We had an intake line burst in the water heater closet in the house just before midnight recently (not due to freezing). With water spraying into the closet, we quickly called around looking for a 24-hour plumber with decent ratings. Several of the more recognizable names in the area were not 24-hour, but Atlantis dispatched Tony S. with a 40-minute arrival time. Tony arrived, quickly assessed the situation and got the water shut off. Then, he went to work to replace the section of pipe. Suspecting a pressure problem, he ran those checks as well, ultimately finding the burst section of pipe was old and had weak or damage spots and the pressure was fine. He did point out some changes we might consider (previous owner had self-installed this water heater), but there was no high-pressure or dire warnings just to secure more work. Now, it was an emergency fix in the middle of the night, so I won't say it was cheap, but not sure what plumbing service is these days - we recently had other plumbing work done by another company & our jaw dropped at that bill. Tony was fast, friendly and got us back in business. We may have a new go-to plumber. read more

Their consultation is $85 but if you get service through them it is waived. They had quickly identified the problem and resolved it right away, they came in a little earlier than the appointment time which made it even more convenient. After having my toilet unplugged by Atlantis plumbing, the very next day it plugged again. I called Atlantic Plumbing to return to fix the problem once again, but this time I asked for a Master Plumber. Rob had to remove the toilet to locate the problem, which he removed. Because of the kind of toilet I have, Rob made several suggestions yo help prevent another reoccurrence including changing toilet tissue and holding the flush handle down until all of the water has entered the bowl. Following these simple suggestions, the problem has not returned. Rob and his apprentice were superbly knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. Please proceed with caution when doing business with this company. The company is advertising " free quotes" on their website and when you speak to them over the phone to book the appointment in order to reel you in. Once they come to your home, they inspect the problem, when the plumber offer you a repair price, the $85 service fee is actually embedded within the cost of the repair. I will proceed with caution in the future when dealing with this company. I only called them since the repair needed in my home was an emergency. The plumbing company that I usually deal with does not have the manpower to respond to emergencies right away sometimes since their company is truly a small business ( 3 to 5 employees) and they are constantly booked because they are excellent at what they do in the plumbing world. Atlantis Plumbing team did a great job fixing a leaky waterline another company had been working on for the past three years. It's been a couple of months and so far no leaks. The company installed a completed water line from the meter to the water tank. The team kept us informed as the work was done. Making sure the cut-off valve was accessible. The cleanup was done to my satisfaction inside and out. After spending $7.99 (monthly) for the past 10 years with a Homeserve (contracted Mcatee) and never having the problem resolved, the price was very fair. This morning I went downstairs to my basement only to find I had a PVC pipe leaking at the "elbow" joint. I'm a big YouTuber so I thought I might consider trying my hand at it. I quickly changed my mind. Did not want to spend my Saturday with guess work. I had to turn off the water to the house so naturally that suggest this is of an urgent nature and required immediate attention. I sent a Video to Atlantis to see if I could get a reasonable estimate as quickly as possible. Rick was the person I spoke with, he reviewed my video and quoted me $525.00. I was eager to get this done so I immediately responded "yes." He promised (because I asked) if the quote was firm. He said, yes and guess what....it was the price he charged. Not a penny more nor a penny less. He arrived in about an hour or so with a gentleman name Tim. They both came inside, closely viewed the job and told me they would be back shortly, apparently needed additional supplies, they returned very timely (less than 30mins) and shortly afterwards the job was completed in less than 25mins. Must say that was the quickest $525 I ever spent but that's the cost you pay for professional service you can't do on your own. It is 4 hours later no leaks. I'm told I have a 6 month warranty and that my water pressure PSI is 82 and it needs to be lowered. He quoted me $575.00 to take care of it when I'm ready. I would recommend them. So get a leak from my water heater but not an easy one to investigate. Called Atlantis because I used them several years ago at my other home and was very pleased with them. John showed up for the service call and let me tell you, as professional and down to earth as they come. He did an awesome job, was prompt, worked around my schedule and was able to fix the problem. I really thought I had to replace the whole water heater but instead, it was just the expansion tank, which was installed incorrectly from the builder!! Anyway, we are back up and running, and no issues so far. I would highly recommend Atlantis plumbing as they really are a solid company to work with. I'm not one to write reviews but in this case I feel compelled. I hired Atlantis to repair a minor leak in a faucet. They came out, inspected and quoted a reasonable amount which I agreed. It needed a part which they ordered and came back and installed. Still leaking! They sent another plumber and he said wrong part was ordered. They ordered part again, missed three appointments to instal. Finally came out and installed part. Still leaking! Chris the manager came out and I was notified everything was completed and working. Next day, still leaking. Called Chris and asked for a refund which they never credited. I would advise to find another plumber, very frustrating and poor customer service. read more

I had a leak on 10/11/19 by the side of driveway and called Atlantis Plumbing to look at. They sent a plumber on 10/12/19 morning. I met him and he said that he will look into it and let me know how much he will charge but minimum will be $300. I left for work and he called me after 20 minutes that I have polybutylene and a pinhole leak and cost to repair $375 with no warranty. Although price was high but I had no other chice at that time. I told him to go ahead. After 30 minutes he called and said it is fixed. My wife paid by her credit card and he left a receipt in the mailbox. When I came home and saw instead of removing the layer of grass and after refilling dirt putting the sod layer back,he filled the dirt and about 9"-12" mount of dirt was there.This was very unprofessional. We had Robert Camp come out and give us an estimate on Monday. Estimate was good - we signed it and he was scheduled to come back on Wednesday to do the job. Then on Tuesday, someone named Chris from Atlantis showed up and said the estimate would be 2.5 times higher than what was written by Camp. I called Atlantis and they said they didn't know why Chris came out and Robert was scheduled to be out on Wednesday. It is Wednesday and Mr. Camp is not here and the receptionist told me that "he is where he's supposed to be" and wouldn't explain it. Absolutely awful. read more

Did a jetting two months ago and now the blockage issue has come back. Paid $1300 for the service which they only have warranty for 30 days. Promised me that I'll have my camera footage, but that just never happened. Now they claimed they didn't record my camera record so it's missing forever(although I paid for it), and they want more money just to come and check the issue they failed to fix last time. They were also reasonable about their availability and how soon they could send out a plumber from their crew. The only reason I could not give a perfect review is because we had an experience with one of the plumbers that was a bit less professional - slammed our front door very hard a few times on his way out to truck and was a few hours late to start the project. We had a galvanized steel water supply line replaced and could not be happier. Our quote was done by Robert who was very friendly and insightful. Cody and Justin then did the work and they were also very friendly and treated our property as if it was there own. I was worried about ruining our front lawn and landscaping and they minimized the impact as much as possible. They even raked the landscaping bark to either side of the trench path so that it could be easily put back once the trench dirt settles. The trench width was also much smaller than I thought it would be. They were very clean-cut about it which minimized how much grass will need to replaced. Pricing, service and result were all great. My husband reached out to Atlantis Plumbing yesterday about our hot water not staying hot for long. Tim showed up first thing this morning to check out the problem. Jason, my knight in shining armor, arrived within a 1.5 hour notice when 4 other plumbing firms had let me down. I had a sewer smell in the master bath of my new home and come to find out (with Jason's help) that it was completely built wrong - no P traps, exterior nails going through sewer line, etc. Jason stayed from 9am - 8pm and came back the next day to complete the project. He showed me every item and why it needed to be fixed.
