I tried to use this business to return an online purchase I had made. The worker there that day was very kind and helpful and I thought everything was in order. After 3 weeks and the return not getting to its destination, I decided to come by in person to see if they could help me find out what was going on with my package. The same worker happened to be at the counter that day, and I explained to him my issue with the return shipment. He immediately became defensive and hostile. A second female worker overheard this, came over and began aggressively trying to shoo me out of the business, claiming they were not the official post office and that they could not help. I'd just like to say that I am well aware that they are not the post office. In fact, they are an unnecessary middle man whose only justification for being in business would be it's convenience and customer service, both of which are completely lacking if the package never gets to its destination and you get a bunch of attitude when you try to find out why it didn't. I am very much pro small business, but experiences like this make you question which ones are staying afloat simply because of the kindness of the community supporting it, and not on its own merit. read more

I arrived in the store on Monday roughly 10-15 minutes before closing. After having waited in line (of roughly 7 people), and having everything completed for shipping (except paying the shipping fees), Jamie told me that she would not ship my 3 packages as it was 6:07. After I asked her why she wouldn't (and, if time was the case, why did she fulfill everyone else's requests), she said 'I don't give a shit about your packages' and proceeded to blame me for making her stay 'after hours'. Given the circumstances, I asked for her manager's name and phone number, to which she replied that the "manager wouldn't give a shit either." As promised, yesterday I called the manager, Christine, who appeared to be sincerely sorry for what had occurred and promised to speak to Jamie about her actions. So, Christine's apology is what has caused this review to get 2 stars or else I would've given it 1 star. As I told Christine, I will never come into that post office ever again. And I hope no one else does until Jamie is removed as she is not capable of performing her role. read more

This review is for the woman who works behind the counter at the annex post office within High Ridge Printing and Copy Center. To be clear, I am NOT reviewing High Ridge Printing. Every time I walk into this post office, the woman who owns the licensing for the post office is extremely nasty and she uses a terrible tone of voice. Two weeks ago, I walked into this location and there was a woman in front of me who looked to be 95 years old. She simply asked the clerk how to track her package. When the woman meanly told her to track it on her computer, and the elderly woman explained she didn't have a computer and had no one to help her, the woman yelled at her so badly the elderly woman cried. The nasty woman told her that she MIGHT be able to help her if she came back in a few days and there were no other customers in the post office. I will never ever go to this post office again. I was so appalled with this woman's behavior that I cannot possibly patron this location. read more

absolutley horribl service. in the post office part. This woman was rude, and talked down to me and other customers. I waited 20 minutes for my turn and in the middle of my getttig my package sent.. she said to everyone waiting.. " does anyone just need stamps?' and left me in the middle of the transaction. She had NO ability to get that she needed to just finish with me so I could leave before she started selling stamps. She started yelling at me that I could take my package somewhere else. after we were 3 minutes from finishing . The people that work behind the desk are always friendly and helpful. The service can be slow but it is usually because of the customers not knowing what's going on. It's a good place to drop a package off quickly or to find help to mail out something. read more

Possibly the rudest employees in Stamford. I used to frequent this shop for all of my mailings, however in the last month I have had highly unprofessional and unpleasant encounters with two employees (one female on a Saturday and one male on a Tuesday). Not only were they unhelpful (I was doing two basic USPS mailings) but the woman flat out refused my Visa/MC b/c the total was pennies shy of their $10 CC/Debit card minimum (that is illegal BTW). The man told me to go to a "real" post office if I wasn't happy with his attitude. Unreal. I'm all about giving local businesses in the area business when I can and this is a case of DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. They do not deserve anyone's business with such horrible customer service.
