives and the plumbers they sent. I paid nearly $2000 for two separate services, neither of which resolved my home's issue. I cannot recommend High Priority Plumbing to anyone based on this experience." read more

Initially, I was experiencing a problem with two (2) of my toilets a couple of days ago. The seals, in both toilets, were worn due to normal use. Kent, with High Priority Plumbing and Services (HPPS), removed and replaced these seals immediately. Unfortunately, on the same day, I also experienced an issue with my toilet flooding in the basement. Consequently, my wife called HPPS, to report the flooding, and Kent returned to our home immediately. Kent inserted an electric auger, in the clean-out valve. And, after 30 minutes of use, the auger snapped in the PVC pipe. He discovered the pipe was covered with a lot of roots. As a result, Kent suggested that I needed to replace the pipe. I was extremely impressed that Kent and his coworker, Josh, came to our home the very next day. Kent and Josh did an outstanding job in replacing the pipe and restoring our yard with grass seeds, regular straw, and pine straw. I wish that I could have given them "six" stars, instead of "five" stars, for their exceptional performance. read more

Great company! After three plumbers from two different companies had come to diagnose/repair the leak I had in my guest bathroom toilet, to no avail, I finally put my foot down and insisted that my home warranty company send me a senior technician from a third company. They then contacted High Priority Plumbing and Services, who promptly contacted me to schedule an appointment for the next day! ERIC, the plumber that they assigned to my case, was not only very nice, respectful, and professional, but also very knowledgeable, thorough, and informative. He immediately observed and confirmed the leak, diagnosed the problem, and recommended to my warranty company that the toilet be replaced. High Priority Plumbing contacted me the very next day to schedule the removal and replacement of the toilet, and upon my request, sent ERIC again, to do the work. I have to say that my second experience from the warranty company was 10 times better than the first one. Whew! First of all, the dispatcher/receptionist was extremely pleasant and professional when I called both times. The technician called 30 minutes before his arrival time like I had requested, AND he was early. Robert was very professional and patient. He explained what could be the problem and in my opinion, went above and beyond what was expected from the call. He cleaned the shower drain and checked the sink because we thought we had a major issue that was causing the toilet to malfunction. He didn't have to do that. He removed the toilet to find the source of the problem when the standard snaking did not work. He replaced the water line, the flap and another rusted part to ensure my toilet was running properly before he left. It's often easy to rate a service provider when they've done you wrong. You're upset and the venom just flows from your fingers to the keyboard. But I'm happy to provide a review for the great experience I had with High Priority Plumbing. My plumber Chris showed up promptly to repair a leaky shower taking the care to cover his work boots before entering the house. The job was pretty simple but he did have to order a part and return to do the installation. It's their policy to turn the water off outside the house before conducting repairs inside. When he tried to reach the turn-off point the box was full of dirt and mud. He could have left but instead took a shovel and dug out the mud also taking the time to show me how everything works. Chris also noted that my toilet wasn't flushing properly and replaced the flapper. Finally he took the time to adjust my water pressure. High Priority's prices were reasonable and the service was as good as it gets. I'll use them again and recommend to my friends. Great job! read more

