Our experience started out positive. We enjoyed their bread, mozzarella sticks, and the Alfredo dipping sauce. In fact, we loved the Alfredo dipping sauce so much 3 of the 4 of us ordered dishes with Alfredo. All 3 Alfredo entrees were awful. The sauce was so runny it ran off the pasta and had zero flavor. The chicken tasted like reheated boiled chicken. My son ordered the pizza and it was good so I ended up eating some of his. I debated saying something because I am not normally someone who speaks up. I personally would rather have a customer tell me vs leave a bad review.... As I was paying I told the waitress how much we loved the Alfredo dipping sauce but had a different experience when they served it in the Entree. She tried to tell me that it tastes different on noodles and veggies. It was bland and watery. She was nice but also trying to convince me that I must not understand Alfredo sauce vs Alfredo sauce . I've been eating Alfredo for 40 years and never had such a bad pasta dish. I didn't even mention the chicken after that because I could see it wasn't going to go anywhere. I wasn't looking for a free meal. I just want to see these small businesses survive and they won't if their food sucks and they don't care for feedback ‍. I wouldn't say "don't eat here". Just stick with the pizza. read more

Luigi's is SO amazing! This is one of my favorite Italian food restaurants. The food is delicious, the service is always so great, and the restaurant itself is so clean! We were passing through Atoka on 2/19/24 and stopped here for lunch. The food was soooo good. We both had the combo special which included lasagna, manicotti, tortellini, ziti and cheese ravioli. It normally comes with spinach ravioli but they allowed us to substitute. When the very nice servicer brought our food to us we didn't think we would be able to eat it all but we we couldn't stop until it was all gone! Everything had it's own distinct flavor. I made the comment that even the butter is delicious! The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Atoka is a two hour drive away for me but I will be making multiple trips back to Luigi's! read more

Went home to see my Mom and she requested food from Luigi's, not knowing this restaurant I agreed and told her I would pick it ip and bring it to her. The food was packaged well, piping hot and so yummy! I'm sure it's ever better if eaten in the restaurant. Small town great restaurant! read more

We ate there for the first time and unfortunately I don't think we'll ever go again. The waitstaff was friendly and the restaurant seemed adequately clean. We did have some Mozzarella Sticks for appetizers and that was my favorite part, however, not my husband's. He said he would give them a two (2) because he felt like they tasted lukewarm, but I'd give them a three. He ordered the Pasta Sampler and he said it tasted very average to him, giving it a 2 1/2. I ordered the Chicken Cacciatore and sent it back. I tried, but the sauce tasted different and the waitress told me it had Worcheshire (sp?) sauce or something like that in it and it just didn't taste right to me. They did let me make an exchange (the waitress was friendly about it) and I was also very respectful about it as well. I felt kind-of bad , I just didn't want our first experience there to be a negative one. I then ordered Baked Ziti and it looked wonderful. When I took my first bite, I asked my husband to try it because something tasted off to me. The pasta and mozzarella were good, but the ricotta inside of it almost tasted sour to me. I was so disappointed and left almost all of it there. My husband did tell me after we got home that he thought I was right and something was sour about it. I would give both of my dishes about a 1 1/2. My husband paid for both of our plates and we left. I am sorry to say we did not find our food delicious at all, but maybe others will have a different experience when they go. I am still bothered that the second dish they brought me tasted sour. So, for folks driving down Highways 69/75 through Southeastern Oklahoma, this little place in Atoka is a delicious surprise, if you haven't already stopped here. My wife and I will make this a regular mealtime stop on our drives between Dallas and Tulsa. A friend had recommended this restaurant, and I am forever in his debt. The food here is delicious--well prepared and presented, flavorful but not overly seasoned like some places; here is the perfect blend of flavors, spices, textures, aromas! And the service is outstanding--friendly, helpful and prompt. This was our first visit -- I had the Chicken Florentine and my wife had the manicotti. We loved our dishes, everything about them. All the classic Italian dishes are on the menu, plus others I've never heard of but am looking forward to trying on our future visits, of which we intend many! This place is worth the barely 3-blocks' detour off Highway 75 in downtown Atoka. And what are such fantastic restaurateurs doing in little ol' Atoka! read more

We love Italian, but are pretty picky. We ordered stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. We did not like them. They were hot enough (temperature) and we didn't like the flavor. However, the rest of our meal was very good. My husband ordered pizza and it was great! Wonderful texture, sauce and toppings. I had the Roma salad with chicken and it was delightful! Fiance loves this place. This is his top 1 place to go when on road trips. He loves the calzone and was so excited in bringing me here. We took our food to go because of approaching storm. His calzone was amazing. My pasta on the other hand was OK. My pasta doesn't have that fresh marina taste, I'm not sure why that was. The portion was not enough. I usually cannot finish or get full after just the pasta but I was left hungry. The bread was just OK too. I tried eating the bread while waiting for the pasta to cool but it was already not that good. He still loves the place so we will keep coming back. I can't say enough good about this place. My business was asked by an administrator at our local nursing home to feed his staff for an in house training program. I asked around several places and chose Luigi's. We asked to feed 20 people and it was very reasonably priced. Adriana was extremely helpful when I ordered. The food was prepared on time and packed very well. The quantity was sufficient. More importantly though was the quality of the food. Oh my gosh, it was delicious. Usually when we feed a group like this I just leave the food for them but this time I took a plate home with me for my dinner. It was that good. Kudos to Luigi's for a great meal. read more

I read some really great reviews about this restaurant's food. I always love to travel and try local restaurants. This time I walked away feeling average about my overall experience. I'd like to point out that the owners were super friendly, and the service was great. The handmade rolls were good and the homemade tomato-based Italian salad dressing was delicious! We had beef ravioli which were okay, but they were lacking in flavor - the marinara sauce was okay, but it was more bland than my husband is used to. I had ordered the chicken Piccata which someone had raved about in a review. (Side note: I understand that different regions of a country prepare dishes differently, so I'm not sure if this is the case here). The chicken piccata I'm used to has been tossed in flour and then pan sautéed until it is browned and then a lemon butter sauce with capers is made. This had strips of sautéed chicken in a broth that was kind of grey in color. I bit down on a bunch of lemon seeds. The flavor of the piccata was lacking in the beautiful richness that used to eating. I personally don't recommend it. Overall, the kindness of the owners made the experience, but I can't say I'd recommend it to anyone. read more
