Where to even begin by how incredible this experience was. First off just walking into this incredibly aesthetic salon they are amazingly kind. I got a haircut, facial, and eyebrow waxing all from Sofia. Impeccable job and great conversationalist. I then went on to something never experienced before at a salon which was the image and wardrobe consultation with included a photo shoot. The vibe felt upscale, classy and vibrant. I loved everything from the decor, to the staging area where you could leave your coat and hat, to the music. The place is great, very relaxed with cool music playing throughout. Reason for the 3 star is the barber I got really didn't listen to my needs or requests. This is my first time growing my beard and I asked for recommendations for a beard trim wasn't given any. He just got the trimmer and cut the hairs that were sticking up without shaping the beard or anything. I was disappointed since the website states about consultations and was not given any advise, recommendations or suggestions. Again, it's a really nice shop and maybe if I would gotten a different barber, my experience would have been different. read more

Second time writing a review in my 53 years. Not much on this planet has compelled me to review, but i think this is worth one. I brought my 14 year-old grandson while he was in town, for his Thanksgiving cut (luckily they knew what he was asking for because i was clueless to the teen terminology) while i received my usual executive shave (Heavenly). He was awestruck! He had never had anybody in his hometown pay him such detail while treating his textured hair. When i called him to ask how many stars he would rate his experience he said 7 out of 5. His mom tells me that every conversation he has with his friends about getting a cut in her presence, he recaps the experience ending with "I can't wait to go back". It takes a certain kind of place to have an effect on people and the Perfect Gentleman is definitely one of them. I just wanted to take another minute to speak on the continued experiences I have had provided to me over the years (11+ of them serviced by Ricky). Appointments are not kept. They don't have the customer service / decency to call a customer to advise that they are running behind. They'll just have you sit there for over 30 minutes as if your time doesn't matter. Do better! Update: You have the nerve to say my son was a no show after he walked out. 3 star haircut but 1 star hair products. I called to set up an appointment. When speaking with a lady on the phone I specifically asked if there was someone there who could cut black hair, I get a fade to skin on the sides and short top along with a lineup. The lady in the phone said yes and we booked the appointment for a few hours later that day. When I arrived to check in a little before my appointment there was a lady at the front desk and another stylist working with a client. The place is very nice, clean, and has a great ambiance. The lady at the front desk asked if I wanted any kind of refreshment, I declined and she said hesitated at first but then said what I wanted haircut wise should be fine. I had a feeling at that point that there might be an issue, but I was on a time crunch to leave for my brother's wedding the next day which I needed to travel to. So I decided to get the haircut. Staci was the stylist available for the haircut. She was nice, talkative, and welcoming. She did say however that she is being taught how to cut hair by her boss, so she is still learning. I decided that was fine, we all have to learn at some point so went ahead with it. I told her what wanted while she was wrapping me in the gown and neck protector and she began. In my experience barbers typically use a pick on my hair first so that it's puffed out and you get a good idea of what it looks like and how long it is. This is not what she did, she just started cutting. She also, recommended not cutting it as short as I wanted which I said was fine. I was thinking maybe she isn't as comfortable yet since she is learning and I definitely didn't want her outside of her comfort zone while cutting my hair. She also during that time said I had a little bit of dandruff and asked about my shampoo, I told her she said it was a bad shampoo and said she would recommend some products when finished. I would say about 3/4 of the way through the cut, we stopped and went over so she could wash it, then went back to cutting it. Again without picking it out. She finished up applying some product and using a diffuser and that was it for the cutting part. Overall the haircut was fine, not exactly what I was used to but it was good enough. I touched up some parts of it when I got home to smooth it out a bit more and get rid of the strands that were noticeably sticking up in all directions. Usually the part a barber does at the end with scissors. She didn't really line it up the way a barber would except for the sideburns, around the ears, and the back at the neck. Anyway, we walked over to check out and she started recommending products. A shampoo, a conditioner, and an oil. She said they would help clear up the little bit of dandruff, but I needed to use them everyday at the same time like a medication. A bit strange, since I don't know anyone that washes their hair everyday. But I purchased the products anyway figuring she was a professional and maybe that was the reason I couldn't quite clear all of the dandruff up. Well my scalp has been dry and itchy like no other since I started using the products. So much so my wife even commented on how much more dry it's been. We both agree it's gotten worse than it was. So I decided to stop using them, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Overall the facility is very nice and the people that work there are inviting, but the hair products didn't work for me and the haircut was just fine. I would expect a bit better for the cost of both the products and haircut. read more

Last Friday I went in for a haircut, and for the first time I had Tony. Told him it was an important cut and he said "I'm going to give you the best haircut you've ever had", walked out 45 minutes later with a 10/10 cut. I've been there 6-7 times now and each time, the person cutting my hair has had awesome vibes. Music's always good, they offer you a beer when you sit. A little pricy for a cut but at the end of the day, it's top quality and you get what you pay for. Shout out Tony for last week's cut, will be requesting him next time. read more