Patterson for their exceptional work in resolving a significant bathroom stoppage affecting the main level of my home and the entire water flow system. To address the issue, they expertly excavated the underground line leading into the house and replaced a section of the PVC sewer line. Their professionalism, technical knowledge, and thorough assessment of the problem were outstanding. The project was executed in a seamless, systematic manner, complete with before-and-after photos that clearly documented the work. Upon completion, the landscaping was restored to its original condition, with no disruption to the existing shrubbery. In fact, the area looked even better post-repair. I had astounding service from Alex & Dustin. I saw them working on a neighbor's septic tank, so I went over to ask about pricing for a septic pump. They were both incredibly polite and down to earth guys. They were willing to work into the night to pump my tank too. It was super easy to call into the service center to have them assigned to my house. They discovered an issue with one of my baffles (which I expected based on my last pumping). I sincerely feel like they went above and beyond to take care of my repairs and truly felt they were being honest (a rarity in any field these days). They seemed to take a great deal of pride in their work, which is something else I highly value as I too take a great deal of pride in the work I do. They cleaned up after themselves also. The plumbing under my kitchen sink looked and acted like something out of a nightmare! It was hanging on for dear life and leaked any time I tried to use it. I was referred to High Priority Plumbing by my friend, who uses American Home Shield. She has had nothing but great service from this company. So, I decided to give them a try. The dispatchers were super sweet and very helpful in finding a time that worked with my hectic schedule. On the day of my appointment, CJ came to look at the pipes below my sink. He informed me that the plumbing was all kinds of messed up but told me he could fix it in no time. He was very quick, thorough and did an excellent job. Since he came out, I have not had an issue with the pipes under my sink. Thank you, High Priority, for sending CJ out to my home. I would recommend them to any of my friends in need of a plumber. This business is horrible. I have had to use them on a couple of different occasions through our home warranty company. We had no choice in the matter. The first time was for a water heater problem and it took 4 different trips by different employees until someone tightened a screw to finally fix the problem. Now, I am waiting for them to come and replace my kitchen faucet. While the plumber that initially came out was knowledgeable, I have been waiting 3 weeks to get them to come back and actually fix the problem. No one called to schedule an appointment, I had to make 2 calls to get that done. Today I finally got my appointment between 10 and 1 and it is now 1:30 and have yet to hear from anyone. I called the office and the lady said that the guy got behind on his first call and should be here shortly. Right. I am so sick of dealing with this company. We went through our home warranty company (AHS) for a leak above our ceiling. Chris from High Priority came and was on time, professional, courteous, and just all around extremely helpful. The home warranty company only allowed him one hour to work on the problem, so he had to come back the next week, but like clockwork, he arrived on time (called me first) and did exactly what he said he would do to fix the problem. He handled the job effectively and very efficiently. When and if (God forbid) we experience another plumbing disaster in our house, I will most certainly contact High Priority, and I will ask for Chris specifically. I have seen other reviews on here and I'm astounded at the people who say they had a bad experience. The customer service was phenomenal and I have no bias for saying this. Customer-centered! Courteous! Knowledgeable! Professional! Right when I was ready to give up, Angel (dispatch) and Darin Harwood (Technician) stepped in to save the day!! This was the 2nd service call as part of our home warranty service agreement with AHS. Initially, we were informed it was an electrical issue, but the pump stopped working again and was spewing sewage in our yard. Darin came, assessed the problem, rolled up his sleeves and got the job done!! He was informative, professional and thorough. He not only cleaned out and repaired our Injection Pump, he saved us nearly $1000s in septic repairs. He also offered practical, preventative steps to reduce the likelihood of further damage. Our Home Warranty company sent High Priority out to our home to help us diagnose a shower leak in our master bathroom after previously sending out another company that did not even bother to attempt to locate the leak. High Priority sent Cory Millen and he was awesome! He not only located our problem but connected us to another company that would help us correct the leak since it involves replacing a shower pan in a tiled shower. He was also very thorough and knowledgeable in explaining warranty questions and concerns. To top it off, he was able to get our service fee waived since the original company that was sent did not identify nor attempt to assist us with this plumbing issue. I had an extremely disappointing experience with High Priority Plumbing and cannot recommend their services. From start to finish, the entire process was frustrating and unprofessional. The customer service was shockingly poor. When I did manage to get in touch, the representative was dismissive and unhelpful, making me feel like my concerns were not a priority at all. When the plumber finally arrived, it was clear that there was a severe lack of knowledge and expertise. Simple questions about the problem were met with vague answers, and instead of resolving the issue, it felt like they were guessing their way through the job. The repair was incomplete, and the technician recommended changing a leaking hot/ cold fixture to another plumbing company. This was one of my worst experiences with a service provider. read more
