Their IG account graces my eyes on the daily, and I don't know if it's the seductive, sexy way they spoon their cheesecake to show us cheesecake whores-alike what we're missing, but holy it works! I RAN to their website and grabbed their 2-12oz scoopables in the oh-so-tart Coconut Lime Supreme and Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait... yall.. that supreme rang my bell so well! Tangy, sweet, lime-ee, creamy and very little coconut. Pretty sure my eyes rolled back into my head. But then... you try the other, more calm one to off set the tang and SHES JUST AS GOOD! Very mellow in comparison but definitely a pallet pleaser, and I am NOT a rhubarb fan. But this little 12oz of joy.. sign me up! We recently visited here as a Nebraska Passport stop. Bookguy isn't that fond of cheesecake but said he would try the cherry cheesecake. I went with strawberry. Bookguy was disappointed because he expected it to be topped with cherries instead of infused. My strawberry was the same with a ribbon of strawberry flavor and a couple chunks of strawberry. I liked it, but I think I would have enjoyed a plain traditional piece better. The consistency was great--baked perfection. They also have other cheesecake treats such as chocolate chip cheesecake sandwiches cookies, mini cheesecakes, samplers with different flavors and scoop-able cheesecake. I thought the scoop-able bins were ice cream at first. Many of the items they sell can be shipped frozen. There's also outdoor seating. I myself, am lucky and can take a quick trip to snag a bite when I'm craving something sweet! I got the samoa cookie cheesecake. it's gluten free and absolutely delicious. My husband liked it too and he's not a cheesecake fan. Service is quick. I love how offer free samples before choosing a flavor. I went to High Society Cheesecake after seeing it all over TikTok and honestly it was a little overhyped. The cheesecake is good, but I think I prefer a regular slice of cheesecake. I had the crème brûlée flavor and it had the classic burnt sugary coating on top like you see on a regular crème brûlée. When they scoop it out like ice cream, the top gets mixed in, which probably works great for other flavors. But for crème brûlée, I like the top to be crunchy. Since it had been sitting out, the top was soft, so it was almost good but not quite what I hoped for. I think I would have liked another flavor better. Was finally in the area to give this place a try, and I was not disappointed! They had a ton of different products and flavors of cheesecake to take home or enjoy in the shop. There were a few tables/ seats inside the restaurant if you decided to stay and eat. I appreciated that they had so many gluten free flavors as well, and this is something that isn't always available to people who can't eat gluten. The workers were so nice and explained all the flavors, and answered any questions I had. We tried the flavors "Flan, Buttered Rum, and Pumpkin Spiced Latte". They do cheesecake very well - from a slice of thick, creamy goodness, to dipped in chocolate on a stick or a scoopable bowl you can add your own toppings too, High Society Cheesecake knows their stuff when it comes to this sweet dessert. As far as the bistro, vegetarians will be in heaven! Well, sort of. These aren't over the top fancy dishes but there are more vegetarian options then there are carniverous ones! My friend who was with me comes here regularly because of the vegetarian menu and close proximity to her office and raved about several of the options, especially Pat's Special which includes avocado, chipotle mayo, provolone, lettuce, tomato, red onion all on pretzel bread. I had the French dip. It was ok. I am pretty picky and I thought the au jus was lacking in flavor/watered down and there was a mustardy sauce on the sandwich that kind of threw off my tastebuds. But that cheesecake though. And that's really what matters, am I right? The service was great. Very friendly and eager to tell me what they loved on the menu. I also liked the decor. I was very comfortable. This is not a big space, maybe ten tables, but it wasn't super busy. I actually found this place in the middle of the night by doing a Yelp search for cheesecake. I knew we would be going to Lincoln the next day to try to get to some relatives to hunker down for the pending storm we were about to drive into. I was not a bit disappointed when we arrived. They had a wonderful selection of flavors to choose from. They had full cakes, make your own sampler and mini cheesecakes. So of course we had to make our own sampler. We selected from about 20 different flavors. While we were waiting for it to be put together, we shared a lunch special of 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup. I had the 1/2 sandwich of Roast beef and cheese on a pretzel roll. It was really