Alan allowed us to dominate the spa the entire time the party was going on and turned the music and TV screens to what we requested. I was allowed to bring in my own food and drinks, so that alone saved me over a $150! The technicians were very organized and none of us felt rushed or like we had to wait too long for our treatments. I got tons of compliments from the bride and the other "party goers". I gave High Stone 5 stars because for what I specifically wanted, it was wonderful! I thought I'd try out this location. Sadly my experience there was not pleasant or fulfilling. The reasons why I came in for a massage was to relax and to address a pain spot in my back. My masseuse was not able to help with both. I don't know if bc she was a beginner, or she was lazy or tired bc I came later in the day but the massage given to me was unattentive and inconsistent with pressure points. I was really uncomfortable saying anything to her because I didn't want to embarrass her in front of her colleagues and other customers since we were all together in one big room. This review is a little overdue. Went here for the 2nd time during the first weekend of November to get a chair massage for my mother and I. Upon walking in, the woman behind the counter actually told my mother that she was talking too loud. Lol. Wow. I thought that was kind of rude. I wanted to leave, but whatever. I've come here several times due to the ability to get same day appointment and low prices. It would sometimes be really nice, but ended up being not nice most of the time. Reason I can't give it 5 stars is because I thought the massage would be nude in a private room and it was actually clothed in a large room with about 10 other people also getting massages at the same time which I thought was strange. Also the massage felt good and released some anxiety because the man I got used a lot of pressure so basically forced me to breath very deeply, but he missed many spots and pressure points. The pressure he did was more focused on a large area rather than putting pressure on specific points if that makes sense. I'd go back if I wanted to feel like someone was putting their whole body weight on me but not for a deep tissue massage which is what I usually go for. read more

They do the Chinese style of reflexology where they karate chop your muscles, and it's a communal massage, so there may be someone else next to you. Still though. They say only males available and then try to force you to make an appt at another time with a female so they can get your credit card. I was feeling mentally and physically exhausted and was in desperate need of a massage on a Sunday. I googled places in my area and High Stone popped up. I decided to give them a try. I called to make an appointment which was really easy. They are very flexible and now I understand why. This place is not your traditional massage spa/parlor where you have a private room and are able to disrobe. They have many tables set up in their main area where the magic happens. Everyone gets their massages in the same place by different masseuses (I don't think they are licensed massage therapists). Everyone lays on separate tables in rows next to each other. You can hear heavy breathing and snoring from other clients. Anyway, I was confused but just went with the flow. My masseuse had me take my socks and shoes off. Luckily I had my yoga pants on that reached my calves so I didn't have to roll up my pants. By the way, I do recommend wearing very comfortable and thin clothes when coming here since you do keep your clothes on. Anyway, she had me lay down and put my feet into a relaxing bucket of very warm water. She then got started on massaging my face and scalp. After that she moved on to the neck, shoulders, arms and hands. She worked on all of that for 20 minutes, then moved on to my feet. The reflexology treatment was definitely my favorite. I can't explain how good it felt. I just remember waking myself up twice, one time from each foot, from snoring because it was that good! She really went in on my feet. That was 30 minutes. Then she had me flip over onto my stomach and worked on my back and shoulders the last 20 minutes. She put a towel on over my shirt to massage so that was kinda weird. Overall, the whole experience was new and unique to me. I'm not sure I would go back just because I like the traditional massages that I'm used to (skin to skin contact) in a private room. But I'm glad I gave it a chance and tried something new. 70 minutes for 34.99 is a great deal. P.S. Don't forget to tip! read more
