I've been on the hunt for a good barber, for a while now. I've been doing $10 cuts with a good tip, truth of the matter, I Like those folks, but wasn't always happy with my cut. I am very likely the person, who absolutely couldn't care less. Things change. I tried a place or two, and haven't found anyone I feel good about giving my money to. Well I've been studying Yelp reviews and comparing reviews with what I know and new places. A couple stood out, the first I tried, it was busy, lots of employees and friends I guess. It took way too long to acknowledge me as I stood in the entry. I boogied. I found Enzo's new place, with good reviews, he apparently struck out on his own, congratulations to him! I made an appointment for late after noon and made my way over there early, as it was raining quite hard. He's a very nice, multi talented guy, but the talent I was happiest with was his ability to do a "reparative cut" (my wording) reestablishing my part and preliminary taming of a cow lick that everyone just cut short. It's in a nice neighborhood, a little further than I like but it's a nice area to visit. As far as price, I honestly didn't pay much mind as I was happy to be dealing with him and it's a brand new shop, I may have over tipped, but without regret. He is an excellent Barber and a nice person to interact with. I'm his client now. Try him out! I love taking photos but forgot an outside picture. The inside is clean and a work in progress. I made an appointment in their system. The day of I received a confirmation and the appointment was confirmed. I was then contacted as being a no show even though my appointment was for 3 hours later. The owner acknowledged that this was a glitch in the system and thanked me for bringing it to his attention. He then went on to say that I didn't have the courtesy to cancel the appointment. How am I a no-show when my appointment hasn't even passed yet?! It was a system glitch to which was acknowledged by the owner and instead of having the situation addressed and rectified, I was told I did not have courtesy. This place came highly recommended and I was excited to try it out. Needless to say, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Bad customer service = Bad business! read more