good. Pretzel roll was soft inside and just a little crisp on the outside. Mom had the Minestrone. It was chocked full of good stuff and delicious as well. Or sampler consisted of Pumpkin, Turtle, Original and Amaretto. Each flavor was very distinct. Sometimes you get cheesecake that just tastes like plain even thought it is flavored. This was SO not the case. I still can't decide which I liked best of the 4 of them. We cut the slices in half so we all could sample some of each. There was plenty left over, but I think we all ate our fill and then some. Not only is their cheesecake selection fantastic (I mean, if you are going to call yourself High Society Cheesecake, you better have some fantastic cheesecake!), they have incredible sandwiches and soups. The sandwich I regularly order is the Pesto Chicken with an addition of fresh avocado. That sandwich's pesto is perfect and not too overwhelming, the chicken cooked to perfection, and the addition of avocado is necessary because...well, I love fresh avocado on just about anything! The soups are also great, going through a rotating list throughout the week. My personal favorite is the broccoli cheese. This soup does not overwhelm you with broccoli, which is my biggest quip with this kind of soup. The cheese to broccoli ratio is absolutely perfect and you can tell when you taste it that it was prepared fresh. My husband and I just moved to the south side of town, and boy, have we found our new favorite lunch spot. I decided to try it out on a whim during a long day of unpacking, and I'm sure glad I did. The first time I went, I got the Optimus Prime and a slice of Turtle Cheesecake. The sandwich was the perfect combo of flavors, and the bread was deliciously buttered and grilled to a perfect golden brown. The Turtle Cheesecake was wonderful -- so much so that it distracted me from my sandwich for a bit. The second time, I brought home the Bacon Chicken Apparatus and Fire Roasted Corn Chowder, as well as a slice of English Toffee Cheesecake for myself, and Chocolate Covered Strawberry for my husband. My husband took one bite of the sandwich and wanted to know where it came from -- he was hooked. I didn't think it was possible to like a sandwich more than the Optimus Prime, but I regretted making the decision to split it rather than each get our own. The Fire Roasted Corn Chowder was a little thin for a chowder, but the flavor was great. I thought the English Toffee Cheesecake was a little heavy on an almond extract flavoring, personally, but it was still good. After waking up in the midst of my post-New Years Eve fog, all I wanted in life was the Bacon Chicken Apparatus. I really enjoyed a meal I had here a while back. Sometimes things at work get pretty heated. I do work at one of the top wireless telephone companies in the US and it's a competitive environment. It's not uncommon to get stabbed in the back (figuratively, not literally LOL) or stab someone else in the back, if they deserve it (of course) or if that's what it takes to get a head. They market themselves as a high class place to get cheesecake but its much more than just that. They make exceedingly good veggie sandwiches. I like the One-Two-Niner but also recommend the Trolley Stop. For those with a meat tooth try the Optimus Prime Rib. It goes without saying that the cheesecake is exceptional. I would definitely say to get the sampler and try a little of everything. They say it serves 12 but I got one for myself and it wasn't too much. After trying their pesto chicken sandwich and the red velvet cheesecake, I can honestly say I will not return nor will I suggest this "restaurant" to any friends. For over $17 I received a meager portion of a sandwich and a small, bland cheesecake. I selected a slice of strawberry cheesecake and a box of cheesecake cookies - red velvet with their cheesecake filling for my husband to try. He's a red velvet fan. I see others have raved about this place. I don't know if we got something that was past its prime or something else occurred? My slice was blah and the strawberry flavor was minimal. I've never tasted a cheesecake like that, and it was not good. Then we sampled the cookies. They tasted off. I took a second bite thinking I just didn't get a true taste with my first bite. I ordered the 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad combo with the One-Two-Niner, and he got the vegetarian Chicken Parm sandwich, and we shared a slice of double chocolate cheesecake. I loved the pretzel bun of my sandwich, but there were hardly any fillings and the sandwich was just sort of boring and bland, and I was really glad I'd gotten a half salad as well. I tried his and liked it better, but it still wasn't great. Sort of disappointing for a place that's known for being vegetarian friendly. With this said, the cheesecake was AWESOME.
