Small place hidden a bit that is a complete gem! It can get busy, it's small and just small amount of staff. It was not busy when we first arrived but soon they were. The pizza is made fresh before your eyes , calzones and salads on bar are fresh and homemade! Everything from sauce to crust they make.. sooo delicious and fresh. No frills just great food and a small little eclectic ambience. There deserts of cheese cake and cinnamon roll are also very good when you are lucky enough to get before they run out. read more

Rainy night we narrowed our choices to hamburger or pizza, which was the winner for tonight. Pizza won, and boy am I glad won as this place (the chef/cook knows and wields their craft to perfect pizza heaven). Walked in, greeted and saw we place our orders at the counter as we enter. We read the menu and the husband knew exactly what he would order (typical) ... the pizza with lots of meats and zero veggies. I decided to once again order the flip of his .. small veggie pizza. We asked "what kind of crust do you have" and immediately we were told "it's not like at ..." (the chain shall remain unnamed). That sounded positive; we said we like more of a thin and crispy crust. We watched as someone brought out a tray of rising balls of dough -- home made (in house) pizza dough! Ordered our drinks, water for me and a soda for the husband. They actually gave me a large glass of iced water! I didn't think that could happen any more. Why is it (RANT ALERT) that when I (maybe everyone) orders water we get this little sippy cup like some punishment. I DRINK WATER, a lot of WATER. Give me a large cup. I promise I will not have a slip of the hand and press one of the soda or tea spigots. Back to the review ... Pizzas were delivered to the table. They were piping hot and looked delicious (especially mine, the veggie pizza). We each ate half of our pizzas. I went to the counter and asked for a to go box, which was quickly procured. The chef / owner (?) asked what did i like the most about the pizza. The crust first off, it was solid not wimpy and wiggly. It had been cooked on something hot and flat; either directly on the bottom of that big oven or a H-O-T pizza stone. Then the toppings, it was so thick and gooey with toppings and yet there wasn't anything uncooked or cold or questionable. We both (the husband and I) agreed that this a great pizza place. What needs work: seemed like the chef/owner (?) is also the trainer of the staff, and that might be a lot to be doing all at once when there's pizza orders coming in right and left. Either the staff are right new to their new part time roles or they didn't realize the importance of their roles. The food is what brings the people in, the service (staff) is what determines the ROI, their attitude, energy, enthusiasm is what can make a place from good to GREAT. read more

The food used to be so good but now that they have changed recipes, not everything is good anymore. They hardly put the salsa on the quac, the spaghetti doesn't have any flavor. It's just not worth it anymore. Service wise, they are good sometimes but not always. High street just isn't how it used to be. read more

Let me start with a few things. 1. The food is absolutely fantastic, you cannot get better pizza in 50 miles. 2. The atmosphere is super cool! 3. They are terribly slow in any semblance of a rush. You may wait 20 minutes for food, or an hour. Get a salad bar and hangout and wait. It's worth it. 4. They are under new ownership recently, and the owners are doing a great job on everything. Our pizzas were burnt, they only have one crust now, they never come back to the tables for drink refills or anything... service, friendliness, food quality all have gone down hill with the new owners. Hate to say it but we had to tell them the pizzas were burnt the lady up at the ft and the owner just shrugged their shoulders. Staying at a ranch in Antlers, OK for a spring break getaway. There aren't a tremendous number of dining options in the area, and we'd already experienced a lackluster meal at an Italian restaurant in another nearby town, so I didn't have great hopes for this place. I am happy to say I was wrong. I had a veggie Fred (calzone) and it was delicious! Packed full of veggies in a flavorful sauce; I ate every bite. My daughter had spaghetti and the sauce was equally good. If we come back this way, we will definitely eat here again. If you are in the area, it's worth a stop. read more

Rolled in here, after a long day at work and long drive. Light was off on sign and we thought they were closed. Made our way in and picked a spot on the elevated stage. The folks working here are genuine. Took our order, got us salad plates, for the salad bar and refilled our teas and soft drinks. Dusted around us as we ate. Pizza and calzones are pretty good.
